Summary: 4th is da Bomb!!
Review: In the 4th session -- THEY'RE OUTTA FOOD!! In "My Funny Valentine", a little bit more is revealed about Faye's shrouded past. Things get weird when she's reunited with an old friend. Jets gotta kick some outlaw hind in "Black Dog Serenade", when he and an old partner hammer down on some renegade criminals. This episode is tight!!
Everyone is high in "Mushroom Samba". Jet's talkin' to his plants,Spike is on the stairway to heaven, and Faye is swimmin' in the toilet. It's up to Ed to stop the bad guys and get some food. Faye's past keeps coming together in "Speak Like a Child",when Spike and Jet come across a 20th Century(VERY rare)VHS.
Overall, this session is a good one to just kick back and relax to. It's really funny too.

Summary: Mushroom Samba.
Review: The most hilarious episode of any anime, ever. Even funnier than "Toys in the Attic".
Okay, maybe I wouldn't go that far, but if you think Ed was funny to begin with, you obviously have never seen this episode. It was hysterical. I laughed for thirty minutes straight.

Summary: Once you tried, you're hooked on forever
Review: The music is still perfect, the animation pretty neat (i mean very good) and the scenarios unbelievable but cool! After I saw Evangelion, I thought I would not be thrilled by an anime for a long time: I WAS WRONG! COWBOY BEBOP SIMPLY RULES!

Summary: Possibly my Favorite Bebop Disk . . .
Review: This could very well be my absolute Favorite Bebop disk in the set. Why? Because of Black Dog Serenade. Not to say that the other episodes aren't fantastic . . . they are. Mushroom Samba in hysterical, and the two Faye episodes are incredible. My Funny Valentine was a real heart wrencher . . . however, I'm still partial to Black Dog. I think it's because SO much of this series is centered around the charismatic Spike, Jet sometimes gets overlooked. This episode really brings him to the forefront and exposes him for the deep character that he is . . . I can honestly say after watching this that I understood Jet a whole hell of a lot better than before. Even though there had been 3 disks full of him, Black Dog really helped me delve into the man who had been a wee bit overshadowed.

Bebop as a whole is phenomenal . . . I loved the characters, the music (which is some of my absolute FAVORITE music - go Space Lyon), and the visuals. I would recommend this to anybody - and that's saying something. Before Cowboy Bebop, I was not impressed with too much anime. My introduction to the genre had been a 3 hour marithon of Dominion Tank Police and I thought I would howl in agony. However, an anime' loving friend of mine introduced me to Escaflowne and Bebop - both of these series were done by the same people. Since then, I have gotten back into the genre a bit and have found some true gems.

Buy this disk . . . if you're doubting it, buy it and then contact me if you hate it and I'll buy your used disk from you. That's how sure I am that you will get into these 4 episodes.

"I close my eyes and I keep seeing things/Rainbow Waterfalls/Sunny Liquid Dreams/Confusion creeps inside me raining down/Gotta get to you/Won't you show me how . . . "

Summary: Not much for extras, but the epiosdes make up
Review: This DVD contains four cool epsiodes that are too cool! The first has Faye reminise about a boyfriend she use to have. She finds him again and then things turn around a little. The second episode has Jet and his old partner stopping a riot on a prison ship. The most coolest part was when Uhdai slit I guys neck and the blood sprays out. The third episode was incredible. I won't tell you how it starts, but nearing the end theres a train chase scene where Ed is after a Jamican, an afro dude is after the Jamican and a big breasted women in a huge afro is after the Jamaican. The fourth epiosde was ok. A tape arrives that has Fayes past on it. Jet and Spike go deeper to actually watch it. Well, the story doesn't really go anywhere, the fights scenes are minimal and the ending is forced. But that's what they said in the preivew for it anyway. The only extra is a music video featuring a slower version of Tank. If you really like Bebop, BUY THIS NOW! or, as the Shaft said in Mushroom Samba,EAT THIS FOO!

Summary: Great show!
Review: This DVD is worth getting for 'Mushroom Samba' alone. In the midst of the occasional darkly drear stories we get a glimpse of humour and fun and on this DVD it's the last ep.

Ed's my favourite and she has some excellent scenes too! One of those rare animes where the dub is almost as good as the sub! Really!! Ed's voice actor is stunning, capturing this eccentric young crazy perfectly.

Summary: If you love music and sci-fi then this is the title for you!
Review: This is a great combination of music, action, great stories and extraordinary characters. I personally sold my VHS and started to buy this series when it came out on DVD. I wasn't disappointed. This disc contains eps. 14-17!

The crew of the Bebop unravels more mysteries in their quest for making a living. Faye and Jet learn that the past isn't always what you remember, and Ed and Ein strike out on their own in one of the funniest adventures yet...

Summary: Chicanery, Action, Mushrooms and Mayhem= Perfection
Review: This is an amazing series with humor, action and likeable characters. It is tightly plotted and beautifully directed. The scenes are a fabulous interaction of animation and computer graphics, much better than "Blue Submarine 6." I've never seen anything quite like it, although, frankly, Spike is reminiscent of Miyazaki's Lupin. The bounty hunter aspect adds interest, as all the characters are brought together, yet cannot forget always looking out for number one.

The soundtrack is also fabulous, with Yoko Kanno (Macross Plus, Please Save My Earth) producing. All this combined with a Western edge and sardonic humor is enough to make me wish there were more than 6 DVDs.

This DVD is one of the most humorous thus far, as Faye's forgotten (thankfully in one case) past, Ed's Magic Mushrooms and the mystery of Jet's missing arm all provide fascinating viewing, another grand layer to add to the storyline of the Bebop. However, I think that it can be watched seperately from the other 3 DVDs. I just don't advise it; it's like getting on a rollercoaster halfway through the ride.

I'm gonna throw out my pet peeve here: Japanese Anime is NOT for children. Pokemon, yes; Miyazaki, Shirow, Watanabe - no. Just because it's a cartoon does not mean it's appropriate.

Summary: A must see!
Review: This is one of the best(possibly even the best) animes ever made! Every anime fanatic really should see this! I highly reccomend DVD 4! The funniest episode is Mushroom Samba!
