Rating: Summary: Something New and Very Welcome! Review: Like most anime titles the cover says it all, and this one is a prime example. You can kind of guess this is pure fan service centered on the maid, Nanako Shichigusa, who somehow fits into this strange story about aliens and Jesus. Yes, THAT Jesus. I won't lie to you, at some point your going to say, "Huh? That ain't right!" However, it won't be about the religious parts. Dr. Kyoji Ogami is from a long line of scientists, all of which had the same maid. Nanako, like the ones before her, were all clones of the same woman. They mysteriously die at the age of twenty, and then get cloned again. Now, you might think Kyoji might be nice to her because of this fact, but for some reason he isn't nice to her at all. Between the extensive training and verbal abuse you might feel Kyoji dislikes Nanako, but that isn't the case here. All the questions you might have get resolved at the end so no problem with the story. There are a few other characters that make a seldom appearance, but their names escape me because their small roles. The three volumes contain two episodes each, and each volume is about an hour of entertainment. I highly recommend this series because it has everything on a BIG scale, but the 15+ doesn't lie so hide the kids.
Rating: Summary: Ugh....So Bad Review: The animation is VERY cheap, the main character whines constantly until you just wish she would die, and there are probably only 3 or 4 good laughts on this DVD. Somehow, I think this series could have been good, but it just isn't. The voice actress who plays Nanako is just plain annoying. If you're looking for fan service, you'll find some, although not much. Don't buy this DVD, maybe rent it.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Job Review: The character is so sexy and funny and that is what guys looking for!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Great Nurse Nanako Review: This was a great anime. The show was really funny and I think that any one should buy it because it simply is the best.
Rating: Summary: Not what I expected Review: True I should have figured that the show was not going to be that great by the other reviews, but there was nearly no character development at all. It was also hard to figure out why any of the c haracters were there unless you went and researched the series online. Not one of pioneer's better works.
Rating: Summary: ok plot, somewhat funny, and well drawn if not animated Review: While I can see why people may not like A.N.N. very much, I found it to be watchable. It is pretty funny and has asomewhat interesting (if yet unrevealed) plot, cool music, funny characters, and some pretty decent art (if not animation). However, it is obvious this title is geared mainly at male audiences. In the first episode there is some almost-ultraviolence, and in the second their is some nudity. That may not sound so bad, but I have to tell you that every scene that features Nanako has fan service. If your 14 or up, I recomend this to you. But parents, this one's not for the kiddies.
