Summary: Top of the line action/adventure anime.
Review: This is one of the best animes I have ever seen. While some animes can get so muddled and complex, the simplicity with which the story unfolds and the characters are developed is something to behold, it's neither condescending nor confusing. This, however, doesn't take away from a richly developed storyline with memorable characters from the heroic to the menacing. A truly enjoyable piece and one to be seen again and again.

Review: Ninja Scroll was an excellent movie. It had a lot of action and suspense to make for a great anime film. The demons were original and creative, unlike how some movies tend to make demons. The best thing about this is it wasn't afraid to show off blood and gore. The story line was also superb and allowed great character development. The movie even had its share of drama, which also built for a good story. I really can't say anthing bad about this movie except that eventually, it ends.

Summary: Great Anime, not pointless sleaze
Review: For those of you who think anime is pointless, you should check this film out. Incredible action, (fairly) engrossing plot, and a little humor thrown in (perhaps unintentionally).I used to think anime was just weird pointless violence and sex, but this is quite the contrary. Yes, there is violence, yes there is sex, but it's all part of the story. There's no weird sex with aliens or anything, but the violence is pretty horrific. Don't buy this for your seven year old who likes Transformers. If you want an action packed Samurai thriller check Ninja Scroll out.

Review: This is both the first and the last of great animation. The movie flows with no bumps or stops or any foolish distractions. Fight scenes that boil your blood are freely used with the final battle topping all other before hand. The is the mesuring stick that all anima should be judged by. But in fairness you should not do this. Because none even compair to it. This is not a great film, but "THE GREAT FILM".

Summary: An excellent piece of work!!
Review: I thought that this was one of the best anime works that I ever saw. The characters were good (although I did not like how Kagero was portrayed was rather sad) I liked the plot and the animation was top notch. Although it contains MANY sexual scenes (of which my mother did not appreciate) but besides that I thought it was great. I did not think of it as particularly violent, I have seen much worse. Personally this was one of my favorite movies of all time. (second only to Ghost in the Shell)

Summary: The finest, most intense anime movies out there!
Review: You have to see this movie to really appreciate the detail. A masterpiece! This movie is the film that got me into anime and its easy to see why. It has incredibly fight scenes, amazing animation quality and a fairly good plot(although the title "Ninga Scroll" has nothing to do with the film). This film is definatly not for kids though, as is the case for most anime feature films.It has some disturbing imagery, and is pretty graphic(not that im complaining). Recommened to anyone lookig for a good anime flick.

Summary: One of the best martial arts movies I have ever watched
Review: I happened to be browsing in the video store and came across "Ninja Scroll". It looked interesting enough to rent. Generally martial art movies (Live or animation) are hit or miss, either a good movie or why the He?? did I buy or rent this but great movies come across only once in a blue moon. This movie just stunned me, it was so intense and vibrant. The action was just spectacular. I was rewinding scenes and playing them back again and again. I was yelling out expletives. I'm originally from NY and I loved this movie.

Review: Ninja Scroll is easily the best action anime currently available on dvd. If you are new to anime this is the disc to start with. Superb animation, a great dub, and above average storyline mix together in a movie that every animator at disney should be forced to study.
