Rating: Summary: Beast Wars Rule! Review: This is the best dvd a transformer fan could get, not only is it 3-D it has hard core action. This prouduct may say volume 1 but it has both the 1st three epidsodes and the other three epidsodes. Released in 1996, these are very cool transformers. THe Maximals and Predacons are once again battling for a planet, this time it could mean the total destruction of the whole universe. My favorite character is Cheetor because he is the youngest and is almost all ways getting into trouble. In BEAST WARS PART 1 and 2 you learn about each character and get a feel for each ones personality. In the epidsodes THE WEB and EQUAL MEASURES Cheetor gets into trouble and tries to prove himself to Optimus and gets into more trouble but he makes it out alive. In CHAIN OF COMMAND Optimus vanishes while exploring an alien probe and Dinobot tries to bully his way to the top. The last epidsode,POWER SURGE, Terrorsaur finds energon that gives him special powers and he easily defeats Megatron. Do the Maximals stand a chance? Buy this dvd to find out.
Rating: Summary: Why did they cancel the G1 cartoon series? Review: This new series is junk. Just a bad copy of a cult phenomenon. They would have done better to continoue season 4 of the orignal series...
Rating: Summary: horrible Review: This series is waste of time, no personalities, no cult, just a commercial series
Rating: Summary: A bad copy of 80's cult Review: This spin-off series is really just commercial nonsense. Everybody loved the original characters, why did they restructure the complete series?
Rating: Summary: Not even a shadow of the 80s G1 cartoons... Review: Transformers is the greatest cartoon series ever made and I am a huge fan, but this new series is not what fans wanted back since 1987 when the series was axed. CGI graphics is a nice innovation but where are the characters? They should have made new adventures for the beloved and strong characters from the 80s (Omega Supreme, Ironhide, Soundwave, Shockwave, Starscream, ...even Rumble) GREAT but not included here. The producers have completly abandoned the original scripts and invented a new universe. Maybe they are not to blame and the film studio ordered that the "failed" past has to stay buried.REMEMBER: It was a huge hit back in 1984 when the first G1 season started, imagine your childhood, the toys, the commercial spots - it held on in 1985 and then The Movie came. In 1986 we watched season 3 with Rodimus Prime, Galvatron, Metroplex and many more - and STILL The Transformers ruled the childrens' rooms. More than 3 years this is a record! However for hardcore fans Beast Wars is not the choice, for new watchers... start at the beginning with season 1 of Generation 1. TILL ALL ARE ONE and watch out, it is MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE!
