Rating: Summary: The best anime I have seen in over a decade Review: This has to be the best anime since Urusei Yatsura! It has comedy, and lots of action!I really recomend this disc set! Far better than the version on Adult Swim.
Rating: Summary: Lost In A Sea Of Stars Review: This is a very interesting anime series. It is not one of my favorite. i prefer magical situated story lines when it comes to anime. However, for some one who is really into science fiction will like it. There's lots of battles, star ships, guns, and a lot more other stuff. I thought the story lines could have been a little bit better. However, the animation really makes up for it.
Rating: Summary: Great Show Review: This is one of my few favorite animes, and it is the best! I missed the first few episodes, and now that I have them, the ending seems to make sense. Please watch this very wonderful series!
Rating: Summary: ------|Outlaw Star|------ Review: This may not be one of the best reviews, but you should read it anyway! To start this off, were dealing with a pair of a man and a young boy. Gene Starwind and Jim Hawking pretty cool names if you ask me. They become outlaws as the anime goes on, but not the tpye of outlaws you would see in Cowboy Bebop, their both totally different, remember that. Outlaws in this anime are just people who adventure through space. They catch a crew while they journey all around space with different planets and races. I'm not covering everything in this, because it's obvious others had. I know all about it though, don't get me wrong! If you bothered to read this, Thank you!^^ Arigato, -Killua Any questions e-mail me at: warrior.killua@verizon.net
Rating: Summary: A Great Show Review: This show is good i dont think i have seen one as good since cowboy bebop, but collection 1 will leave you wondering. It is a good show for people who want action, space battles, and humor the dvd dosent have many features and is kind of boring. This show gets a tie with cowboy bebop and trigun which are all good "cowboy animes."
Rating: Summary: Best anime series ever! Review: This space anime series has it all. Action, adventure, romance, and humor blend for a more than decent plotline coupled with good animation with a minimal dependance on google eyes and lima bean mouths, plus characters you'll fall in love with, from shoot first and run like hell after Gene and his smart-mouthed sidekick Jim to the crafty mercenary MacDougall brothers, cunning Ron and his psychotic, missile-loving little brother Harry. While the edited and toned down version of the series shown on Cartoon Network's Toonami was good and suitable to show the kids, the only way to really enjoy the humor and innuendo is to get the full, uncut, adult-oriented version. The language is a little steep for under 12ers and there's some nudity as well as a great deal of sexual humor, but it's all part of the story and certainly no more graphic than your average movie rental. Episodes 1-9 cover our introduction to the main characters and their coming together on board the high tech spaceship, the Outlaw Star, the key, along with a beautiful bio-android named Melfina, to finding the legendary Galactic Leyline. Pursuing them are the evil Kei Pirates and the deadly and enigmatic MacDougall brothers. Offering both the original Japanese and dubbed English tracks, as well as subtitles in both languages, you can pick your flavor for viewing this great anime adventure. The DVD also contains an image gallery and the opening and closing themes without credits. It seems to play a bit glitchy on iMac (to get to the options screen, I'd have to play a portion of an episode and then return to the main screen) but does fine in other players. A hassle I'm more than willing to put up with to get my daily fix of Outlaw Star. Let's go!
