Summary: One Of The Best Veggie Videos
Review: This is one of the best in the series. The music is top notch and the lesson about greed is very valuable. I really enjoyed the Stuff Mart segments (I don't suppose that it reminds you of a certain retailer, does it?) and the thankfulness song is touching.

Summary: This one is our favorite
Review: I like all the Veggie Tales videos, but this one is the favorite at our house. My 2.5 year old son is crazy about it, and we think it has the most relevant story, given that you can't go out without being bombarded into thinking you need to buy "things". This is a GREAT video with good songs.

Summary: Great for any age!
Review: This is one of the better installments in the Veggie Tales series. Madame Blueberry learns a valuable lesson about greed. She isn't happy and thinks it's because she doesn't have enough stuff. Then, a Stuff-Mart (a great Wal-Mart knock-off) opens up down the road. Through Madame Blueberry's quest for more stuff she realizes that all the stuff in the world won't make her happy. What she wants is a happy and thankful heart. She realizes this a little too late and loses her treehouse but is still thankful for the lesson she learned. In this age of "gotta have it all", this is a great way to show kids that having a lot of "stuff" won't buy happiness. Through excellent writing and some great songs, including the Stuff-Mart rap, the people at Big Idea have created another video that is multi-generational. Even adults will come away thinking about the need for "stuff". This video also includes the song, My Cheeseburger, a temporary replacement to the Silly Songs with Larry. Be sure to listen during the scene in the Stuff-Mart food court for the muzak version. Too funny!

Review: Madame Blueberry tells the story of a rich blueberry who lives in a tree house. Even though she has all she could ever want, she still wants more. Then, a Stuff-Mart is built near her house, and representatives visit her and convince her to buy lots of stuff. She wrestles with her conscience and tries to decide whether she really need all of that stuff. Highlights of the movie are the Stuff-Mart reps' song, "I'm So Blue", and the thankful song. An excellent movie all the way around.

Summary: "Deliciously Funny" indeed!
Review: Loosely based upon the circumstances surrounding the death of Madame Du Barry, the official mistress of King Loius XV, but with a modern (and far less grim) twist. A treehouse-dwelling, greedy blueberry, searching for happiness, wishes to have all the same "stuff" that her neighbors have. Opportunity knocks (literally) when a Stuff-Mart opens down the street! En route to the store, she encounters a family who has nearly nothing. The little girl thanks God for her birthday dinner of oatmeal and one small piece of apple pie. How can this little girl be so happy when she has almost nothing? Later, when Madame and her butlers (Bob and Larry) lounge in the food court, we see what happens when little Jr. Asparagus doesn't get the toy train he wants. Suddenly Madame realizes what these two children have that she does not...a happy heart! Madame learns that you can't buy a happy heart, but not in time to save her treehouse from being shattered! In a world where our children are bombarded by messaages telling them they should want more, more, more, this video encourages us all to be thankful for what we have. Of course, one should not expect a video alone to teach our children these values. Rather than the ususal "Silly Songs with Larry", this tape features "Love Songs with Mr. Lunt"... (don't worry, Larry's not gone for good, he's back on "Silly Songs 2: The end of silliness?) This makes a good opportunity to learn about appreciating diversity! Mr. Lunt is no Larry, but this song is silly indeed.

Summary: A fun story with a moral
Review: This Veggie Tale introduces the new, and irritating character, of Madame Blueberry who simply isn't happy even though she owns everything.When a Stuff-Mart opens down the street she thinks that buying more will make her happy. Again, the Veggie Tales crew has created a fun video for children with a moral lesson. The "Stuff-Mart Rap" song in this video is very enjoyable. I found this video slightly less entertaining, or humorous, as some of the others, but it's still a very good video for children.

Summary: Veggies teach even older kids
Review: 19 years old, and yet this video taught me a lesson. REally, it did! I also found this video to be one of the best ones in the series. The songs are great, the plot is tight, and the message is solid. It's my personal favorite, and I think that nearly everyone can learn something from this video on the problems of materialism.

Summary: More laughs and lessons from VeggieTales!
Review: This video has a very important lesson for children who live in today's greedy world: you can't get a thankful heart from the stuff you buy. We really enjoyed this show, and Mr. Lunt's silly song was great! Hearing it again as Bob, Larry, and Madame Blueberry ate lunch at the StuffMart made me smile all over again! Thanks again for laughs and lessons.

Summary: Au contraire, mon frere - the BEST of all Veggie Tales!
Review: This is the first Veggie Tales tape my family saw, and it's still our favorite. The message -- that "a thankful heart is a happy heart" -- is so simple, so poignant, and so true that it made this very secular Mom stop and think long and hard about values. Also, (spoiler here!) my 2-year-old likes the part where the house flies off the tree.

Summary: The worst of all Veggie Tales
Review: I will rate this video via my 4 yr olds expression after watching about 5 minutes of the video. "This is crazy" was his comment as he had this look of anger and confusion on his face. I could hardly understand any of it. The French accents made it nearly impossible for an adult to understand. I can understand why my son requested another veggie tale video be inserted.
