Summary: Bring on the Harvest!
Review: Wow, what a volume. This one sets a new level for this series. I thought the last volume was good, but this one is even better. Its funny, as this series goes on and the characters evolve, it gets better and better. Not often these days does that happen, even in Anime. The combo of Cel and CGI is improving with every episode as well. Also, as the show evolves, the comedy is now starting to take a back seat to the serious aspects of the show. It's still hilarious of course, but the darker moments of this series are getting darker, and coming more often.

Review: Yet another great installment of a great anime. The music is a bit lacking, but the storyline is getting much more complex (now that the characters have had time to develop). Despite the editorial review, Jura did not get killed. Gascogne (the supply officer) sacrificed herself. Jura ended up getting banged up, but she's very much alive. If you've seen the first stage (the first four DVDs), the second stage is well worth the time, effort, and money. This DVD is no exception, and is a must-have for any Vandread fan (and any sci-fi anime fan in general).
