Summary: Has Some of the Best Art I've Seen
Review: The movie's greatest feature is the art. It has sort of a glossy look to it. But don't get me wrong; a lot of the events arn't pretty. Never, I repeat, never watch the very beginning. Just fast forward through it. Basically, you see a sword-fight on a Shinjuku (name of city) between the main character's father and the villain. Kyoya's father has his legs ripped off and he is impaled. Don't watch it. Just don't look. If ya' ask me the only person that enjoys that sort of thing is a SICK one. (I got the picture and didn't look) Rest of the movie's Ok. Yeah, there's blood and gore. After the 1st scene, the only thing that made me sick was when you see the shadow of an alley cat get torn to 4 pieces. But, hey, it was really suspenceful and eerie. Next to "Beautiful Dreamers" it was the most surreal anime I have ever seen. But don't worry--it isn't full of trippy images and flash-backs. Those annoy me sometimes. It's worth a try and if you stomached Akira you can take it. I'm going to watch it again sometime.

Review: This animation movie seemed to have condensed the Japanese comic book edition that left people lost if they have not read the comic book series. Overall, the movie was not bad.

Review: This film had alot of ALMOST'S in it. it was almost good, the characters were almost likable. It did have a good "feel" to it, the intangible feeling you get when you watch a truly good movie. However there were too many negatives for it to be truly any good. ....The only character that stood out was Mephisto and he ruled. The last issue i had with this movie was its sound distracted from the feel of the movie. I would suggest this only to long time watchers of anime, a starting watcher might be turned away from the genre with this movie

Review: This is a very entertaining movie but with many many flaws. First I'll get all the bad stuff out of the way. The dubbing stinks. The voices are fake and are not in synch with character talking. The animation is complete [garbage]. IF you watch this movie after princess mononoke you feel like your watching something in the 50's.Much of the movie is shot in still screen. They show the same picture continuously and the people still talk. It's only 45 minutes long And it feels like its rushed, they only say the most crucial things to the story line so you can't blink or you need to press the rewind button.
With that out of the way this is a very fun movie. It's very intense for time its running(short). The story is hard to follow but pretty good ( i watched this movie four times and I still don't COMPLETELY get it) The action is excellent. It's got all kinds. Martial arts, Spear, gun, robot and ariel dog fighting.
You'll probably be confused with whos the good guy and whos the bad. (I am).
This is definitely worth the rent. You decide wether you want to buy it.

Summary: Wanted: Plot for cheap anime $10,000 reward
Review: This movie is typical of american released anime. The animation is nice, but I've seen a lot better, including american animation(noooo, not that) like the saturday morning batman. Movies usually do have plots, which this is missing. The only attraction that I see the the backrounds in the animation, which put you in a magical mysterious world, but that can also be found in other anime with a storyline and beautiful animation. Did you see the anime episode off road rules? I'm sure they whipped this dub up as cheap as that, to shove onto american shelves and make tons of ignorance spawned money.

Summary: Genuis? Not Quite. Forgettable? Absolutely.
Review: This video was lent to me by a friend of mine, and on a first viewing, a really enjoyed the animation. I wouldn't say that it was... Akira quality, but it was pretty good.
However, good animation cannot mask a total lack of everything else. The story was okay, it lost me after the first half hour, but I got back into it again later on. There was not a whole lot of fluid animation, however, it was very detailed.
What's the problem with it?
To be perfectly honest, I can't remember anything else. The characters are boring and quite frankly, I didn't give a crap about their well-being. They didn't stand out, and now, a month after viewing, I STILL can't remember their names. I can't remember the point of the story, let alone why the big demon poobah wanted to take over- wait. What WAS his motive, anyway?
Overall, you'll probably forget most if not all of the movie a while after watching it. The animation sticks with you, but nothing else.
If you want demon action, try a real classic, like Princess Mononoke.

Review: this was a waste of money.its ok to be honest. theyre really isnt a plot. the bad guy dies way too easily and was dumb. and the good guy gets his fathers powers in a really dumb way.when i saw it i thought then whats is the purpose of training? there isnt really any real cool fighting parts. in other word the fighting parts were lame. the dubbing accents in english was ok except for the southern accent somebody had. no plot and needed alot of improvements. this is NOT one for an anime collection, and NOT even near ninja scroll.

Review: To me, I think this movie was very cool. At first, I was like, "What the heck?" but then I got to understand it. This is the type of movie that you have to see 2 or 3 times to fully understand it. It does have action in it so that's good. Barely any romance but you do know that the lead guy and girl fall in love. In my opinon, I think it was a good movie.

Review: When I first saw this movie I fell in love with it. The opening scene just got me hooked. Who wouldn't love to see a dual in the beginning of a movie? From there it just got better.
