Summary: Say goodbye to the Bebop gang
Review: After you watch this DVD, Bebop is over, actually there is a movie that has been released in Japan. I am left with a heavy heart after watching the final 4 episodes of this wonderful series. It will be awhile before I watch them again because the last couple of episodes are so intense that they frayed my nerves.Episode 23: This is a pretty interesting episode. The other anime series that kept coming to my mind as I watched it was Serial Experiments Lain. It deals with a new religion cult, strong shades of the Aum Shinrikyou, led by a charismatic leader called Londes who promises through a video game system that people can escape their worldly bodies. A very interesting episode and quite sad also. Has its funny moments such as when Edward plays as Jet's daughter. Episode 24: In this episode we meet Ed's father, but that is only really a side story. This episode mainly deals with the lovely Faye Valentine who after watching the beta tape many times seems to remember a sculpture of a lion. Ed knows where the sculpture is and takes Faye there. She meets an old school mate, who is now a grandmother. Sad episode. We say goodbye to a couple of friends in this episode. Episode 25 and 26. The end of the series. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time i watched these couple of episodes. It begins with a failed coup by Vicious. We also meet Julia, finally. I can't go into much because I don't want to ruin the end for anyone who hasn't seen it. Get this series. If you think of anime as just cartoons. It is not. This series proves it. This sho is more emotional and involved than most live action programs. mite kudasai yo.

Summary: Not a huge anime fan but this is awesome......
Review: My brother is a big anime fan and for awhile he tried to get me into it. Nothing really struck me as great, save a few. Cowboy Bebop is one of those few. I would watch his anime every once in a while never really getting into it until he showed me Cowboy Bebop on Cartoon Network months ago. I thought it was cool but was too busy to watch it consistently. Fast Forward to this summer where I decided I would watch the whole series having nothing really to do anyway. I started with the movie which hasn't been in the US yet. It was excellent and I started to watch the series in order. I got hooked thinking it was just pretty cool. Finally it came down to the last four episodes and having watched the majority on TV or on computer I decided to buy the Session 6 DVD because I liked the dubbing so much. Let me tell you it was well worth the money, especially for the last 2 episodes. The last two episodes made Cowboy Bebop not only my favorite anime series, but I realized it was my favorite series of all time. This is something to be said considering up until then the only series that came close to my favorite was the Simpsons. I really didn't have a favorite. I won't spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen the last 2 episodes, but few things choke me up. The Real Folk Blue part 2 did. The only other DVDs to ever bring a tear to my eyes are the ending of Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, and when Boromir dies in Lord of the Rings. A TV series has never done this before to me.
I strongly recommend to go and buy this if your a fan of excellence among entertainment as well as the rest of the series. I'm working on buying the series too. Words of suggestion: 3,2,1, Let's Jam.

Review: this was truly one of the best series EVER (animated & non animated)for those who watched the previous 5 discs, you won't be disapointed in the final 4 sessions..then again real folk blues pt.2 was the finite epidsode and the most shocking for all who cared about spike spiegal. i'm still in shock. the series pays homage to sci fi movies like blade runner as well as the martial arts legend BRUCE LEE. (notice how spike's fight scenes look vagley familiar?) the characters are diverse in cultre as well as personalityand even the english voice dubs are very good.
the jazz like intro kicks ass. glad i discovered this cool anime, sad it ended so tragically.

Review: A tear is brought to my eyes just thinking about it. This is anime, but not a cartoon. Not ment for really young children. On this disc
I didn't even let myself go to the bathroom. I could've paused it ,but I just wouldn't let myself. The story is amazing as well as capturing. I was stunned at the end, shocked that this wonderful anime ended so dramatically. Ed was my favorite overall character. Story = 5 stars Spike was my favorite to learn more of his past. Faye was next in line. Plot = 5 stars The events just seemed to flow perfectly together. Characters = 5 stars All the characters were great and well developed. Also CB had so many differen't characters. Overall = 5 stars This is a very in depth anime. You must understaind the characters to get the whole story. This is an anime that if you don't allready have you should. You might be able to catch it on Adult Swim, but it might be a while.

Summary: THE MOST POWERFUL ANIMATED FEATURE EVER PRODUCED
Review: After seeing all 5 sessions of Cowboy Bebob, I didn't know if I even wanted the series to end or not. After waiting a few months, I finally forced myself to by this exquisite DVD. After watching the last 4 episodes, I was so deeply moved by the finale ("The Real Folk Blues" Parts 1 & 2) that tears came from my eyes. Director Shinichiro Watanabe has put so much love and thought into this series, that I encourage you to watch every episode of the show. However funny, sad, or painful Cowboy Bebop maybe, it a sets a definite new standard for animation. The cartooning is superb and the animation is absolutely extoardinary. From the mischievious hacker Edward to Spike Spiegel, anyone can tell that a huge amount of work was put into designing this series. The plots and complex characters are unforgettable. The last 2 episodes are unquestionably the best of Cowboy Bebop, but don't watch them until you've seen the whole series. I've seen a lot of anime, but nothing was as striking as Cowboy Bebop and I'm sure the series will be enjoyed by generations to come.

