Summary: Short but Good!
Review: This is one great show! It's not a movie (I thought it was). It's a short OAV -- it has 4 episodes. The quality of the artwork is awesome. I really like the dubbing. It's really good. The fighting scenes are cool, and the magic spells are amazing to look at. Since the length of "Ruin Explorers" isn't that long, the story don't have much depth. But that doesn't matter, it's a great show to watch. You won't get bored watching this. It's pretty funny at times too!

Summary: A good anime that I would recomend
Review: This movie is race to find magic items by a couple different groups. Over the hunt they have to make new friends with those they once fought against.

I enjoyed the fighting styles and the magic, which I have seen done very bad lately.

The animation is well done, and flowing. Also I didnt notice any dubbing flaws, or sound problems.

Overal I enjoyed this very much and would recomend it to a friend looking for a title.

Summary: Good D&D adventures with excellent artwork ...
Review: Trying to compare 'Ruin Explorers' with 'Slayers' is like comparing apples and oranges: both fruit, but both different. 'Ruin Explorers' may be just another fantasy anime series, but its artwork and animation staff made it stand far above other series of it's kind. The designs remind me a little of the American comic book Battle Chasers, the colors are lively and the sequences are funny and adeptly executed. Typically, the hodge podge of characters held together tenuously over money and treasure are at each other's throats constantly, but believably and with entertainment value. Personally, I enjoyed this 2 tape series quite a bit even though the story is fairly typical. If you want a good couple tapes to keep you entertained, these are just fine. This series would have gotten 5 stars if the story was more crafty.
