Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Fun anime sci-fi for anime fans
Review: I watched these OVA's back before the rest of the US caught on to the Anime craze. These shows are the progressive story about war (a common Japanese story-line for obvious reasons) that goes on long after everyone can stop or benefit from it before both sides are destroyed forever.

The war is between a race of all women and a race of squigly aliens (doesn't it seem that most Anime monsters resembly sea creatures?) but at some point a small faction from each conspire to create some sort of bridge between the two races and stop the conflict (I wont tell any more or else I'll give away the story).

The first OVA first introduces the conspiracy, but it is halted before anything could happen. The second OVA picks up many years after the first when the use of "Nova-guns" stared to be used on each other's home planets, and the race for a safe home began. As for the other two... I don't want to spoil the suprise...

This show doesn't win much in orginalilty, but I give it high marks for the epic animated space fight scenes that we all love from the excellent mecha designs down to the exploding solar systems.

While this show isn't even close to erotic, the main characters are all women on a ship full of women, so they exersize locker-room modesty. This could raise a few eyebrowse and probably isn't for kids.
