Summary: Gundam Wing is rad.
Review: Beautiful DVD. I can't get over the fact that I'm not sure which version of Gundam Wing I like better: subtitled or dubbed. Subtitled usually wins by a long shot but the dubbing for Gundam Wing is nothing short of incredible. Perfect video and audio. This DVD has 5 episodes! Most usually have just 3, and that's for the same price; this is quite the bargain, folks. This is a must have DVD for all anime fans.

Summary: Good VHS of great TV series
Review: SHOOTING STARS, the first volume of GUNDAM WING video cassettes, is a very good qualitiy. The episodes look as if I'm watching them on Cartoon Network, something some other videos I have of TV shows don't always have. The 4 episodes are great, but my only problem is I didn't get the unedited version. You'd be amazed at how much was cut out of Heero's stay at the Alliance hospital and his subsquent escape with Duo. I may end up getting the unedited version yet.

Would be 5 stars, but one off due to being edited from original form.

Summary: Yet another mind-less mecha anime... Well, sort of...
Review: I watched the original Gundam movie a little while ago. It was then that I realized that mecha anime has always been farfetched and stupid, not just the '90s stuff as we have been led to think. Though every once in a while an anime involving huge robots that are piloted by children ends up being... good. Gundam 0083 fixed the mistakes of its previous series by NOT making the main character a wannabe 10-year-old pilot who should, by all means, be clueless about piloting giant robots of death. On the other hand, Gundam Wing goes back to the whole children idea which was once again popular back when Evangelion was released onto the unsuspecting public, but put a twist on it: This time, these 14-year-olds were trained before hand. It's such a simple idea, yet it works.

Anyhow, here's the plot in a nutshell: Boy is part of secret operation to stop evil empire. Boy falls to earth in mysterious mobile suit. Boy meets girl. Girls helps boy. Boy tries to kill girl. Girl falls in love with boy. It's not exactly Shakespeare, but it works.

The animation is a big step up from previous Gundam series, but still isn't anything to gawk at.

Despite the opening theme song by possibly the greatest J-Pop duo ever, Two-Mix, the rest of Gundam Wing's score isn't spectacular. It's quite simply just average.

So why does Gundam Wing get 4 stars? 1 for its wide range of characters which actually have personalities, another for it's opening themes by Two-Mix, and 2 more for the fact that this Gundam series' masked phantom, Zechs, actually has a cool-looking mask. I would've given it another star if it wasn't for the fact that the creators felt it was necessary to set up as many shounen ai plots in a single episode as possible.

Summary: One of the best Gundam series
Review: All of the Gundam series are awesome, but GW is quite possibly the best. It has a very good plot, awesome animation and characters with different personalities. This is the only tape(so far) that contains 4 episodes. These may not be the best episodes in the series, but they do a great job of getting the basic ideas of the show out in the open. I would definately recommend this to any one who is either a long time Gundam fan, or some one who is just getting in to Gundam(like myself). This video is UNCUT. So for those of you who think this is what Toonami plays at 5:30, your wrong. This is what they show during the Midnight Run. There is some bad language and also some blood.

Summary: Gundam Wing Plus
Review: Definitely a good way to use up that extra space on the DVD. The show's on the disc I've already seen at least 3 times, and I would still consider it one of the best show's on air right now. The DVD comes with five episodes instead of the four on the VHS, plus extra information on Heero, his mecha, and Relena. You can watch the english dubs, the original japanese, and you can chose if you want the sub-titles on or off at any time. It also comes with trailers for two other Gundam series, Cowboy Beebop, and Blue Submarine No.62.

Summary: GunDAM, that's good! (Bad joke, I know)
Review: This series may start a little slow for those who have never heard of Gundam Wing, knowing that this show has more dialogue than most other shows.

But the awesome thing about this is that the only thing edited in the edited version is just dialogue and some blood (although that gives it a less realistic feel). Otherwise, this is a great start to a cool series. Although there are some rather boring episodes, you REALLY have to listen closely to the dialogue in order to know just exactly what is going on. Edited or uncut, your choice, grab either.

Summary: Terriffic
Review: I am not a fan of Anime, but I am more than willing to make an exception for Gundam Wing. This is a great story, with lots of action. If you like Star Wars, you will defdinitely LOVE Gundam Wing.

Summary: Coolest Show!
Review: This is one of the coolest videos:) It has action, comedy, and not really that romantic. But it depends the way you take it between Relena and Heero. Watch this and you cant stop! And the fun thing is that they all have different personalities:) Determined, funny, quiet, polite, and a bit justicy:) Oh, and if you like piccilo from DBZ. Duo and him play the same voice! (just thought I'd point that out) This is the coolest video! I take with me wherever theres a TV!

Summary: Coolest Anime yet!
Review: This anime is very cool. I've heard that Gundam has quite a number of series. I've been told that Gundam Wing attracted a large number of girl audiences. I'd have to agree. There are 5 main characters, all boys. Heero Yuy (Japanese), Duo Maxwell (American), Trowa Barton (Latin), Quatre Raberba Winner (Arabian), and Chang Wufei (Chinese). For some odd reason, these characters are, shall I say GOOD LOOKING! The time is set at the year AC (After Colony) 195. People now inhabit space in space colonies. A secret organization, OZ, led by Treize Khushrenada (quite charming looking) has disrupted the peace in the colonies by assassinating the pacifist leader. Certain rebels from the colonies send super powerful mobile suits called Gundams to earth. The story deals with the politics of war, the confusion war brings, and the stupidity of war. The 5 main characters have distinguishing characteristics. Heero is quiet and very serious. Duo is very happy and humorous. Trowa is stoic and shows little emotion. Quatre is very tender-hearted and kind. Wufei is very proud of himself and doesn't seem to impressed by anyone. Personally, I think that Gundam Wing has a very easy to follow story line. I like all of the characters, good and bad. I'd give it 10 stars any time!
