Summary: Disappointed! Not the same quality as Orphen Season 1
Review: I was quite disappointed in this! First, the artwork is not anywhere near as good as the first season. Secondly, it is more slapstick with very little plot. And I don't especially care for the humor. The characters seem to have regressed from where they were at the end of the first season. So most of the humor seems to be in spats between the characters. And I really didn't find that particularly funny! I much prefer the humor in Ranma, InuYasha, Rune Soldier or even Slayers!
The first season Orphen is one of my 5 favorite animes. And I give it a 5 star rating. The second season doesn't even rate 3 stars so far! But it deserves more than 2 stars which is why I gave it 3 stars. I think I would give it about 2.7 or 8 stars. I hope the rest of the season gets better & they come up with a plot! And I wish they would fire the artist!!!

Summary: Orphen 2: More funny than last time but with worst animation
Review: OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!! OH MY GOD!!! I just watched it last night and it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen in a while!

Summary: All Orphen, Cleao, Majic, and Leki want to do is relax. They dont really care where: at hot springs, at home, anywhere as long as they can relax. However, there is a strange girl following them around. She says she wants Orphen to come with her to some kind of sorcerer place so he can do something. (I was not really paying attention to that part though) And someone else seems to be sending monsters out to get them too.

While there seems to be no set plot yet, this season is so much more funny than last season! The animation is really bad. It looks like all the characters took off a few pounds. The animators did not bother to do a lot of detail to Orphen's necklace. And all of Orphen's magical attacks had these really weird paintings or something. It was kinda weird. I also loved Cleao's outfit that is the skirt and shirt that she is wearing on the cover of the DVD. I think it is such a cool outfit!

My favorite funny parts were when Orphen would wake up and Cleao is in bed with him and then she gets really mad and has Leki blast him! I also laughed so hard when Cleao and the trolls were pretending to be mice in the cleaing and everybody else was stabbing knives at them! The outtakes are so funny! "Kiss my monkey tail!" "I cant get off this treadmill!" Oh my God! I was dying of laughter! Really!!!! I suggest you get this right now!!! Please get it!!! You wont regret it!!!!

Summary: More Comedy...less story
Review: Orphen Season 1 gets 5 stars...unfortunately season two only gets 4. Season has a story, but the viewer must find it amongst the comedy. Orphen, Magic, Cleo and Leki (voiced by the same voice actors from the first Orphen) are going to some hot springs for a little R & R. Once they reach the resort town they discover that no one wants to give them any shelter. Also a mysterious glasses-dependent girl is following them, she wants Orphen's help (the reason is never made clear in any of the four episodes). Volkin and Dortin still refuse to pay their debt and someone is out to get Orphen...but who and why?
The animation is NOT as good as the first. The characters seem to have lost weight and look more cartoonish. What I find strange is that when Orphen uses his powers the background is reminiscent of some 60's psychedelic drug-induced vision. The outtakes are a special treat (I enjoyed their references to "American Pie" and Eddie Murphie's "The Nutty Professor").
If your an Orphen fan you will enjoy it but if your not familiar with Orphen I STRONGLY suggest you watch the first season before you see season two. Enjoy the story and small touches of humor of season one before you dive into the comedy saturated season 2.
If you're a parent, its best not to let your small children see this (the opening sequence has Orphen and Cleo in bed together, the first comedic sequence soon follows) and the language used in the outtakes are best appreciated by a mature ear.

Summary: Works for me
Review: So the animation isn't the greatest and there is really no plot to it. I loved it, the second season of Orphen is freaken hillarious. For that reason it's worth buying and well also the fact that Orphen is really really hot(yeah you fan girls out there, oh you won't be displeased)but if you're looking for some high quality masterpiece, I advise you to keep looking. I really liked it, but I'm really not that picky when it comes to anime-and if you're the same I totally recommend you buying it-of course if you haven't seen Orphen at all I also recommend watching the first season-not that you'll be totally lost or anything like that-that season is just good too.Oh and as far as subbing dubbing goes well I'm all about the dubbed so-if you have a preference or are picky in that area-well then I can't help ya there.

Summary: Disapointing
Review: The orginal Orphen was smart, had an edge, and told a great story. it artwork was excellant, it had great music and was in short one of the 5 best series I have seen.

This one needs better art work, much better music, A plot and vision!

While parts are funny on a whole a great disapointment
