Summary: Well-drawn animation, and an easy-to-understand plot!
Review: The fourth DBZ movie, Lord Slug was originally released in Japan under the title "Super Saiya-Jin Gokuu" but was changed into Lord Slug after being dubbed into English and released in the U.S.A. This movie is a bit shorter than the others, but it is still good. I love the first song, besides the theme, played on this movie, I was "playing the music" in my head 'cause it was so cool. It wasn't all that funny when Gohan and Higher Dragon annoyed Piccolo in the beginning, but it was a little. This movie practically gets right to the point, basically right after that scene the movie gets down to business. First we see a so-called "computer simulation" of a giant meteor destroying the planet, then some more kick ... music starts to play and it shows Goku and Krillin trying to deflect the asteroud with their Kamehameha beams fused together (I'm not telling what happens to the asteroid). Let's jump forward to after Goku starts fighting Lord Slug, now, Slug gets him enraged and Goku gets really strong, people say that he went Super Saiyan but actually Goku never goes Super Saiyan until DBZ movie 5 (which is Cooler's Revenge). Still, the way Goku charged like a bull straight at Lord Slug was really cool, but after that, then it wasn't cool again until Goku was back on his feet after a thorough ...-whoopin' from Slug and powers up a Kaio-Ken attack. Unlike the first three movies, Goku sounds like he does in the series. It's kind of disappointing to hear Goku raged up in the first three DBZ movies 'cause he kinda sounds like a girl. The Super Saiyan transformation was great (it's easier just to call it Super Saiyan, so let's do just that, 'kay?) and he looked cool with waving black hair, red shadowing (his hair, I mean) and his pupils cannot be seen. Some people say it looks stupid, but I think it looks fairly cool. All in all, this was a great DBZ movie and you should buy it right away.

Oh yeah, that first song besides the theme that I was talking about, it is by Finger Eleven and it is called Drag You Down.

Summary: Lord Slug
Review: This is probly the worst movie I've ever seen.I am die hard DBZ fan and I love every DBZ movie/episode even the (yucky) ones but this one is terrible. Stupid plot and no action. It is also
exremely short. 45 minuets. That is 1 1/2 episodes. And if your have to buy it , buy it uncut. The cut one cuts EVERYTHING out.

Summary: Save Your Cash and Skip Buying this Movie...
Review: if i could give this movie a rating of Zero stars I would. Please save your hard earned cash and don't buy this dbz movie. The plot, storyline are weak and boring. If you must, go out and rent this dvd. Believe me, if your a diehard dbz fan like i am, you will be totally disappointed with this movie.

Summary: Lord Slug - Much Better English version than Japanese!!!
Review: I dont know how many people have seen the Japanese version of this movie, but it was horrible. Hardly any music at all, boring, and makes you wanna go to sleep. On the other hand, the English version has great music that makes the movie much much better. I just wanna say that It was a big suprise to me how much better it was with the music. (...)

Summary: Rocking
Review: This DBZ feature has all the fights and action expected by the series, and to add to it has a great soundtrack with music no one has heard used with DBZ. The music fits the scenes they are in perfectly and its modern american Rock. Like the other 3 of the original DBZ features they take place before the Frieza encounter so dont look for the blond Goku and Gohan or the other saiyans, but overall it fits the series and doesnt destroy the plot completely. I give 3 stars for staying true, no more though because you can tell how its gonna end like always.

Summary: Pretty Good
Review: I thought this was an awesome movie. I won't spoil it 4 u but I'll give u a general outline. An evil person comes to earth and tries to freeze it. Of course the "Z Fighters" will have somethin' to say about that. Plus Goku becomes a Super Saiyin, well thats what North Kai calls it but his hair doesn't turn blonde and his eyes don't turn green. Anyway, this video rocks. I recomend it to DBZ fans and anime fans.

Summary: Lord Slug review
Review: Dragonball Z' 4th movie gets 4 stars. I give the movie 3, but since the music was so good, I gave it a 4. Disturbed, and Deftones provide this movie with awesome effects to the fight scenes. Some of the story is pretty boring, but Gohan's whistle makes me watch it over and over. Most of the movie is pretty funny, but the action scenes are pretty cool. Though, it's kinda late to release it, it's worth buying. If you think this is gonna be filled with Trunks, super sayins, and Goten you're wrong. Goku can't even go super sayin yet.

Summary: LORD SLUG
Review: I loved this movie I thought it was great with the rock music in the background. Its not my favorite movie and its not worth buying it uncut the only thing thats cut out from the edited version is DR. Breifs, Bulma's dad, has a cigarette in his mouth.
It's an all out good movie. Like I said its not my favorite but if you are starting a DBZ movie Collection this is one to add. There are way better movies comming out
