Miho Shinohara is an ordinary third grader who dreams of becoming a famous cartoonist--until she meets a mysterious man from the future and two cute dinosaur-fairies, Pigu and Mogu. Clearly aimed at little girls, Fancy Lala will appeal to fans of Cardcaptors: Miho lacks Sakura's unpretentious charm, but she's a more intelligent and capable heroine than Serena/Usagi in Sailor Moon.
