Summary: Good set, but...
Review: INTRODUCTION:
Sailor Moon is an anime series that first aired in 1992. It was based on a manga series created by Nakao Takeuchi, best known for her Sailor V series at the time. In no time at all, the series had become wildly popular, and in the mid-nineties it was ported to America. Unfortunately, it was severely edited. Some entire episodes were missing and the dialogue was butchered. Fans cried out for uncut episodes. And finally, early in the new millennium, uncensored DVDs were released. The entire Super S series, the fourth of five series, is now available uncut on DVD! Read on for my review of this set.

BASIC PLOT:
This is the fourth of the five Sailor Moon series. By now the Death Busters have been defeated, and Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus have left town. Sailor Chibi Moon has also decided to remain in the present time period rather than go back to the future. Unfortunately, the peace period is short lived. A new series of villains has arrived on the scene following the occurence of an eclipse. These new villains hunt down humans for their dream mirrors, in hope that they will find the one that their master desires. And all the while, Chibiusa keeps getting visits from a mysterious Pegasus in her dreams. What's up with this? This saga of Sailor Moon rages on for about thirty episodes.

SERIES OPINIONS:
Overall, this is a good Sailor Moon saga, but when compared to the other sagas of the series, it's strictly average. The Dream Mirror thing is pretty much a rip-off of the Heart Crystal thing from the previous series, the S series. Likewise, Chibiusa is an annoying character - although she's not QUITE as bad as people make her out to be. If you're a fan of the series, check this saga out. I think you'll enjoy it.

THE DUB:
The dubbed version of the series is in many ways better than previous sagas that have been dubbed, and worse in many ways. It's better in that it uses the original background music and that more of the character names than ever before are close to their originals, but it's worse in that some scenes are horribly translated, and many of them have been Americanized, often with horrible slang. Here's a little tip - while you're watching the Japanese subtitled version of the DVD, hit the Audio button on your DVD remote and switch to the dub track. This way you can watch the English dub with the English subtitles for the Japanese version - there's no better way to see how bad some of the translations are!

DVD:

Once again, DVDs featuring an uncut dub and an uncut sub have been released. This is great because you get both versions of the series. Unfortunately, these DVDs are severely lacking in the extras department. Why couldn't they give us things like production art and interviews with cast and crew? Those would have been great extras! Also, unlike the other Sailor Moon Super S DVDs, this one only has THREE episodes! Appropriately enough, the price is lower, but still, they could have fit these episodes onto past releases!

OVERALL:
Overall this is an excellent DVD set, but I remain confident that I could also have been done much better. Still, if you're a Sailor Moon fan, this is a strongly recommended release.

Summary: Must have!
Review: It may be short, but it follows the gang to the end of the season as everything is finally uncovered. Hope to see more of the Amazoness Quartet in the next season. The last episode was much like a sailor moon movie and well ended.

Summary: idiots.
Review: ok the idiot who wrote this review: i only gave this 3 stars because it ends like there is more to the sailor moon series, i wish there was more it really stinks that this is the last series. there are only 3 episodes in this dvd. i can't believe that this is the end. please make more sailor moon! i thought something dramatic happens like it goes to the future and shows how, Queen Serenity (a.k.a. serena) marries darian and then it ends but no it ends with a lot of questions

is hella wrong. that is not the end to the series known as sailor moon. their is one more series to it. sailor moon stars. and it probably wont be coming out in america any time soon because there are certain areas of the series not suitable for american veiwers, or so the US states.

Summary: Good bye Queeny
Review: Sailor Moon SuperS is by far the best series of Sailor Moon in AMERICA, and the Pegasus Collection 7 is absolutely wonderful. The animation is wonderful and the music will make you cry it is so beautiful. Plus the relationship between Helios and Chibi-Usa is absolutely wonderful. This is absolutely a must have!

To clear a few things up.... the Stars season has been released in Japan, but it will not be released in the U.S. on account of it's too violent. Pioneer, DIC, and others refuse to dub in because it is impossible to edit without losing major chunks of the story.

Summary: Wooooo! Get this DVD!
Review: Some people don't like the Sailor Moon Super S season because there is too much focus around Chibi-Usa (Rini). This is why, after the first few episodes of Sailor Moon Sailor Stars,
she is gone, no more, back to the future. That's right, the only other time she appears is a cameo appearence towards the end. So if you think about it, they aren't showing too much
of her, they're just making up for the lack or air time in the fifth and final season of Sailor Moon.

Other then what I just said, get the DVD. It is worth the cost, trust me.

Summary: Good to the last drop
Review: The person from Pepper Mill or whatever spoke as though this was the end of show. Actually they're wrong. In Japan there was another season after this entitled Sailor Stars and the first 6 episodes were devoted to wrapping up the SuperS season and then moved on to a new arc involving Sailor Galaxia and the Sailor Wars. However, this will probably not be licensed in the USA anytime soon due to censorship issues but we can only hope right? Anyway, this disc was really good. I recommend the entire 5 season run to any anime fan. Don't forget the 3 movies! (R, S, SuperS) which are just as good!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Super S series
Review: These epiosodes are the best of the whole Super S series. Most of the Super S series are very boring. These epiosodes end the series(well at least the American side). Also you can see the oringnal series. And don't worry about the subtitles. You get use to them!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: End of SuperS
Review: This disc marks the end of the American DVD releases of S and SuperS. This disc will include Sailormoon SuperS episodes:
(164) The Golden Crystal Comes Out! Neherenia's Spell!
(165) When the Crystal Shines! The Power of Beautiful Dreams!
(166) Forever Dreams! Light Throughout the Sky!
This disc is the end of the Dead Moon Circus story line, but not the end of it's main villainess, Queen Neherenia (see Sailorstars episodes 167-172).

Many people feel that Sailormoon SuperS is the worst season of Sailormoon due to it's focus on Chibiusa. However, there are many amazing elements shown throughout this season. This final disc contains one of the most spectacular season wrap-ups in Sailormoon history. Neherenia is absolutely one of the best villainesses of this series.

I recommend Sailormoon SuperS Pegasus Collection volume VII to Sailormoon fans everywhere; though, beware. Pioneer's translation is a little strange in the subtitles.

This disc also includes the Cloverway dub of these episodes.

Support Sailormoon and buy the DVDs!

Summary: Sailor Moon SuperS-The Final DVD
Review: This final DVD edition of the successful Japanese animation cartoon Sailor Moon is the best collection yet dubbed in english. As many of the reviews exemplified before, this spectacluar DVD includes the last three episodes of the SuperS season. According to research, conveniently and to the liking of many fans in Japan and in the US, in the end of SuperS the focus is taken off Chibiusa (Dubbed Rini in the USA), and Super Sailor Moon is put in the spotlight, along with Tuxedo Mask. Don't judge that SuperS will have a horrible ending just because of the main plot. As all sailor moon fans know, the endings of seasons are always unthinkable and creative. I promise you in the SuperS DVD, it performs this and more. This DVD will bring you sailor moon fans happiness and satisfaction forever.

If you are looking for a total wrap up of the Sailor Moon SuperS's villain Queen Nehelenia, I reccommend a search of 'Sailor Moon Stars' on eBay, there are many collections on auction of the Stars Season which includes the fate of Nehelenia.

I give my word that Sailor Moon Pegasus Collection VII is the greatest of all the Sailor Moon DVDs out there. Bring the best of them home and be able to watch and enjoy them whenever you like, a promise from Sailor Moon fan to Sailor Moon fan. :)
