Summary: A Unique Cartoon That Sent Chills Up My Spine!
Review: All three episodes of Pokémon on this tape are spectacular episodes and probably the best of the series.
I received this video right after I'd slipped out of the Pokemon craze. I complained in my head, but when I turned it on I was quite surprised at how amazing this video was.
The third episode on this tape is the best. It is about Sabrina's gym and Ash has to get her badge, but doensn't succeed. Now, Sabrina's little girl (doll) asks to play with Ash. And I mean, literally...in a world of dolls.
This episode is both funny, action-packed and throws chills up my spine especially in that bath tub scene where the doll turns around in the water!
Well, I recommend this to anyone, in or out of the craze of Pokémon!

Review: Ghost of Maiden's Peak (Brock is lured into a ghostly trap), Bye Bye Butterfree (Team Rocket tries to steal swarm of Butterfree) and Abra & the Psychic Showdown (Ash's quest for the Marsh Badge leads him to battle Gym Leader Sabrina & her Abra).

Summary: The Best!!
Review: I just love Pokemon! I't my favorite show. I've only seen it firs on WB But then when I found out about the videos, I felt that I could learn how Ash caught his first Pokemon, and how it all started, and I did!! 'Psychic Surprise' is my favorite video, beacause it features Gastly, Haunter, And Gengar, my favorite pokemon. Which are ghost-type Pokemon (I've also caught all three on my Gameboy)!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Psychic Surprise was almost the best Pokemon video I've seen
Review: I loved Psychic Surprise even though bye-bye butterfree was really sad and I'm still trying to find out if Ash wins a Marsh Badge with his hunter that he caught in Lavender Town.

Summary: This video is a gotta see.
Review: I loved that episode and it really deserved that name, "Phychic Surprise". It was really breathe taking and one of the most surprising videos I have ever seen. The Gastly, Haunter, Gengar trio was the best.

Summary: I think that this is one of the best epsasods.
Review: I think that this is one of the best three epsasods in the seres

Summary: Good, but NOT FOR EVERYONE!
Review: I wanted to write a review to warn people: This is a very good tape, with lots of good comic moments (such as Ash, Misty, and Brock reciting the Team Rocket poem). But, this tape has some CREEPY supernatural elements that are unsuitable for younger children or others who are easily scared.

Summary: bad video
Review: i watched all the pokemon so far and i can only conclude that they are all garbage. pikachu is a little brat that should go into his poke ball and not waste time outside of it. parents, think hard before buying anything about pokemon

Summary: A little about the movie!

Summary: A wonderful video for any anime fan!
Review: If you've seen Pokemon before, and like me, have noticed that the plotline rarely changes from episode to the next, this video is a refreshing change.
The first episode follows the story of the ghost of a young maiden who turned to stone waiting for her love to return from a war. Our heroes come face-to-face with a Gastly who is going about impersonating the ghost in order to keep her legend alive. This is one of the few episodes where Ash, Brock, and Misty actually work with Team Rocket, rather than thwart their thieving plans.
The second episode is very sweet; it's the story of Ash's Butterfree going off to find a mate and leaving his trainer. First, he must win a pink Butterfree's heart by rescuing her from Team Rocket. The epsiode ends with a touching array of scenes of catch catching and raising Butterfree from Caterpie.
The third episode, and my personal favorite, centers around Gym Leader Sabrina. Sabrina constantly holds a doll who seems to speak most of her dialouge for her. A mysterious man warns Ash not to challenge Sabrina, but since when does Ash listen to anyone? Upon losing, Ash and friends are almost trapped when Sabrina shrinks them down to doll size inside her toybox. The same man rescues Ash and tells his that if he were to capture a ghost Pokemon, he might stand a chance against Sabrina. He then quietly adds that he hope Ash can "rescue" her.
This is the last episode on the tape, unfortunatly. When the Pokemon episodes were released on video, they were put in groups of three epsiodes each in chronological order. So some videos, like this one, have a cliffhanger with no ending. If you want to see the end, Primape Problems is the next video after this, and it features the two concluding epsiodes about Sabrina.
If you're into anime, but skepital that Pokemon can provide an enjoyable plot, I highly recommend this video. This shows Pokemon at its best.
A word of warning: If you're thinking of purchasing this video for a child, the plot gets slightly complicated, and there are some spooky scene which may frighten smaller children. I would recommend Poke-friends, or another less intimidating tape.
