Summary: A Great to a Great Series, I think...
Review: This anime series, though old (in drawing style), is a pretty well made anime. This dvd is the final conclusion to the saga of Cosmo Warrior Zero, I think, because I've researched the topics at the Media Blasters and Right Stuff Inc, and they don't have any info. on whether they'll were going to continue the series or not.
The ending of battle with the Machine Men is the on the first episode, #13, of the DVD, but it leaves it open as one of the main instigators escapes(you'll have to watch the dvd in order to find out who). If you haven't seen the other dvds, I'd recommend that you see it first before watching this dvd. Anyway, there are a lot of explosions, manly bravado, and a sense of unity and heroism. I'd have to admit the storyline flows quite well. The other 2 episodes, 14 & 15 are the "Warrior" specials. Here he and Harlock build a closer relationship and of course, lets just say the closing is great but it leaves it open to continue the saga if neccessary. Of course this is only one of the several sagas. There are other Sagas like the Harlock Saga and Maetel Legend (which I haven't seen yet but hoping to see later on) but I also see another saga coming out as well called "Hapalong Harlock" which focuses on Harlock and Tochiro in a western environment in the US. Well, to end this review, I give this dvd/saga 2 big toes up and I'd recommend seeing it if you like action/drama/romance/manly bravado all in one anime (buy or rent all the dvds in order).
