Summary: Amazing Sim-Pal-Y amazing
Review: Trigun:In my point of view this is a great show. Trigun was first released in Japan in 1998 by pioneer entertainment
It was created by Yasuhiro Nightow
It was directed by Director: Satoshi Nishimura
Trigun:In a star system like our own on a sandy world  there exists a gunman named Vash the Stampede(also known as the Humanoid Typhoone) who destroyed the entire city of July. Although no one was killed a $$60,000,000,000 bounty was put on his head. Now  everyone is after him for the reward but no one really knows what he looks like. Two women named Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompsan from the Bernardelli Insurance Society are constantly keeping a close a eye on Vash to minimize the damage he causes. While they are searching for Vash they encounter an irresponsible idiot who seems to always be where they are. They later find out that he is Vash the Stampede, they can hardly believe it's Vash because this man is a peace loving dork who never kills. Although he seems like a moron without a care in the world he actually has a dark past and is actually very serious. Vash seeks out a murderer named Knives, who is actually his brother, so he can settle the score for all the horrible things he's done to him.

the music in Trigun isnt to hot but the elaberate scenes make up for this. Trigun is well done anime show that is probely 13 and up material for the language and violence. However it has it comical moments, even i found myself laughing.I would recomend this movie to anyone: anime fan or not.

Summary: Not as "hysterical!" as some say...
Review: I know. Tons of weird people who stay in their house all day are going to "no" this review. They have self-esteem problems because others don't worship their anime. The thing is though, this series isn't that great.

We know who Vash is from the start. He isn't that comical though. I laughed one time. No wait... zero times. If you have a tremendous sence of humor that expands beyond the natural sence of humor then you will laugh. Or if you want to appreciate your investment and "fake laugh" then yes, you will laugh. However, Vash is a goof. He acts like an idiot. Rent Dumb and Dumber if you want stupid.

The end becomes disoriented. It revolves around battles more, but they become pointless. Do I care about this villian? Why do I care if Diablo and Vash fight? Do I know Diablo? The answer is no. I don't get to know any of the villians. This is a problem because I no longer desperately want Vash to beat the villians as they are bland. The ending is almost as terrible. It doesn't clear up that much. Well, kinda... The ending bad guy is terrible. It turns out that the main bad guy is, gasp! Incredible! Just kidding because I saw it coming a mile away.

Not worth the investment. Buy a different anime. Evangelion.
Well, let's go over it then.
Can one person name 5 hilarious things in the anime that are actually funny. 5 things that will crack me up when reading them. I think not.

Summary: Hysterical and action-packed...a great anime series!
Review: He's prone to whining, crying and throwing tantrums, but Vash still manages to get the job done! Since I was introduced to Cowboy Bebop a little over a year ago, I've seen many different Anime, and I have to say flat out that Trigun is my favorite. Ironic, considering that Vash the Stampede is the epitome of everything I couldn't stand about Anime before I became a fan, but I actually find Vash to be completely hysterical, and one my favorite anime characters.

Its Wild West meets futuristic Sci-Fi in this anime about a man with names like 'The Humanoid Typhoon' and 'The 60 Billion Double Dollar Man'. Beleived to be the cause of mass destruction wherever he goes, Vash is actually a misunderstood, friendly and peace-loving individual...who is armed to the teeth, with superhuman strength and speed, the sharpest eye on the planet, and a 60 Billion Double Dollar bounty on his head that many are just itching to get their hands on. He hates violence and won't bring himself to kill anyone...and he has his reasons.

The overall plot of the show is great, but only loosely follows the Manga, since the anime is very different towards the end. Every episode is a continuation in the overall story. The first few episodes are mostly comical, but as the series progresses, Vash's true enemies reveal themselves and the show begins taking a darker tone. Many revelations about Vash's mysterious origins are revealed, and at about the middle of the show there is an origin episode that explains it a bit moe. That said, this anime is both completely hysterical and filled with great action. Vash's ridiculous behavior, stupid facial expressions and whining and screaming add a whole dimension to the character. Half the time when I watched this show, I was laughing. Sometimes it was so funny I was doubled over and tearing from the comedy aspect.

