Summary: This series got me into anime
Review: I've always enjoyed japanese animation, but I was never really into it. During my freshman year of college, one of the boys in my dorm made me watch this with him. I am now a groupy. ;o)

This series is excellent. It has a lot of little plots that all fall into place by the end. Guaranteed, you will love it.

Summary: A great purchase!
Review: I bought this near the beginning, when it came out, and I payed quite a bit for it... but believe me it was WELL worth it. Everything about this show is amazing. There are funny parts, serious parts, exciting parts and really sad parts. Definately one of the best anime ever.

Summary: The best anime series. Period.
Review: I'll try and not be redundant, but Cowboy Bebop is THE definitive anime. Everything in this series deserves the highest rating; characters, music, artwork, everything. The themes of Cowboy Bebop go deeper than any anime I've seen.

Just like Spirited Away or Jin-Roh, this series needs to be in all anime fans' libraries.

Summary: Good
Review: I am one of those people who like anime. Some of them fascinate me. But it wasn't till I saw Cowboy Bebop that I realised what I was doing. All other animes (barring ghost in the shell, blood: the last vampire and a few others) looked so boring after having watched it. All other animes seemed so commercialised and so comformed to be completely un-controvercial. Cowboy Bebop has style, a clever wit, a plot which is cleverly formulated to leave certain parts to the imagination and other not, and to top it of, fluent, beautiful fight scenes. Whats more it has some great Jazz tunes. I wont go into detail. Although this anime is the best I have ever seen, and probably will ever see until Watanabe brings out somethings else (actually he has, "beyond", one of the animatrix dvds stories). As I was saying or writing, despite the fact this anime is great, it is only for select audiences. Although I find it's humour briliantly dry and cynical, others may not. Although I find the storyline and visual effects amazing, others may not. And finally, quite a few people don't like jazz (unfortunatly) and this anime is based almost completely on the soul of Jazz & blues. A GREAT anime, and one for the keeps (look out for the perfect sessions dvd box set).

Summary: The Best and Unbeatable Anime of all Time!
Review: This set contains all 26 episodes of the best Anime(Japanese Animation) and doesn't quit. I have this set, and Have truly enjoyed it. I think that it is great because of the Action, the story and the villain. The overall story is about Spike Spiegal, Bounty Hunter in the year 2090 something(I believe) and is searching for Bounties, and his lost love Julia. He was part of a syndacite, and he ran away from it, and because of that his life is in danger. The series has breathtaking visuals, a good story excellent Jazz music backgrounds etc. The story is pretty sad if you ask me, but if you have Cartoon Network on your TV, and like Cowboy Bebop, then this is defenitly for you. It is worth the high price and more. The Special Features aren't great... It is also fun to listen to the Japanese dialoge to see what it was like in Japan. I highly recomend this. If you see them once, you're going to see them again.

Summary: One of the best anime series ever.
Review: This has to be one of the best series I've ever seen! There's plenty of action, fights in space, comedy, and lots of character depth! The only things I have wrong with this show is the way it ends and the flashbacks! I think there could've been more explanation on the flashbacks. Rated 13 and up for violence and blood.

Summary: A masterwork of the animated medium
Review: Cowboy Bebop has been, since it's release in 1998, the bar by which every new anime series is judged by. It's just that good. Many have described it as 1970's cop show-meets western-meets high-quality drama-meets film-noir, and I am gonna have to agree with them.

Cowboy Bebop revolves around futuristic bounty hunters Spike Spiegel and Jet Black, and the series is really just their exploits through the universe. Along the way, they meet female bounty hunter Faye Valentine, computer hacker Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky 4th (simply Ed for short), data dog Ein, and various bounties and figures from their past.

The beauty of Cowboy Bebop is that although the show does have a recurring story based around Spike's past, this is more or less tossed aside for "filler" episodes, or one episode storylines. Through filler episodes, we make a very strong bond and attachment to these characters, and it makes the ending to it all the more heartfelt.

When I watch Cowboy Bebop, I really do feel what happens to the characters. You feel sympathy and plight, happiness and joy, sadness and sorrow. You care about the characters, and I commend the staff who worked on the series for doing this. Very few anime series have characters for whom you can actually relate to, build bonds to emotionally, and frankly, give a damn about. Cowboy Bebop pulls it off with elegance and grace, as if it were nothing.

All in all, Cowboy Bebop is one of the best anime ever created, hands down. it has excellent characters, wonderful storylines, beautiful animation, and mesmorizing locales. It remains to be one of my favorites of all time.

Summary: god of anime
Review: Spike is the sharp...shooter with a cocky attitude and he will kick you...if you say other wise. If you like hard...good anime get this set. The only other any better than this is Trigun.

Review: Great choice! CB fan for life. Words cannot illustrate what has already been illustrated in great 25 minute episodes. NR 13 rated though...

Summary: The best cartoon...maybe even best series
Review: I am NOT an Anime junkie. I do not watch Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, or Battle Suit Gundam. This is not, however, because they are "uncool" or "gay" (if cared in the slightest about popular opinion I would not have started a second game on Pokemon Blue), but because I don't like them.

Anime, on the whole, is not something I am a fan of, and the only reason I have watched the medium amount of it that I have is that I am searching for something that can measure up to Cowboy Bebop.

I have come to this conclusion: There is no such series.

Period.

Not to say that there are none aside from Cowboy Bebop that are worth seeing: certainly not. But I have found none that even come close to the level of Cowboy Bebop.

Wantanabe's has a fabulously unique vision of the future, creating a reality which is fantastic but subtle, elegant but realisticly crude, and, abouve all, human. Most futuristic media depict either a majestic funhouse, full of rounded edges and robotic slaves, or a communistically imposing, nightmarish hell. (The Jetsons, A.I., Metropolis, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, My Favorite Martian, Mobile Suit Gundam, etc.)

All of the characters are likeable and believeable, and the overall storyline is compelling, intriguing, masterfully conducted.

This is a must-have for anyone interested in good movies & television!
