Summary: Death of a Prince
Review: This video was great! This is about Vegeta's death. It was really dramatic. Goku finally heals, so he goes to fight Frieza. While Goku was getting to the battlefield as fast as he could, Frieza was beating [up]out of Vegeta. When Goku finally arrived, Frieza tossed Vegeta aside to fight Goku. When Goku proved stronger than Frieza thought, the brutally beaten/wounded Vegeta started laughing and yelling that there really is a Super Saiyan, and that Frieza would die by "Kakarrot's" hand. Frieza, getting really annoyed, shoots a beam right through Vegeta's heart. Then, he is on the ground, crying, and telling Goku to forget about his feelings and kill Frieza. Then he said horrible things which were true, about Frieza killing King Vegeta (Vegeta's father), and Bardock (Goku's father). Then he said that Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta (home of the Saiyans) because he was afraid of the Saiyans, and thought that one day, a Super Saiyan would be born, and rise up to beat him, and end his reign of terror. Then, Vegeta said what got to Goku. "Frieza took me when I was just a little boy. He made me work endlessly, following and carrying out his orders. He threatened to kill my father if I disobeyed. I did everything he told me to, but he killed my father anyway. He made me what I am. He destroyed the Saiyans. Kakarrot, you and I are the only ones left. Please, kill him. Don't let your feelings hold you back." Then Vegeta died, and Goku buried him. Then the combat began.

Summary: A Masterpiece
Review: Vegeta, the most interesting character in Dragon Ball Z, as you may have guessed, dies in this increadible tape. Vegeta was always my favorite character and he still is. Before the video, Vegeta is seen as a careless monster, killing anyone who opposses him. Vegeta realizes he is going to lose, and does not fight back as Frieza ruthlessly beats him. Vegeta is eventually killed by Frieza, but with his dying breath, Vegeta confesses his past. The most emotional scene I have seen in a long time, even in american film, was when Vegeta is crying while he tells Gokou about how Frieza has abused and humiliated him. Tears came to my eyes as the Saiyne prince used his last strength to confess his actions. THis is a truely magnificent video and a must own. THe most beatiful and meaningful episode of Dragon Ball Z to date is in this video. This video shows how death scenes are to be done. If you hate Vegeta or love Vegeta, you need to see this video. One of the last things Vegeta says is "He made me what I am today!" as he is weeping and cluching the sand of Namek's soil. This tape, was authenticly, a masterpiece.

Summary: Death Of A Prince
Review: Well, I got this dvd in the mail today. Aside from Funimation's hilarious attempt to put a good quality dvd with their "extras" which aren't even extras and their below average quality dub, the dvd was good, no eyecatchers or intro/endings for each episode yet, but the original version makes up for that, and they do translate perfectly nowadays. The only other thing that would be nice, besides what I've mentioned, would be more episodes per disc.
