Summary: Wonderful
Review: This is one of the greatest shows ever made. It combines comedy and drama in a setting much like that of the old west. If you like Cowboy Bebop, then you will Love this series. The only thing that is left to be desired is the voices in english are nowhere near as good as the Japanese voices. But all in all, this is one of the greatest shows ever done.

Summary: This touched my soul, grabbed it and never let go.
Review: There is one reason why i am into anime as much as i am. (and thats A LOT) To explain it i actually have to go back to when i was about 8. (Im 16) I used to live in Tokyo for the majority of my childhood. I was up one night very late. Thats cus every thursday, at around 11, they showed a tv show, that u could get changed into english. While watching the Bob Saget (s)hit tv show "Full House", i flicked to another channel, and something was starting. It was an anime. To this day, i still dont know what it was called. It was in Japanese, and i didnt understand a word. I sat through the whole thing, my jaw gaping wide open. This was incredible. Then it finished, and for the first and only time, a form of media made me cry. it was incredible. i felt so close to whoever the character was. i had been through so much with her. I was part of her adventure. When it finished, i felt like a better person for it. Only one word can come close to describe what i had just watched. Epic. Epic beyond reason. To this day i still don't know what that movie was. So, for the past many years, i have been seeking something that could come close to the revelation i had experienced. Nothing sufficed. ive spent hundreds on DVD's videos and the like trying to find something to fill the hole that movie had dug into me. There was nothing. Dont get me wrong, some of it was VERY good, but not a patch on what i had seen. Not Akira. Not the whole collection of Neon Genesis. Not my childhood love of Dragonball. Not Escaflowne. Not EVEN (what was my favorite anime) Ruoni Kenshin. I have tried so hard to relive what i had experienced that night. For years i was searching. I have found it. and now i am all the better person.

Summary: One of my favorites 4 1/2
Review: I will sum this up quick, basically Trigun starts of entertaining, gets a little silly, but towards the end gets serious as a heart attack. There is a good balance of comedy and action, with likable characters. Towards the end the plot twists earn this series its stars. A must have in any anime collection.

Summary: Simply Awesome!! Trigun Rocks
Review: Never have i seen such an awesome display of story telling and animation. Vash The Stampede, who is he? Why do they hunt him for 60,000,000,000? I'm not sure but i can say one thing. Ever since Dragonball Z i have looked for a series to match the Saiyajin experience. TRIGUN does it all the way with 5 stars. It's funny, and it has a lot of action. I recommend it to anyone, not just animation lovers. Believe me its worth it!!!!

Review: I will not repeat the premise of the show, since that can be
found in the other reviews and amazon's own summary. Instead,
let me address the question that really interests the buyer:
is this show worth the money or not?
First of all let me agree with some of the other (negative)
reviewers: the sophistication of Trigun is nowhere near
that of Cowboy Bebop. If you are therefore purchasing this
expecting another show on that level, forget it. You won't
be getting any, not technically (soundtrack, art, animation)
and not artistically (script, directing).
But this does not bar Trigun from having its own personal
charm. The characters are not deep but they are well written and
interact nicely. It is safe to say that the characters, as
always, are the saving grace of this show. They really manage
to keep it going.
Unfortunately the show suffers from all the cliches and
bad script problems that almost all other animes out there
suffer from. To name a few:
1. Excessive use of flashbacks, which show Vash as a little
boy. Well, not as excessive as most other animes, but
they occupy an episode and a half, which is way too much.
2. Immature storyline - ok, the storyline is fun, but it's
still immature. Basically, Vash fights a succession of
bad guys until he reaches the final bad guy. The series
culminates in a big shoot out. This is typical comic-book
writing. It works but it's certainly not high level. You
won't be getting any intense drama.
3. Visual humor & slapstick - animes are (in)famous for
using a lot of slapstick. This one isn't an exception.
It's not as bad as "man slips on a banana peel" but at
times (not always!) the humor is more "the three stooges"
than "Seinfeld" or "Monty Python" or (insert other high
level humor source here).
4. Impossible situations and stupid villians. In one of the
episodes Vash fights a huge giant which shoots out its
fist. Come on, is that for real? The villians are more
comic book villians than real ones. They are also
often insulting - if you want me to feel a real sense
of conflict, bring a real villian. I think I've matured
beyond "Godzilla" and "King Kong" and I demand that a
little more thought be put into my villians.
Nevertheless, the show is not a collection of drivel and lunacy. It has its strong moments. As a whole it can definitely be
considered entertaining. It's very hard answering the question,
"is this worth the money?", because it's impossible to say until
you've watched the entire series (especially since the best
episodes are at the end). I'd put it this way: Cowboy Bebop is
certainly the current champion of anime. However, for the 2nd
place (and unfortunately with a considerable distance between the two) Trigun definitely has my vote.

Review: I absolutely loved Trigun. The anime is much easier to follow than the manga. Vash is sucha sweetheart, gotta love him XD He's so cute ~ Anyway, see this anime, and you won't be disapointed.

Summary: Something For Everyone
Review: Hey! Even if you're not really an avid anime lover....give this series a chance....and chances are you will be amazed. Beautifully animated this series tackles huge universal truths about the human condition but is also infused with a healthy dose of humour and irony. The voice direction is superb and the art direction is masterful. In the end....you wonder...can you really have a crush on an anime chara? In the end....I was teary eyed that the adventure was over....for now. Truly worth having in your collection.

Summary: pathetic
Review: It's an o.k anime, but compared to Evangelion and Lain it's pathetic. It is basically about some fool who eats donoughts and walks around causes destruction while two people follow him and "clean it up". The protaganist is an excellant marksman and yet he never fires a gun until episode 5, which is pretty lame considering one of his arms is a gun and instead he walks around eating doughnuts. It's basically in the
lame-o class with simple and pathetic animes like pokemon. Evangelion and Lain are complex, intrigueing, and enticing animes that always keep you coming back for more. Trigun is more the o.k this stinks, when is it going to be over type. How it got any fans at all is a mystery to me. Save your money for something worthwhile.

Review: Oooooooooohh!!!!! I love this anime! The storyline is great, the characters are cool (Vash is so cute!), the setting is interesting, and this series totally rocks! If you haven't seen any or haven't seen all of this series (you poor, poor, soul) you should, right now.

Summary: A great series, a definate buy for any Anime lover
Review: TRIGUN is definitely a great anime. TRIGUN is another bounty hunter type anime, much like CowBoy Bebop and OutLaw Star. The unlikely hero has a 60 billion double dollar reward on his head. He has acquired this enormous reward for actions, once you've met this character, he doesn't even seem capable of doing. Vash, the hero, is unable to kill anyone or anything; this complicates many of his predicaments (mostly near the end of the series). Throughout the tale of TRIGUN you meet many characters, good and bad, one of which his brother, Knives. Among these characters are a priest, WolfWood, and two representatives from an insurance firm, Meryl and Millie, that are told to follow Vash and document all the destruction he happens to cause. Although in the first half of the series the animation appears to be goofy, the last half is very dramatic, as Vash struggles to live while all this death happening around him, that he seems to cause. The animation in the series is ok, doesn't match up to that of CowBoy Bebop or Vampire Hunter D: BloodLust. With Dolby Digital 2.0 (mono more or less) this series doesn't had extraordinary sound but it works nonetheless. You don't want to miss out on this series, a great depiction of the fight versus good and evil. I highly recommend it.
