Tekken: The Motion Picture

Summary: short but fast paced and interesting
Review: The bad: a little short, could've used a few more fight scenes. The good: great character design and animation, Anna Williams, compelling story. I'm not a die hard fan of the game series (I love Tekken Tag-ps2 though) and so I didn't compare how well it was translated, in fact, it is probably better if you don't follow the game series that closely since video game translations are rarely well done (Darkstalkers was magnificent though). The package art doesn't really clue you in on the gem inside.

Review: The movie did o.k. at portraying Kazuya as a character with all of his personality, but that's about it. The action scenes were some of the worst I've ever seen in animation. The Dialogues were poorly written and the film was short. This movie simply tries to catch a few bucks by riding on the popularity wave of the tekken game series. The game series may be decent, but don't waste your money on this video/dvd. There are much better animated movies/series to be watching than this.

Review: The movie was pretty nice but too short(57-something minutes). In other words, it wasn't worth the [money] I paid for a brand new dvd. So if you're not really a fan of the video game, I suggest you get a used one or just rent it.

Review: This is a REAL shoddy job. The one thing that every viewer will expect from this movie is great fight scenes and Tekken can't even deliver that. Tekken is the low end of the video game to movie genre.

Review: This is the worst anime I have ever seen. Excessively boring character designs, nonexistent "plot", scant and boring "fight scenes" (which is really bad as it's supposed to be based off a fighting game) and a faulty decision to replace the original soundtrack, which is ADV trying to emulate the Street Fighter movie release in the worst way possible. You get the idea that they funneled the eniote budget for this film into the two CGI sequences that do NOTHING. I felt my IQ drop as I sat through this thing with hopes that it would somehow redeem itself and was ultimately disappointed. Only the word limit prevents me from fully expressing how bad this anime was.

Review: This movie has great animation and a pretty good plot. It's not the most origional idea though. But I must say it has a woop@$$ soundtrack including Clean My Wounds by Corrosion of Conformity (my favorite song), Save Yourself by Stabbing Westward, and The Meaning of Life by the Offspring. Alternitive and metal fan's dream. Most of the Charectors are cool and One of my favorte Anime voice actors Adam Dudly plays the lead. Definately worth buying. Review: This movie is great and I have never seen a better imatation of a game than this. The people and story follows to the point. I truly enjoyed this movie. A little gorey but never the less good.

Review: this movie is one of those movie where you can just sit back and become dumb. theres nothing amazing or amusing. the story and plot is lame and needs alotta improvement. i dont think it was that bad as i make it sound. but to say honestly. there wasent any real story and the action was vary lame and little. i wished they had worked on it more. the dubbing wasent bad in my perspective

Review: This movie is very good,and it can seen many more times then once.
Too bad it is some times completely out of the TEKKEN spirit(in the movie you're gonna see mega violence and nudity),and some dialogues are poorly written.
Apart from those,this is a great movie to spend watching it,just not with your 10- year old kids!
