Summary: Much better then the First!!!
Review: This movie was much better then the first one. This is the first anime i have seen thats better in the english version then the japenese version. It is a must have for any Ranma fan. The only problem with it is that there is too much showing of the girls (if u know what i mean) The first one wasn't like that and because of that. now i can not show it in my schools anime club. A sham yes but i can't complain on normal standards. It seems to have too much in comon with the first one. For instance, Akane is kidnaped and is chosen to be someone's bride, The kidnaper is a prince of a place few have heard of, and in the end they become friends. (also Kuno and his boat) Although i can't get by the fact that it was better then the first. I mean lots more action, and the fights are longer, plus Ranma isn't the only one u get to see fight. Buy it, laugh, and enjoy.

Summary: Ranma is the ultimate in fighting, changing, and romance!
Review: When a series revolves around a group of martial artists who change into various animals or humans with a splash of cold water, then you know craziness will ensue! And it's not just the gender-switching and shape-shifting; those characters that are fortunate enough to keep their own bodies all the time are still wild enough for this show!

Ranma and his comrades are on vacation when they stumble across a mysterious island ruled by a child prince who wishes to find the perfect girl and make her his bride. Therefore, he kidnaps all of the girls within several miles--and that includes the ladies of Ranma's entourage! Now it's up to the boys and Cologne to get the girls back! But there's more on this island than just dozens of lovely young ladies, and those cursed with the Jusenkyo water are desparate to get their hands on it...

This is an excellent addition to the Ranma universe and I urge each and every one of you to go and see it.

Summary: The Best Ranma Movie Yet
Review: You've already read the blurb from the movie case, so allow me to skip straight to the review.
If you are new to the world of anime, you might have to read the character bios included with the DVD extras or consult a Ranma fan to get up to speed with what's going on between some of the characters. Even so, my friends have enjoyed it, and I dare say most anime fans will.
If you are a Ranma fan who hasn't seen this movie, what are you waiting for? It's everything you like about Ranma, whether you like the action, comedy, or the various disfunctional romances between the characters. Present and accounted for are just about all your favorite characters, Ranma's high-speed Katchuu-Tenshin-Amaguri-Ken technique, Ryoga's rock-shattering Bakusai Tenketsu, his depression-powered Shishi Hokoudan, Mousse's hidden weapons and bulldog determination, and the hilarious bickering between Ranma and Akane.
The biggest complaint most anime fans would have about the Ranma series is the often poor English voice-casting, acting, dubbing, etc., but that's the beauty of a dual-language DVD. Having first watched it in English, then in Japanese (with subtitles), I have to agree that the Japanese voice actors did a much better job of representing what I had imagined the characters should sound like. With the DVD, you can watch it both ways and decide for yourself.
In short, this movie is a good introduction to what there is to like about Ranma 1/2, and an excellent addition to the collection of anyone who is already a fan. Recommended for ages 13 and up due to brief nudity.
