Summary: Shows what the critics know.....
Review: I saw this movie and I laughed at how bad and video gameish the movie was. It was done via computer animation and it looked like what you see on Playstation, only these market people try to tell us it's a movie, What a joke. Animation should be drawn, not done on cheap computers.

Summary: You don't HAVE to be a KID to enjoy this!!
Review: I really had no intention buying or renting this movie until a friend let us borrow it. Then I decided to sit down and watch it and I really like it! I just got done watching it for the 3rd time so far. I'm going to be 21 years old next month and I still watch cartoons. After I return this movie to my friend, I'm definently gonna add it to my DVD Wish List. It deserves a place in my collection!

Summary: Talk about an awesome movie!!
Review: Pirates of the Carribean, eat your heart out. 'Finding Nemo' is the best sea, animated and family film yet. Once again, PIXAR Animation studios delivered amazing and incredibly realistic animation. Finding Nemo is a great movie because it has a very interesting plot which will make you involved from start to finish. It's cast is great, Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGernes, Willem Dafoe, etc. Also, the humor and dramatic and intense sequences blend in to make this film. It's humorous, such as the screenplay and funny facial expressions. Intense, such as the Angler fish scene, when its all dark and the Angler fish pops out of no where, and when you see it's face, you'll know what I'm talking about! And dramatic such as the loving relationship between Marlin and Nemo, and the friendship between Dory and Marlin. But what makes this movie so amazing is that all of the material is REAL!(Except the talking fish with eyelids and all) Clown fish, Jelly Fish, Anemones-- all of it is real, and delivers an educational impact on us on how beatiful and overwhelming the ocean is.
So basically, if you've been living under a rock for the past 9 months and haven't seen this movie, BUY THIS MOVIE!!And even if you already saw it and don't have it, stop reading this review and order it now!

Summary: Wonderful
Review: I do not understand why people want to diss this movie or call it a let down. To me, as an adult whom does not have children, loved this film and have bought the DVD for my own entertainment. It was extremely cute and had a good plot. I believe that Dori really made the film as funny as it was. I especially like the section where Marlon and Dori speak "whale". Over all this film is great for families and for anyone who likes a good laugh and a comfort feeling. I do not believe this film is cheesy in any way. I is a Disney/Pixar masterpiece alongside the other sucessful Disney/Pixar films that were also equally great.

Summary: Why disrespect the dolphin?
Review: This is a great kids movie well done in every way but one. I am not sure why but for some reason Disney decided to totally disrespect the Dolphin in this film. There are no Dolphin characters, and the only mention of the Dolphin, is in the context of a few sharks at a fish eating anonymous support group meeting, they are reciting how fish are not food, but fish are they're friends and then one say's "except flipping Dolphins".The offending shark then goes on a diatribe about the Dolphin, "oh look at me i'm a flipping dolphin hehehe look at me do a flip aren't i cute" yadda yadda yadda more Dolphin dissin'. Anyway this is interesting because in all of it's politically correct glory Disney somehow manages to create a ultra cutting edge (strictly form a graphics perspective) movie, a movie that will be a vehicle for Billions of dollars in retail sales for the movies characters for years to come. I have no idea why but I am sure for a very good reason the decision was made to leave out the cause d'celebre of the sea the Dolphin, perhaps they feel there is enough public awareness regarding the plight of the Dolphin and the destruction of it's habitat as well as the trapping of Dolphins in the net's of tuna fishermen. Whatever the reason it clearly was not an oversight and the decison was deliberatley made to not have a Dolphin character in the film. Interestingly the seagulls in this film are given rather harsh treatment as well although it is in the spirit of fun, at least it's understandable to the extent that many view the seagull as a flying rat; therefore portraying them as unsavory moron's I guesss is understandable if not acceptable.

Summary: Fantastic animation but slow at times
Review: This video is great for kids, and the animation is simply excellent.

However, the story gets boring after a while and some of the parts are rather corny. Yet another Disney movie brainwashing kids about moral ideas such as love and trust... not that that's a bad thing... but this movie displays those morals in a corny, sappy way that will make you want to sink into your seat and will embarrass you. That's why the point was lost.

But generally it was fantastic and extremely funny. It was meant for kids, and serves its purpose well... even though I'm a teenager and enjoyed it.

Summary: Limited Extras Point to Something Fishy Going On.
Review: My Collector's Edition DVD of Monsters Inc. and my Toy Story Ultimate Toybox DVD boxset both hold pride of place in my collection. Even my standard version of A Bug's Life sees the inside of my DVD player quite often. Following these, I find Nemo a little bit of a let down.
I'm not a huge fan of the film in the first place - although beautifully rendered, I find it too episodic to be dramatic although I do believe it will win the Oscar come February. There are some great set-pieces but the whole, in my opinion, is not equal to the sum of it's parts. What disappointed me more about this DVD release was the relatively poor extras. Compared with Monsters Inc. and Toy Story and especially considering this was the first Pixar movie to have a film crew follow the entire creative process, the extras are sparse and child-friendly. The 'Making Nemo' doc is not as detailed as I would have liked and the kid's making of doc, although very funny, isn't exactly informative. The factual stuff about the ocean seems like padding and the game is poor. Also I am a great fan of watching the recording sessions with the voice artists - none of that, in fact no input from them at all. Considering the comic capabilities of the actors involved, surely this is a glaring omission. I can only assume that a Super-Duper Platinum-Plated-Gold Edition with Added Knobs & Whistles is on the horizon. However, The Virtual Aquarium feature is cool and the menus are excellent.
