Summary: Watched it once... bought the rest of the series immediately
Review: The four episodes on this DVD are just an intriging warmup... If you like slow moving anime and not a ton of action this is for you... if your looking for Fist of Northstar anime this is probably not for you. The best comparison I can make is probably Aeon Flux.

Summary: Awsome animation
Review: The story is great, it pulled me in as soon as I saw it. There is an awsome song in the begining credits too, by a japanesse band called BOA. The story is about a young shy girl who tries to fit in Junior High, I think all of us had that problem when we were growing up. But there is something misterious about her because others believe she is leading a double life. Although, she is totally unaware of it. Did I also mention that this animation has a little sci-fi and a misterious suicide. Finally in the last episode you will be left wondering about her discovery of her unknown secret life, which is really cool. I am not going to say more and I believe I kept most of the mistery so you can find out for yourself. The animation is superb, and the quality is excellent. Unlike those pokemon cartoons which use bright unworldly colors. All I have to say is that I hope you fall in love with the story as I DID. But don't take my word for it.(a little "Reading Rainbow" quote)

Summary: Incredible Re-Watch Value
Review: WOW! I've never seen an anime this original or mindblowing before. No SUPER-Humans, no evil nemesis, no robot armor. Just a chilling and peculiar story following a small teenage girl. I've watched this DVD about 5 times, and I'm still discovering new aspects of the film. I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of Knights!

Summary: Oh, my god, my dreams have come true!
Review: This anime rocks like you wouldn't beleive. The music has me searching the net for the mp3's, the story leaving me begging for more, and visuals that blow my mind. I'm still trying to figure out what was happening, even after seeing it a few times! Five stars?! ONLY five?! What's up with that? This deserves way more then FIVE stars! I could go on and on about this, but i'm still trying to download the opening theme!

Summary: By far one of the coolest Anime I have ever seen.
Review: As soon as you see the opening of the series, you're hooked. The beautiful animation paired with the unsettling melody of the opening song is enough to make you want to watch this movie. And it only gets better. Lain's world is a disturbing vision of our own, where the lines between our 'wired' world and real one are becoming blured over time. Lain is a young girl who is caught in the middle of the confusion, and she has some strange connection with the Wired world. Everyone who liked "The Matrix", get this movie.

Summary: Get Connected
Review: This is without a doubt one of the most BIZARRE works of anime that I have seen. It is also one of the most intriguing. When done with this (the first four episodes), you will want more!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Excellent New-generation Anime!
Review: Even thought the first couple of episodes are a bit slow, the imagery is fantastic! The story really started to pick up at the middle of the third episode, and after finishing the fourth, I can't wait to get the next set!!

I have never seen anything quite like this, and I must say that this is worth seeing. Don't compare this to X-files, Ghost in the shell, or anything else: In my opinion, this series is a genre all to itself. Believe me, I am pretty critical of everything I see, and this series has really peaked my interest!

Summary: Cant wait to see the rest of this series!!!!!
Review: All I can say is that I have already ordered the rest of the series, Lain-Knights and pre-ordered Lain-Deus. This movie is very wierd, the story unravels slowly but it keeps you hooked. I have not seen another anime like it, and I have watched alot. Very unique, very dark...very addicting.