Side characters Meryl and Millie are also good characters...Millie's rather stupid but resourceful personality make her one of the funniest characters on the show (and one of my favorites). A gun-toting priest priest known as Nicholas D. Wolfwood shows up, inadvertantly forming a friendship and partnership with Vash, which leads to more hysterical situations. When the main cast of villains begin to get introduced to the show, it really takes off. Some of these villains, namely Legato Bluesummers (one of my all time favorite anime characters), are among the most sinister and evil characters I've seen yet in Anime.

Trigun happens to be my favorite Anime. The overall series has its fair share of comedy, alot of action, but also alot of emotion, particularly towards the end of the show. Combined with great character development, excellent animation, and a very good soundtrack, Trigun stands as one of the best anime to come out in recent years. As the second anime I got into after Bebop, I found it to be very entertaining and easy to get into. While the manga differs a bit from the anime, Trigun is definitely a great show and is worth the watch for any anime fan. Chances are that if you liked Bebop, you'll like Trigun.

Summary: The Best Anime Ever
Review: Trigun is not like any other anime that I have seen so far. What makes it special is that it has two layers to it. On the surface there are a lot of comedy and action to it. You enjoy watching it; it makes you laugh. There is, however, a deeper layer that makes you cry. This is the secret to Trigun: at the same time that it makes you laugh, it makes you cry as well. Although many people who have watched it only see the comedy aspect of it, Trigun is the story of "pain and suffering." It makes you think about all the pain and problems that faces our world.
I highly recommend this anime to any one who thinks about what he or she is watching, someone who reads between the lines.

Summary: And.... Into God's World...
Review: There are two odd, and seemingly contradictory elements related to my incredible admiration for Trigun. One, I am not a believer in God. Two, I believe that Trigun is easily one of the greatest works ever made because it is a supremely brilliant religious allegory.

Vash The Stampede and Nicholas D. Wolfwood are, in my opinion, symbolic of two schools of modern thought. Vash is an idealist, a man of faith (ironic since Wolfwood is the priest). Wolfwood is pure realism, a rationalist, cold-blooded man. Naturally, they end up drawing aspects from each other's philosophy (which doesn't work out too well for Wolfwood). Along the way, of course, they have wacky hijinks and some insightful dialogue, leading up to one of the most tense and emotional climaxes in anime (which comes two episodes before the end, which is ALSO a wonderful piece of work). While I may not agree with the overt Christian symbolism flowing from the show, I can certainly recognize its power. Trigun is wonderfully written and beautifully directed, and aside from an absolutely abysmal episode involving "giant people", is one of the most beautiful pieces of work ever made.

Summary: Favorite Trigun Series
Review: There is nothing I like better than sitting down to watch Trigun. It's funny and is quite the thriller at times. It is true that there isn't excessive blood squirts or flashy ninja sword or Gundam battles... but I don't like that crap anyway. The first episode of Trigun that I watched hooked me and I will have this on Christmas '03 to watch and watch and watch and love and watch.
The basis of this anime is not one of a completely serious nature, it you've seen the show Firefly (now available on DVD). it's a bit like that.
Wolfwood is great. Me and my buddy already have discussed plans for doing cosplay as Vash and Wolfwood...
Pick it up, watch it, love it.

I had never seen true anime, but i loved cartoons enough to go out and buy trigun right away. It was the best choice I have ever made. BUY THIS NOW!!! This got me into anime and it made me interested enough to be an otaku. please get this, and I hope you wil have the same good experience I had.

