Summary: For me, it was worth every cent.
Review: Gave it four just for the "quality issues", but I gotta say that everyone whining about the quality is Dolby Digital spoiled. Hello? It was made in 1992, not 2002! I have VHS tapes in much worse quality. As for the lack of extras, I didn't care. There were so many episodes there was no need for extras.

They were the same old episodes, but different. Different names, different jokes, slightly different plots. I laughed my butt off at some of the cut scenes. I certainly hope they weren't cut for violence. Ed, Edd and Eddy is more violent than Sailor Moon. I finally got to see the episode about Sailor Venus' past. I fell in love with my first anime all over again.

Summary: WOW! FINALLY!
Review: I was soooooo excited when I got this boxset. I turned it on and realized "hey! the sound quality on my video tapes of Sailor Moon are better than this." So my point is, the Sailor Moon VHS tapes made in 1993 have crystal clear sound quality and in this dvd I cant hardly make out a consonant.
Otherwise this is 1 of the best things that ever happened to American Sailor Moon. Buy it! Its really cool!

Summary: NOT DUBBED COOL!
Review: I love sailor moon! but when I found out they cut out stuff in some of my vhs(nudity)I got mad and I decided to find the uncut version and I did!(but it was lame I had to spend alot of my earned money just because they could not put one of the episodes from the first season uncut on one DVD)Well then I watched and thought Well DIC did mess it up! Then I also found out they put isailor moon on cartoon network cut and they did not put the last season on just because thier was to much nudity!Well thats the end! bye!

Summary: Absoulutely Wonderful, Cept for One Thing
Review: For a DVD, the audio is horrible. You have to turn up volume, and listen to the little crackles and stuff. I suppose I should be happy that we(Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon fans) have gotten a chance to see it in it's original format. Still, it would have been nice to get good quality sound.

Sailor Moon as you all know is about a teenage girl who becomes a supernatural fighting heroine. She has many adventures and eventually gets all the other senshi like her together. They fight the Dark Kingdom and succeed, at the costs of their lives.

Now, it's time for me to go all fangirly and stuff.

OMG! OMG! YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS!!!!!!! IT'S LIKE THE GREATEST SHOUJO ANIME EVER!!!!!!

Summary: Fabulous!
Review: I'm only giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because of some slight mistakes in the subtitles--once every few episodes there will be an error (incorrect punctuation/sentence structure, that kind of thing). I saw that someone else mentioned being disappointed with the sound, but the sound didn't seem especially bad to me.
The packaging is beautifully designed; the episode guide is cool and useful; the DVDs are set up so layer changes aren't apparent; the chapter breaks occur in logical places; the shows themselves are great. It's wonderful to be able to see everything as it was meant to be seen. I was surprised that Zoicite is not as different from the dubbed [female] Zoicite as I expected him to be, but the season climax/finale is dramatically different from the dubbed version.
Some of the funny lines from the dubbed version (like "Hey there, Sailor Ladies--goin' my way?") are gone, naturally, but there are occasional gems in the subtitles. It's great fun to see Sailor Moon say "D'oh!"
If I could give this 4 3/4 stars, I would, but I can't quite justify giving it 5 because I think the subtitles could use just a bit more proofreading.

Summary: The Truth About ADV's Sailor Moon,
Review: Here we go folks. This is what you can expect from the DVD's and why people are giving such differing ratings, comments for them. The audio isn't that good simply because it requires that you turn your television volume up alot. However I do believe if you have the tv on a higher volume setting then even japanese would understand the words being said. In that case the volume isn't an issue if you think about how impossible it is to get the episodes anyother way. The picture isn't really that bad. Some people have said it is poor or not to grand, but if you take the time to really think about it the pictures very good. In fact one can say the picture alone would've been worth purchasing this BOX SET for. My suggestion would be if you have a computer then use a program like E-Color to adjust your monitors settings so that it will bring out the best possible picture. The differences when using E-Color as compared to just leaving the settings alone is remarkable! I have E-Color and using that made everything so clear, crisp, and fine. I am going to give this 5 out of 5 because if the audio can be dealt with by using headphones and turning the volume up then the sets not so bad that it needs to drop 1 rating. Continue worshipping Sailor Moon, I know I shall!!

Summary: A great set for every Sailor Moon fan
Review: Okay, I'll admit, the audio was a little... terrible. But as long as you've not been spoiled to a surround sound system (as I've not had the money to get good speakers), then it really doesn't matter. I used headphones and was never bothered by the audio. Really, the worst parts are the opening and ending song; the rest is great, just not the make-the-walls-rumble sound people are spoiled to nowadays. The menu is simple to navigate, and there are no corny bells and whistles added on by desperate American companies. It's what Sailor Moon fans have wanted for so long: Sailor Moon! You can watch the entire first season without commercials or pathetic English actors trying to fill a Japanese role while editing everything to make it "child-friendly." This is the best purchase you can possibly make as a Sailor Moon Fan! I'm skipping all those ridiculous DVDs with two to three episodes on them that money-hungry American dubbing companies have put out; I'd like to see the rest of the seasons follow suit to this one!

Summary: Never knew I missed all this . . .
Review: Wow! . . . What else can I say to explain this DVD. I've been a Sailor Moon Fan or many years but this is the first time I've actually seen the un-cut version. I never knew I missed all of this stuff that was cut out from the U.S televison series. Can't wait till I will be able to order Season 2.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: So much better than the tv version
Review: This is the best. Im so glad they came out with this. Uncut and the original japanese version, how could it get any better. Maybe if they had the english version, but its not really important if you saw the show on toonami. Well anyway, I highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan. The audio is better than when you saw it on tv and the visual quality is really good too.
