Summary: Amazing ending to an amazing series
Review: Wow. How else to describe this? Breathtaking, tragically beautiful, real. I've always loved animation, and only recently discovered some of the treasures of anime (having been previously turned off by Pokemon and their ilk). I could easily say (as have countless others) that this is the best anime series I've ever seen. However, I'll go a step further--this is one of the best television series I've ever seen--easily in my top 5.I'm gonna avoid any specific spoilers here, but I will share my feelings about the ending--if that may somehow spoil it for you, turn back now. I made the mistake of reading some reviews which weren't exactly "spoiler-free" (i.e., they blatantly blabbed the ending) before I saw the last two episodes, and I feared that my foreknowledge would somehow lessen the impact of everything that happens. Not a chance. This isn't about surprising people or the animators just saying "Well, we had to end it somehow." This is about real life, real people (cuz, even though they're animated, they're more three-dimensional and real than most characters you see in TV or movies), and real choices. They don't take the easy cop-out, there's no deus ex machina waiting in the wings. This got to me on an emotional level few things in recent memory have, which says a lot for characters which are, in reality, basically just lines on a page. I just can't recommend this whole series enough. Review in short:
Story: *****. The end is here, and what an ending. Every character faces, in his/her own way, their destiny.
Art: *****. Haunting, poetic, beautiful.
Acting: *****. The talents of the artists and the voice actors combine for some truly amazing performances.
Music: *****. You'll be buying the soundtracks for this, if you haven't already. Yes, I know, giving everything a 5 may seem like a bit much, but this truly deserves it. See You Space Cowboy.

Review: Well, this is the final disk of the series, well worth getting, especailly if you have altready spent the money and bought the other 5 disks like I have. Unlike most anime endings, Cowboy Bebop doesn't leave you with one finger up your nose, and another scratching your head (hopefully not both from the same hand) like the ending to Evangellion will the first time you see it, or like Akira will no matter how many times you see it. Trying not to give away the ending, I'll just say that we finally get filled in on everyone's history (okay, except for Jet and Ein), and Julia finally shows up! There, I hope that wasn't too big of a spoiler.

Summary: All the loose ends are tied up with a great big ribbon
Review: From the beginning Cowboy Bebop has surpassed my expectations and has shot down any fears I may have had about where it was going, and the final volume is no exception. By the end I was not expecting more or hoping that it was less, but was simply content and wishing that they could all end this well. No questions are left unanswered, and no loose ends are left untied. This is quite simply, one of the best endings in an anime series we have seen in a long, long time. In "Brain Scratch", Faye seemingly joins a strange cult known as Brain Scratch, but when the crew go after her, they get more than they've bargained for. Think of this episode as an appetizer and prelude of things to come. Faye continues the search for her past life in Hard Luck Woman, but when she finds what she's looking for, will anything good come of it? Saying any more would ruin the numerous surprises and revelations that lead up to the spectacular last episode.

Summary: An incredible end to an incredible series
Review: We finally get to see the culmination of the rivalry and hatred between Spike and Viscious. The ending to the series was wortht he wait. Not wanting to give anything away, the ending is heroic and bittersweet and just a tad bit depressing, but it is because of those elements that the ending is so powerful and memorable. Don't expect a happy ending. I just about cried at the end, for several reasons. If you haven't gotten the previous discs before htis one, then make sure you get them quick so you can view this one. It's well worth it.

Summary: The worst is that it's over
Review: This is the best put together anime series of all time IMO. Actually, I can't think of 10 television programs in the history of entertainment television that are better than Bebop. Cowboy Bebop is television on another level. I'm sad it's over. Some people don't like this series (like 1 in 100)...these people tend to be contrarians by nature who naturally scoff at anything that could be loved and enjoyed by so many people, spending most of their time looking at faults instead of enjoying a ride so many people have been thrilled to ride. This isn't to say that they don't have some valid criticisms of the series. Just that I don't think they're being fair...granted I'm not being fair either since I love it so much. On the other hand just look at the number of 5 star reviews. Cowboy Bebop might also not be appreciated by younger viewers.

Summary: you're never gonna see anything like it again
Review: through episode to episode i notice, cowboy bebop isn't just a show about bounty hunters, its' about life and empathy...most of the villians are not just seen as mindless people...eventually they are shown as human beings, through the various minds of the crew members on the bebop, one can explore the different opinions on life, and what it exactly is to them. cowboy bebop somehow mixes comedy, drama, action, martial arts stylish action,and a poetic feel..into one anime... this last DVD....dang.some of the sensitive hearts out there might start crying (you can get really attached to these characters)....after listening to the closing song "Blue" all you can really say is...see ya space cowboy.

Summary: WOW...BREATHTAKING...POWERFUL
Review: The amazing Anime series of Cowboy Bebop is brought to a close and what a close it is. The first episode of the DVD is a typical Bebop episode and I won't go into it...the second gives us another look into Faye's past and sets her up for the final episode...this episode also ties up the Edward and Ein story lines as we bid farewell to the two of them. But after this sweet episode comes an the ultiamte emotional rollar coaster...the final episode. The final episode continues the story arc that began in the first episode Asteroid Blues when Spike said "I have died before" and was continued in Ballad of Fallen Angels with the introduction of Vicious, and then finally began to make sense in Jupiter Jazz when we learned about the syndicate. Througout the episode we are witness to incredably powerful imagry...the rose, the graveyard, the rain...the silence. As anyone who has watched an episode of Bebop knows silence and lack of any action is just as important as conversations and action sequences...if not more important. Another wonderful theatrical tool used is mythology and story telling...which Spike and Jet do a lot in the final episode...these stories of course mirror what is going on in the episode. All of this is done wonderfully. The final five-ten minute sequence is sophisticated and breathtaking...in both story and animation. Watch the last episode with a friend. Here come thoes spoilers...what makes Cowboy Bebop superior to Americaan animation is that they are not afreaid to spill blood. The series ends with the most daring scene I have ever seen any TV show end with...animation or live action...the death of our main character, Spike. But Bebop fans rejoice...there is a motion picture in the works apparently set during the series, so all our favorites will be there Spike, Jet, Faye, Ed, and of course Ein...and I have just learned that a new Bebop series is in the works but no information has yet to be released. See ya later space cowboy...

Summary: Profound, compelling... I wish it didn't end good!!!
Review: The real folk blues concludes the series with such a *spoiler* yet perfect ending. The scenes, emotions and overall effect of the last disk is mind wrapping. The music is also wonderful, I spent about 3 minutes staring at the screen, dumbfounded and awe struck, listening to BLUE. It felt like 30 minutes... Ahh...you must see it to see what I mean!! ^_^ Boy, if there was an anime award show, Bebop will grab best direction, best plot, best music, and the most stylish. Lol. Truly an amazing series.

Summary: Beyond Hollywood.
Review: Cowboy Bebop has been fantastic, from start to finish. At no point has it been formulaic, and even episodes like Toys in the Attic have a special craft of their own. That said, this final installment blows everything out of the water. One does not appreciate The Real Folk Blues until one witnesses Spike, Faye, Jet, and to a lesser degree Ed and Ein, come to terms with who they are and what they have to do. Every choice has it's ramifications, every character loses their secret, and in the end they all have to be true to their nature. The series comes full circle, focusing on the mysterious life of the Space Cowboy with two different colored eyes and the past he can't escape. Bang.
