Summary: The comedy of Slayers and the seriousness of Robotech
Review: Nadesico brings together the elements of a great anime.. with unorthodox humor and a serious attitude when it is time to battle. This anime set is well worth the money if you are into Slayers and Robotech.

Summary: Once again, a hit.
Review: Nadesico Vol 2 is an excellent continuation of the series. While the plot is still not deep, it does deal a little bit with having to deal with the loss of a friend, and how people will remember you after you're gone. The story about the spice rack was very nice, and added a bit of character to the chef, an otherwise abnormal background character. Also, the addition of the three Aestivalis 'Tigress' makes for a fun filled hour and twenty minute experience. Rent and/or buy and enjoy!

Review: Aside from the animation, and music, there may not seem to be too much to this series at first. However, this anime grows on you as you watch it. You have to be familiar with at least some of anime's history to fully appreciate the lengths the writers and designers went to. The plot seems thin at first, but thats really how any great show should start. I recommend this video because it did the same thing that Galaxy Quest has done recently, and poke fun at the industry, and the fans, and had fun while doing it. The dubbing is top notch, if not higher. Oh well, enjoy!

Summary: One of the best Animes that I have seen
Review: This show is good if you just whant to just have fun. The captian of the ship is a 20 year old girl named yurika who just drives everyone crazy. Gai is a child like pliot who likes to whatch cartoons and broke his own leg goofing off with his mecha. Akido is a cook who is forced to become a backup pliot and is cursed with Yurika having a crush on him. This show is one of the funnist animes that I have seen.

Review: I tried one more tape in the hope of finding the enthusiasm for this series other viewers have. All I see is sloppy film work, inconsistant drawing proficiency, transparent and unmotivated plot 'twists' and uninteresting character development. The sexy female characters seem less and less sexy since the poses have become less natural. Oh boy...this series is far from excellent anime, and is having trouble being watchable compared to other anime series.

Summary: Marvelous
Review: The really great thing about this series is the ability to keep you there for the entire ride. there are plot twists playing off of one another. I have seen the entire series in the original Japanese, and this series is the best!

Summary: "Launch the Aestivalises!"
Review: After purchasing volume one of the series with little disappointment, I just had to get vol. 2. I have to say that Nadesico has a certain quality to it that I haven't seen before. For one thing, it can be absolutely hilarious and still have a deeper meaning. For another, the character designs are spectacular, and anyone who watches anime for its artistic quality will love this video. The main plot doesn't seem too interesting. Just one of those "aliens attack and its up to a single ship to save the day" series. Except that this time, they practically lose the war. Thats probably what makes it such a cool movie. There is one part where the captain is forced to choose between saving a collony of refugees or sacrificing her ship. Its a very tense moment, and for some it is pretty unpredictable. Another awesome element of Nadesico is its mecha. They are pretty cool looking robots, nothing special, but very well animated. Besides, they make for some funny scenes. I won't spoil the plot for you, but really. Don't become one of Ruri's "idiots". Buy this video. I promise you, you won't regret it.

Summary: The BeginningTo Something Spectacular
Review: I kind of went out on a limb purchasing Nadesico. I normally don't by anime(but rent all the time and love it) but I decided to buy it because I couldn't rent it anywhere. After all it was called "The Best Anime Series of All Time." I can easily see why, this series combines a little bit of everything. It has Comedy, drama, action, and good character interaction. I own Volume 1-3 and the plot and characters really start to develop and I can't wait tell all the other volumes are realeased. I highly reccommend it to anyone.

Summary: Plots wander, humor continues ...
Review: I picked up the second tape to get a grip on this series. Perhaps, I thought, the second tape would give me a renewed hope for the series...sadly, the second continues the pace and direction of the first which is not very enthusiastic, just more space silliness with hot chicks. Good art, again. A friend of mine had the Japanese DVD of the Nedesico movie 'Prince of Darkness', and I watched that as well, only to realize nothing this series does has much impact. It's just a confusing middle of the road anime series.
