Summary: What A Mistake
Review: I didn't think Pixar could possibly mess up two movies in a row, but "Nemo" is a truly disastrous film. An almost-all-star cast is roped in along with a fabulous animation team, but they can't save the movie from sinking farther than the Titanic.First of all, the story is nothing special. Marlin (Albert Brooks), a clownfish, and his family are attacked by a baracuda who kills his wife and all but one of his children. For reasons undisclosed, Marlin becomes extremely over protective of Nemo, the remaining child, prompting him to disobey his father. Of course, Nemo is captured by fishermen and thrown into a fish tank in a dentist's office. The tank is home to several one-dimensional characters and only two have the slightest hint of a personality. Willem Dafoe voices Gill, a sage-like fish who teaches Nemo virtues, and Gurgle (Austin Pendleton) provides the best joke in the film. Meanwhile, Marlin befriends Dory (lesbian Ellen DeGeneres), and the two set off to find Nemo, meeting several unnecessary characters along the way. The 'surfer-dude' turtle, Crush (which means 'to have sex' by the way), is a pointless and potentially offensive stereotype, while several sharks who don't eat fish sport the least creative slogan I've ever heard: "Fish are friends, not food". While, yes, the animators have obvious talent, they hardly ever show you anything incredible. Most of the time, Marlin and Dory will be talking to each other with nothing but blue, empty sea in the background. After they leave the reef, you'll almost never see another fish swimming around, or the slightest bit of scenery. Above ground, the seagulls and pelicans are a good idea but they're never fully exploited, while the fish tank grows and shrinks as required for the scene, a cheap way for the animators to have less work. There is very little humor. Every character is dependent on rehashing a joke at least five times and milking it for all it's worth. You'll here Marlin stutter over the same bad joke and explain that just because he's a clownfish, it doesn't mean that he's funny. Dory suffers from short-term memory loss and forgets who Marlin is over and over, making a mockery of what is actually a very serious condition. I highly recommend that you skip this one. Hopefully next time Pixar will get the picture and stop trying to bank on garbage.

Summary: Pixar has done it again!
Review: I did not want to the movie to end. This animated story is moving and funny. It exposes the inner workings of life in the oceans. Surprisingly, it's quite similar to life on the surface :) Nemo and his father, Marlin, are the only remaining members of the clown fish family. The rest were eaten by a shark. Nemo is kidnapped when he purpously wanders near a boat against the warning and protests of his father. The movie follows the father's quest to find his son. Marlin enlists the help of a blue fish with a short term memory problem. They encounter many different sea creatures including sharks, who are trying to abandon their predatory ways, and turtles, who show them the way to Sydney. Nemo is imprisoned in a fishtank in a dentist's office in Sydney. He and his fellow prisoners plot daily to escape. They get news from the outside world from a pelican who visits the dentist's office. Nemo's hope is restored when he hears of his father's brave exploits in search of him. All the fish escape by outwitting the dentist, and Nemo is reunited with his father. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. It has the trademark of genuine Pixar look and humour. It's a lot different than Jacque Cousteau's version of what actually goes on in the ocean because it is told from the sea creatures' perspective.

Summary: The Pixar's funniest movie
Review: I can say this is the best cartoon that I had watched this calendar year. All those jokes make me laugh, Nemo the stubborn little clown fish, if he could have listened to his father's words he would not have been caught by the divers. So I had learnt not to be stubborn. MUST watch!

Summary: An Oscar Best Picture Nomination For The Year !!
Review: This is by far the best animation pictures ever produced by Pixar, although I love the other four (expecially Toy Story and Toy Story II). Excellent and colorful drawing, along with an extraordinary storyline. It makes you laugh; it makes you think. A most funniest, touching, inspring animation picture of all time (so far). I am giving a rating of A. MUST SEE. Anticipating the DVD to come out in November.

Summary: Good,but scary for young
Review: I saw this movie with my mom and my 3 year old sister (2 at the time). I thought it was a great movie,but my sister hated it she was scared first a fish eats the mom and the babies only nemo is left. My sister was so we had to get popcorn to shut her up (i missed the turtle part)So this is not a movie for kids 3 and under. 4 year olds may be o.k.If your are older i would reccomend it.

