Rating: Summary: Jing goes to the ball Review: Jing and Kir(his faithful albatross\weapon) show up in ZaZa expecting a party only to find the place filled with warriors. There are some great fight scenes as he can't get near the "vintage smile" unless he wins the tournament. The artwork is great. The perspective shots of him tumbling are phenomenal. The music is fun. The whole series is filled with vibrant color, wit and humor.Jing is always portrayed as brillant but oddly introspective, a strange mix in an action series and a youth. I like the fact that the things he steals are symbols. And he and Kir always help someone in each of the episodes. Yes, I know I sound like a doofus, but it's cool to see how he helps people. It's not always what you expect. I do have to say that it is ovious who the mystery fighter is in part 2 but that was the only real drawback. There is a kiss between him and "the Jing girl" and you wonder at the end what might happen next. But you won't find out unless they decide to put out a new series. This is the last DVD. There was much complaining a our house until we picked up the #4 jing manga and found a story line not included in the anime. You also find out how he and Kir met in the manga.
