Summary: Bear is the Best
Review: My son is only 19 months and this is the first Bear video we bought. The doctor suggested that he could start to show interest in potty training and we could start any time. We bought this video and a potty chair and he loves it. It talks about accidents without putting pressure and how if you stop what you are doing to go potty, it will still be there when you get back. It goes over how to tell a grown up you have to go potty and what to do if you need to go and you are in a strange place. We have a long way to go before he is actually potty trained but he loves "bear" and the "potty video". His interest is definitely there now!

Summary: Entertaining, thoughtful video
Review: Very well done potty training video -- not explicit, but execellent "theory" approach. The Toileteers song is kind of fun as well. The kids actually request this video, unlike the other potty training videos they have seen.

Summary: Bear says what I've been saying for months, and she listens.
Review: Finally I don't feel like a grown up on a Charlie Brown cartoon! No more "Blah blah blah." This video arrived yesterday, and my daughter who's almost 3 and a half used the potty all by herself immediatly after watching it. She told me that Bear told her to go by herself. She started using the potty 7 months ago. She did well for a couple months, then started wetting a little bit because she was too busy to go. After about 5 months of struggles, and even a month or more back in pull-ups, she got back into underpants, and after watching this video 3 times she is wetting less and even initiating trips to the bathroom. Bear says many of the things I have been telling her for a long time. I am glad that I have a voice that is heard. This video is worth every penny!

Summary: A must have for the early potty training student
Review: This video was purchased for my son when he was 2 years old and it held his interest from the first viewing. After a while, he would run and show me his potty just as they were showing it on the screen. At the end of the video, I would always take him to his potty and let him sit and remind him of what the characters did and said. To the say the least, he grasped the potty concept shortly after a few viewings. It's fun, it's entertaining and non-threatening and he learned all the songs. A must have for your little persons video collection.

Summary: Rather Pathetic....
Review: Okay, even though I am 13, I do enjoy "Bear In The Big Blue House"....Most of the time. However, this video can be discribed with only one word: Stupid. First off, Tutter looks very pathetic sitting on the toilet, and second, the video seems very preachy about getting rid of diapers and pulling on some underwear. Isn't it a little dangerous that television is teaching preschoolers EVERYTHING? Next thing you know, Barney will be teaching our kids how to walk.

Summary: What a Lifesaver!
Review: I cannot say enough about this video! Though my 14 month old is far from the potty training stage, I bought this video for the entertainment value (he loves the TV show). I'm not sure who enjoyed it more! I really like how they teach kids, in a no-pressure way, that everybody goes potty, that sometimes they may have accidents, when they should go, how they should wash up and flush, etc. I can only imagine it will be extremely useful when he does reach potty training age.

Bear in the Big Blue House is absolutely the only show that my very active and demanding son will actually stop in his tracks for. I can even get some cleaning done! Thank you for a wonderful product!!!

Summary: Requested Everyday
Review: Our 21 month old asks to watch "House" everyday since he saw it a few weeks ago. We don't have cable, so he wasn't familiar with the characters. The snappy tunes are his favorite, especially, "Potty, hey hey hey Potty", but he is showing more interest in his potty. It is a little early for him to be potty trained, but I think when the day finally arrives it will be low fuss due to the fun of this video.

Summary: HOW WONDERFUL!!!
Review: My almost three year has a number of learning disorders but I bought this in hopes that it would help him to understand. And he did! After watching it a few times a day for about 10 days, he actually asked to go on the potty and made me read him books until he was done doing both! Unfortunately he hasn't asked again (this was a week ago) but I now know that he knows what it is and he is just not ready yet. But this video helped him to understand the concept, the words and that it's fun. So go for it!

Summary: An end to potty time misadventures!
Review: This video is magnificent. If your child likes Bear at all and is ready to potty train, this will definitely help. My 2yr 3 month old boy was having some trouble with BM's, but after watching this video 3 times, he is ready to do everything in the potty. He sings the songs that Bear sings and dances around. We haven't had any poopy accidents since he watched the video the first time.

Buy the video!