Summary: Good, but it could've been better
Review: I thought this movie was a very fun movie to watch plus it had great animated special effects. I just didn't think it was as good as some other movies that Pixar had done in the past like Monsters Inc. or Toy Story 2. Mainly because there wasn't as much humor in this movie as some other animated movies that I've seen. Some of the scenes in this movie were funny, but not many. Also I'm not a really big fan of Albert Brooks or Ellen DeGeneres. But if your looking for a movie that is good for the youngsters to see, this is a good one.

Summary: One of Disney/Pixar's BEST
Review: Disney does it again with one of it's best animated movies ever. Good for the little kids and adults (teenagers don't seem to apprechiate Disney), this is the touching story of a father who, accompinied by a fish suffering from short-term memory loss looks for his sun who is captured by humans and put in a dentist's office. Instresting "Second Story," telling about the son (Nemo)'s attemped escape from the tank, aided by the other ocupants, including a starfish, a depressed, scheming leader who was captured from the ocean as well, and a fish who thinks her reflection is her sister. A must-see for all Disney fans, with a touching beging and ending that sent me home sniffing.

Review: It's the story of a little Clownfish named "Nemo" who has been captured by a fisherman in Sydney Australia is now a prisoner in a Dentist's aquarium. Nemo's father " Marlin" ( voiced by Albert Brooks) is in search for Nemo with the help of "Dory" ( voiced by Ellen Degeneris) and some other sea critters to find his son.
A fantastic, entertaining, never-to-disappoint movie that has life-like computer animation, heartfelt scenes and laugh-out-loud humor makes this movie a must see movie, plus the DVD is coming out for Thanksgiven, so plan on putting it on your wishlist cause this movie is truly a triumph!

Summary: 99% Perfect! The escape from the whale was impossible.
Review: "Finding Nemo" the latest hit from Pixar, is the biggest movie of 2003, (as of Aug. 7, 2003). It has made more money than any other film released this year, and gotten 99% approval rating from "Rotten Tomatoes", the movie critics website, which is better than any 2003 movie up to this date. It has a great story, the voices are perfectly matched to their characters they portray, it is an original script, and the techincal aspects are very well done. The story concerns an over-protective father clownfish, Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks), trying to get his only surviving son, Nemo, who was caught by a scuba diver and taken away. The film does start off with a violent scene involving a barracuda, the wife, and their other fish eggs. Most of the violence does take place off camera, but, this is strong, real-life action for very young children. The action takes place between the Great Barrier Reef and Sydney Harbor, and there is one mild negative comment made about Americans. The sea life is the type a person would find in the area. Pixar used Professor Adam Summers, from the Univ. Of California at Irvine, in the making of the movie so it's usually accurate, but there is one scene that is impossible. Marlin, and Dory, a blue tang voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, (who's the best character in the very talented cast), are caught in the mouth of a baleen whale, and they escape through the whale's blowhole. This can never happen because a whale's lungs and mouth are not connected, otherwise, a whale might drown trying to eat. The water that comes out of the whale is condensation, similar to exhaling on a cold day. This one scene does spoil an otherwise perfect movie. I think Pixar wanted the visuals of being ejected from the whale's spout, instead off being released out of the mouth. Marlin and Dory, shallow water fish, also meet a very deep sea angler fish, but, I can overlook that mistake. The whale escape aside, the movie is great, and I plan on getting the DVD when it is released in November 2003. This is an instant classic, and it will probably get the "People's Choice" award for favorite film of 2003.

Summary: Awesome movie!
Review: I'm 13, I listen to rock and rap, I wear black constantly, I get put down a lot and....I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! I don't care what all the kids at school tell me, I was still laughing 5 minutes after Dory spoke whale. I don't really like Disney because it's got all these fake-y prep singers on it's radio and I'm sick of Princess' Diaries; but everytime they make a movie with Pixar it ends up perfect. Finding Nemo is a very good movie and if I could watch it all the time that would be great.