Summary: Cowboy Bebop's final episodes
Review: Cowboy Bebop is, in this reviewer's opinion, the finest series that anime currently has to offer. The animation is top-notch, the writing is consistently excellent, the English voice work is amazingly good, and the soundtrack (provided by Yoko Kanno) is absolutely brilliant throughout the entire series. It's a pity that the series had such a short run-- what's available in these six DVD volumes constitutes the entire twenty-six episode series. Nevertheless, this is one series every anime fan must have, and a series I would also recommend to fans of TV shows such as Miami Vice. Cowboy Bebop's basic structure allows each episode to be a full-fledged story all its own, with the main characters-- Spike, Jett, Faye, and Edward-- serving to connect them all. While there is a consistency to the entire series outside of the characters-- mainly concerning each character's exploration of his/her identity-- this is a more episodic anime series than something such as Evangelion, and yet far less formulaic than Dragon Ball Z and its brethren. I cannot stress how incredibly good the writing is here-- each episode is a self-contained story full of integrity: sometimes dramatic, sometimes sad, sometimes funny, but always effective each time without sacrificing any of the show's core values. Each DVD disc in this series is a bargain-- five episodes per disc for Volumes One and Two, and four episodes per disc thereafter. Extras are limited, but the video quality is outstanding, and both Japanese/English tracks are provided, with English subtitles. The English voice acting is very impressive-- dialogue is still intelligent following the translation, lip synching is dead-on, and the voice actors are almost as endearing as the characters they portray. If you've watched the other episodes of this show leading up to this final volume, I daresay that this volume will drive home my earlier point that this show deserved a longer run. Volume Six is phenomenal and features a definitive conclusion to the series, for each character. It also features perhaps the best music in the series-- this was the volume that finally drove me to begin purchasing the soundtracks, beginning with the album "Blue" which contains most of the music from these final episodes. If you're prepared to witness the end of this series, order this now, and Godspeed.

Summary: a painfully fitting ending...
Review: *sigh* it comes down to this... the end of the road with cowboy bebop... THE most artistic and original anime series to date. I'm not going to say that its everything we were hoping for for our favorite bounty hunters, but i will say its a fitting ending... a shocking bitter sweet ending but a fitting ending none the less. Spike sums it up nicely in the last line of the series... "Bang"

Review: Wow. After I finished Trigun, I did not expect any other anime to meet its caliber. The story, the music, the characters; they all complemented each other perfectly. I began to watch Cowboy Bebop after I began to save more money. I had heard much praise from many anime publications and otaku before and it was hard for me to believe the incredible hype. But that all changed when I put in the DVD and watched it. First Volume 1. Then 2. Then 3. Till I saw it all. The story revolves around 4 (5 if you count Ein the Data Dog!) central characters. Jet Black, an ex member of the Inter Solar Systems Police with a cybernetic arm due to a shady event in his past. Faye Valentine, a sexy woman in incalculable debt and an unknown history. Ed, a 13 year-old super-hacker extraordinaire. Last but not least, Spike Spiegel, a laid-back twenty-something that has incredible flight skills and fighting talent with a tragic past. Almost all the episodes are independent but a couple include bits and pieces of a character's past. These can range from being very comedic, cryptic, action-packed, or dramatic. The beauty of it all is how all the episodes seem to be unrelated yet are all strung together with an invisible thread, all building to the final climax(es if you refer to each character's resolve). This 6th and final 'session' is probably my favorite. 'Brain Scratch,' the first episode on the disc, is alright but cannot compare to the emotional roller-coaster ahead. 'Hard-Luck Woman' deals with the discovery of Faye's past as well as Ed's. However, the real highlight of this DVD are episodes 25 and 26: "The Real Folk Blues Part 1 and 2." Spike, after years of searching, is finally reunited with his lost love Julia. But with Vicious, Spike's one-time friend, not far behind, will the couple enjoy a happy ending or will it all come to a bittersweet end? With amazing character designs from Yoji Shinkawa (Metal Gear Solid 2) and a diverse and touching score by Yoko Kanno (Escaflowne), this is one anime you cannot miss. From the shadowy start to the awe-inspiring conclusion, Cowboy Bebop has set a benchmark in anime for all those to come.

Summary: Animated series masterpiece
Review: After picking up the first DVD on a whim, and continuing on a heartfelt and tragic journey of Cowboy Bebop, to the great, but bitter-sweet ending, I have enjoyed every moment I spent with Spike, Faye, Edward, Ein and Jet. The story line was totally enthralling and intricate, the past meet and was greeted well with the present. There was humor, tragedy, failure, horror, sacrifice, love, all elements of not only a superb anime, but of real life. The animation was also great giving a visual treat to the enchanting story line and characters. The integration of computer graphic and cartoon animation was excellent. Every character was memorable, especially Spike, Jet, and Vicious, they make themselves a place in your mind where you will never be able to forget them. I highly recommend this series from beginning to end, take a ride on the Cowboy Bebop...and remember the words See you Space Cowboy.

Summary: Saved the Best for last...
Review: This DVD is awesome, because it finishes the series and really does save the best for last. 23: Brain Scratch: Funny episode about cult worship, the nature of mankind, the nature of God (very insightful), and the nature of death. Watch and be interested, but beware if you have some sort of faith (most animers don't have any issues here) 24: Hard Luck Woman: Ed/Faye-isode. Faye finally remembers her entire past (and the truth is much less exciting than she'd like it to be) and Ed leaves (YAY!), this is her last episode with the crew of the Bebop. 25: Real Folk Blues (part 1): Sets up the end of the series, introduces Julia as a real character (Spike's woman from his memories), but otherwise acts just like a regular episode. Good, but not great. 26: Real Folk Blues (part 2): Best episode in the series, and also the greatest 25 minutes in all of animated history. If you don't agree, you're a chode. I'm not going to ruin anything (I have a feeling someone else already has on this review board), so just watch it. If you can only afford 2 DVDs in the series, wait until you can afford the full set. Don't buy "Perfect Sessions" or "Best Sessions" or whatnot, just get the full 6 DVD set. If you're splitting up your anime budget between CB and Trigun DVDs, just put all that cash to CB (if you want real convincing, read my other reviews).
