Summary: By far the best anime ever.
Review: Ninja scroll has all the components of a story you would think about and dream about but never expect to see. Ninja scroll is definetly the best anime movie ever. An Excellent story, great characters, best plot, wicked, un-comparable, balanced action scenes. I actually feel bad for anyone who hasn't seen this movie. It's just a masterpeice. It's sadning, but there's just something about, the way the story developes, the surprises, the shocks, the adventure, everything. When I first saw this movie I thought it was the best movie ever, I've changed my mind but it's still in my top 10, probably in my top 5. It's un-forgetable.

Summary: Anime has taken over whether you know it or not.......
Review: When I first saw this movie, I couldn't beleive how awesome it was. The animation, storyline, and action are all rolled into one big extravaganza of a movie. I first got hooked onto anime when I viewed this. Not only that, but it has the all the components that regular movies once had but have no more. I used to watch movies a lot, but lately they all have been lame, boring, and tasteless. I tried watching a flick on HBO recently. I won't say the name or the star (because most of you know who it is), but it was so stupid and lame I couldn't watch it for another second. I popped in the NS tape and felt much better. Anime is a powerful force that the mainstream entertainment society knows nothing of and probably can't handle because of the work the anime directors put into it and the complexity of its characters like, in this case Jubei and Kagero. Altogether, anime is the wave of the millenium. That's why you don't see many people at the theaters anymore.

Review: I don't know what you guys are talking about. I saw this movie. The story was ludicrous. The artwork is poor. "HellCity" had a more interesting story. Old anime like "Project A-ko" had much better artwork. "Ranma 1/2" is funnier. This anime really stank.

Summary: Excellent for action, okay for story line
Review: I guess once you have seen so many movies and anime you get to realize that the artwork, story line and creativity don't get much better than Ninja Scroll. Although I believe that the ending could have been a little bit more creative, who can complain with an anime (let's not bring movies into this considering the fact that they are still horrible with creating a realistic fantasy with all of the graphical abilities they have) that delves into the fantastical by creating characters with powers that seem, in some respects, impossible and limited. I believe that this is a great beginning for anime and hope that others do not sit around too long getting a whiff of what people want and need.

Review: Ninja Scroll is an enjoyable romp through ancient Japan involving ninjas (naturally), demons and shoguns. It features stylized animation, imaginative fight scenes, villains with character (rather than Yet-Another-Generic-Bad-Guy) and a story that manages well enough. It holds up quite well compared to the average Hollywood Big-Summer-FX-Blockbuster.But it's not perfect, either. Our heroes don't really change all that much over the course of the film, nor do we learn all that much about them. The end result is a movie that's enjoyable as an action flick, but not as satisfying as it could be.

Summary: Great action film, but it's definitely not for kids!
Review: I recommend this to anyone who seriously likes anme. If you don't, the vulgarity of the movie might seem a little odd. It's not for anyone under the age of 15!! There's a sex scene, rape scene (kinda sorta), and nudity. But don't get me wrong! The plot's great! have fun with it!