Summary: Vash is STUPID
Review: I think the main reason i probably like trigun is because of the preist. I think i relate to him most of all and that is why i like tri-gun but what makes me hate tri-gun is that the vash (main character) acts way to stupid . When i saw the episode where a boy or whatever was some kind of demon and was ready to blow the vash's head right off his shoulders along with the girl vash was trying to talk the demon kid out of it and the demon kid wasn't even budging and looked like he was going to kill both vash and the girl then the preist shoots the demon kid before anything can happen and vash becomes pissed off at the preist for what he did because he said he should have givin the demon kid a chance and he wouldn't have shot. Later on down the line the preist starts to believe vash and i think starts to feel bad about what he did so later on when the preist defeats his teacher he decides to turn his back on him and giving him a secound chance while the teacher still has a weapon in his hand and then the preist get's shot in the back and dies for listening to vash's stupid way of thinking. Vash has got to be the dumbest hero besides goku who constantly gives his enemies a secound chance to kill him. If you watch DBZ you will remember when Goku gave Captin Genu a secound chance to walk away and then captin genu realising how stupid Goku was took advantage of Goku's weakness took his body. Lucky for goku he got his body back later on. But then again when Goku went to fight freiza vegeta before he died on namek warned and begged Goku not to be so stupid and to give freiza a secound chance and told him to finish him off. He told Goku how evil freiza was and how many people he killed and how he killed both Vegeta's and Goku's dad and then Goku said he would not give freiza a secound chance and promised he would finish freiza off but to no avail Goku gave freiza a secound chance after freiza was cut in half by giving him some of his own power so he could escape the planet that was about to blow up and then freiza used that last bit of power to try and kill goku but then goku turned around and killed freiza just in the nik of time. Vash acts just like this and that is why i don't like him

Summary: The greatest sci-fi/action/comedy/drama/western of all time!
Review: Vash the Stampede: the legendary gunman. Has a bounty on his head of $$60,000,000,000 for the destruction of the town of July. Those are the kinds of things you would normally hear about the outlaw aka the "Humanoid Typhoon". The main character of Trigun is this person.

Two girls from an insurance firm are sent out to track down Vash the Stampede and follow him. After making contact with a blonde idiot they meet several powerful outlaws claiming to be Vash. Every time it turns out that these said outlaws are merely posing as the Humanoid Typhoon. Eventually the girls realize that the blonde idiot is indeed Vash. With this knowledge they follow him around as he saves the day from bandits, helps the weak, and tries to never kill despite his description. At one point Vash and the insurance girls (who are still following closely) meet a man named Nicholas D. Wolfwood. Wolfwood makes multiple appearances and helps Vash on occasion. Wolfwood's skills with a gun can at times seem to rival even those of Vash.

Trigun is an amazing series with brilliant animation but it seems to lack a plot in the beginning. That changes about halfway in the series.

The appearance of Legato Bluesummers and the Gung-Ho Guns begins to stir memories of Vash's past. Each Gung-Ho Gun challenges Vash in a different way. During this part of the series you learn what really happened to the city of July and earned Vash the name "Humanoid Typhoon". Vash attempts to abandon his terrible life but fails when he is found out by Wolfwood. Vash teams up with Wolfwood and they go to Vash's "home". But danger always follows Vash and tragedy strikes all around him. After the death of a friend and being forced to kill someone in cold blood Vash becomes overwhelmed by grief. One of the insurance girls unknowingly reminds Vash of something his mentor said in the past and Vash goes after his brother, who is the cause of all the trouble in the second half of the series. With a final explosive battle the series ends.

The beginning of Trigun is full of comedy whereas the second half is more of a drama. The change between the two halves is abrupt and you are flung into the tragedies of the hero. Besides the incredible sotry and animation the musical accompaniment is exceptional and enhances the action considerably. Definitley the best anime you could choose.

Summary: THE BEST
Review: This is THE best anime I have ever seen. I got hooked on anime when I watch Tenchi Muyo the OAV collection, and the Outlaw Star. This was the 2nd anime boxed set I bough but 3rd anime series I've seen and as of now I must've seen about a total of 35 series and movies, mostly series that I downloaded and the ones I like out of all the ones I have seen I buy. As this one is so far the BEST anime I have seen, I own it and if a single DVD of this box set gets scratched, Im gunna be so damn pissed. Theres no way I would ever sell this series and as I have already watched it 7 times through, the next 17 times I watch it, I will never get bored of it. It is just THAT crazy. It is the B E S T!
