Summary: Great voices
Review: This Blue's Clues video is awesome! I am 13 and I love watching it with my little cousins and the kids I baby-sit for. Matt Ballinger (from Dream Street)'s voice is in this and it is awesome. That is the reason why I got this for the kids to watch. Matt rocks and so does Blue!

Summary: Tape would better than this ..
Review: Well, my 2 years old daughter loves that replay of this DVD contents though... Everything in this DVD and extra contents are quite impressive works from Blue's team. However I ran this disk in PC for some more features, the trouble begins...

If anyone who purchase this for normal DVD player and dolby sound environment, it is great title for your kids.
If anyone who use HTPC for some more quality out from this, and use some more features from the disk, it would fail to achive what you intended...

Included software called PC Friendly thing does not work properly in some situation and interactive game is not very easy works to do when your kids are not well acquainted with PC yet...

As a result of that, I just recorded this DVD to S-VHS tape and play back to my kid is more simple task than what it plays back from HTPC environments or DVD player....

Overall, the contents itself is very satisfactory, and included softwares are very annoying...

Summary: Half an hour to... HOUR AND A HALF?????
Review: Yep, that's right. Blue, Steve, and their house appliance friends have their own movie. For those of you who don't know, Blue's Clues is a "play-along" show that involves a dog named Blue, and her half-witted owner, Steve. Today, they are planning a musical show in their backyard. Only problem is, Blue finds that the clock, named Tickety has laryngitis and can't sing. Considering Blue only communicates through barks, she can't sing in the big show... WHICH IS THIS AFTERNOON!!! Big problem. Well, Blue has a solution to every problem like this. It's time for her to leave clues. No, not those special surprises your family dog leaves. I mean she puts pawprints on objects so Steve can find the clues which are marked on everything. From his furniture to his paintings which he can jump into by singing a "magical" rhyme and "skidoo" into the picture. But that's not the point of this show. The point is that he realizes that for the past couple of years, he can't find the clues for himself. He has to let his human pre-school friends shout out where it is. Example: Pre-schooler: A CLUE! A CLUE! Steve: What?! I need to tie my shoe? Oh, thank you. See how helpless this guy is. But, the household appliances which are alive have problems too. So Steve and his friends go find them and make a game out of it so they help their friends in a fun way. So, the question of the day is: Who should be the singer for our big show. So, everyone has problems, such as their mailbox is stuck. Remember when I told you about skidoos? Well, they skidoo into a music page to make a song. The funny part is... Ray Charles is the Key Signature! The main thing is, let your young kids adventure through this movie with Steve and friends and see if Steve actually can find a clue by himself. Your kids will enjoy this if they're young enough to not care about the cheesiness of this movie.

Summary: Elementary Music Teachers-- Check This One Out!
Review: I just happened to stumbled upon this video and thought my students would absolutely love it. It teaches music to the children on their level with examples I could never produce in the "real world". It captures imagination and holds attention while setting a good basic ground for music education. I used this in my Kindergarten, First, and Second grade classes. They all just loved it!

Summary: Love it!
Review: My daughter is enthralled with this video! She is three and a half and hardly anything keeps her attention as well as this movie does. The story moves fairly quickly, the lessons are easy to understand, and Ray Charles is great!

Summary: It's BIG, it's BLUE, it's MUSICAL!
Review: Blue's Big Musical Movie is a huge hit in our home.

Although my 6 year old is too old for it, she enjoyed Blue's Big Musical Movie quite a bit, and can still enjoy the soundtrack. My four year old thinks it’s the greatest thing ever put on tape (or DVD!). If all that weren’t enough, our 2-year-old neighbor loves it too.

Blue's Big Musical Movie is not just a long version of the TV show. It does incorporate all the familiar elements of Blue's Clues – the clues, the characters - but it elevates these things to the next level. The creators take advantage of the longer format by fleshing out the activities, and by playing out several plots simultaneously: Periwinkle's magic show, Sidetable's wish to sing, Steve's getting everything in order for the show.

Blue's Big Musical Movie features some great songs, with catchy tunes and clever lyrics. Although this is a review of the DVD, I feel obliged to mention that the soundtrack to Blue's Big Musical Movie is one that our whole family enjoys.

There are nifty bonuses like a lesson about music featuring Ray Charles - and yes, it was very helpful in teaching my kids about notes, rhythm, and tempo.

So much product aimed at kids is either entertaining or educational, and rarely both. Blue's Big Musical Movie manages to be both. Big kudos to the people behind this exceptionally good kids movie, and to Steve who is so excellent in his role.
