Summary: One of the Best Sailormoon DVDs Yet
Review: Before we get started, I cannot stress enough: watch this DVD in japanese with subtitles. You really do miss much of the emotion and meaning if you listen to the english dubbed.

Sailor Moon S has a reputation for being the best of the Sailor Moon seasons. This DVD will not let you down.

"A Time of Shock! True Identies Revealed to One Another"
-This episode gets the action rolling. Uranus and Neptune reveal their identies to the Sailor senshi at last.

"Death of Uranus and Neptune!? Talismans Appear... This is, without a doubt, my favorite episode of all time. Haruka and Michiru fans rejoice as Haruka and Michiru finally reveal- or at the least strongly suggest- their romantic feelings to each other, only to have to pay the ultimate price later in the episode. The japanese voice actors did an amazing job, and really poured emotion in the voices. I could keep praising, but time to move on. :)

"The Grail's Divine Power! Moon's Double Transformation"
-Well, the title gives away most of the episode: Sailor Moon finally gets ahold of the grail and transforms into Super Sailor Moon- but whether she's the Messiah remains to be seen. A must see!

"Who is the True Messiah? Chaos of Light and Darkness" and "A House Full of Evil Presence! The Secret of the Beautiful Girl, Hotaru"
-These two episodes focus on Professor Tomoe's switch to the bubbly celebrity-crazy Mimet as his assisant, and the introduction of Chibi Usa's mysterious new friend Hotaru- who happens to be Proffesor Tomoe's daughter. Defiantly worth watching!

"Crazy for Celebrities! Mimet, in Doubt"
-This is a light-hearted episode, a perfect end note after all the drama. The Death Busters are still out in search of pure heart crystals- however this time, they're just mass-collecting them for the awakening of their evil Messiah of Silence...

All in all, I give this DVD 5 stars. Enjoy!

Summary: Sailor Moon S Series DVDs - good overall
Review: For those of you who don't know, Sailor Moon is an anime series about a group of girls with the ability to transform into warriors so that they can battle the forces of evil. It sounds like something that's been done to death, but this series pulls it off nicely. Each episode of the series contains a good deal of dramatic action, with some comedy thrown in to make the series a bit more appealing. Originally it was intended for pre-teenage girls in Japan, but it has drawn in fans from many age groups and nationalities. The series began airing in America as early as 1995, but the episodes were horribly edited, and the dialogue was butchered. The poor time slot didn't help things ever, and eventually it vanished without a trace, until it was picked up by the Cartoon Network, which aired several new episodes, but these suffered the same flaws as their early North American predecessors. But at long last, Pioneer has created the solution to the problem - DVDs of the series, in all their original uncut glory. And what better place to start releasing DVDs than the S Saga, which was by far the best set of episodes?

Now on to the DVD itself. You get 6 episodes, which you can view in English or Japanese (if you choose the latter, subtitles have been provided.) There are also some minor extras, such as a gallery with info on one of the Sailor Senshi. In the episodes, they even left in the eyecatcher sequences! Unfortunately, these DVDs have some flaws. First and foremost, lack of extras. These character galleries are pretty cool, but I would've liked to see something like interviews with people who worked on the series. In addition, the next episode previews are not here (though oddly enough, the daily episode previews are.)

Overall this is an excellent DVD release for an excellent anime series. Contrary to popular belief, THIS DVD IS NOT OVERPRICED. It is slightly longer than most standard episode DVDs, so the slght price increase shouldn't be a problem. Fans of the original uncut Sailor Moon series, I strongly recommend you buy this item.

Summary: Since it's the Original Version, It's Very Good.
Review: I believe that this is an exellent movie. The changed and edited versions are no match at all. I'm glad we BSSM lovers in America (and other places too :) have these for us to view. This DVD, as well as the others, are very interesting, with good animation, and of course, Naoko Takeuchi's brilliance shines bold and true! If you're a moonie, even a new one, you'll love these! I'm fifteen and i still love BSSM! I honestly think there is never an age limit to enjoying anime. Especially since the type of anime varies quite largely. So if you're feeling unsure because you think that you're "too old for this stuff" come on! Crawl outta your shell and stand up for whatcha love! This is a great DVD! Go ahead and buy it!

Summary: Sailor Moon is Great Dubbed and Subbed!
Review: I believe the voice actors of the English dubb would have been just as convincing as their Japanese counterparts if the North American version kept the story intact without the glaring issues you wouldn't tell a three year old about.(which I won't mention). They could have translated the story and still keep it suitable for younger audiences while the uncut version be available to the otaku ages 15 and older( to be more specific mature people).Terri Hawkes would have been a very convincing Usagi/Serena and Tracey Hoyt a very cute Chibiusa/Rini. Stephani Beard would have been an adorable Diana.I think the new voice actors stink. Lita is the only original actress. Mina's original voice actress would have been just as convincing. The show overall regardless of format is still cool. I recommend the sub version. Due to the bad voice acting. I urge the dub be an offering the for youngsters.

Summary: Loved This Season
Review: I have actually seen the entire run of Sailor Moon in its original Japanese, and I personally loved this particular season. Hotaru is one of my favorite characters. She's not what she seems. There are several different personalities in her all at once. She appears weak but in fact is very powerful. Her friendship with Chibi-Usa is very touching. Many of these episodes are very touching, but only in their original Japanese with English subtitles. When it was dubbed, it lost a great deal of its seriousness, as if America is afraid that an animated tv show should have any sort of value or that it should in any way relate to real feelings. Of course the whole concept of Sailor Moon in the literal sense isn't believable, but when she's Usagi, she's definitely a normal teenage girl with many hopes and dreams, just like many girls her age. So if you're going to watch the last few seasons of Sailor Moon, do yourself a favor and watch it in its original Japanese with English subtitles.

Summary: ExCELLENT-BEST ONE
Review: I love the heart collection of Sailor moon, and i have to say, this is my favorite of all the sailor moon DVDS out there. It pretty much reminds me of my summer of 2004 cuz basically, i spent my entire summer with my friend Liz, watching Sailor moon. Anyway, in this DVD u meet Hotaru, a quiet girl, with a somewhat depressing air around her, and Setsuna(Who happens to be Sailor pluto) a serious and hard working woman with a soft side for Chibi-usa. The episodes are excellent, and my favorite is dfiantly the second and 1st. The first is hilrious! At least in Liz and I's opinion. And the second one is SOOOOOO sad! We were crying! WE never cry over anytihng, but we were really crying! Anyway, i hope this review helped!
