Summary: Fun, and sweet- if not very traditional.
Review: This is a VERY cute series which I think both adults and kids can enjoy, and would be great for parents to watch with their children. Each episode is about 8 minutes long and has kind of Looney Tunes-like slapstick humor (with a unique Japanese flavor, of course!) It's not related to the OVA series, film or manga much at all, it really just contains "mini" versions of the goddesses having fun little adventures. Unlike the series, Belldandy plays a much smaller role in this series so you can look forward to spending more time with her sisters than we did in the past.

The DVD set is a great deal, buying each DVD alone is usually just over $20- so if you want to buy you might as well plunge in with this set. It's a great little break for anime fans from the really violent and serious stuff, and an appropriate and fun series for younger viewers who like cartoons.
