Review: This movie is universally appealing, not just to hardcore anime fans. It has an original story and great characters, plenty of nudity and sex(not too much or too little: just right), and some of the best fights you will ever see. It is suspenseful right to the climatic ending. If you are new to anime and have grown up watching U.S. kiddie crap, YOU MUST SEE THIS MASTERPIECE

Summary: Excellent animation, action-packed, good story line...
Review: I really enjoyed watching this anime. The animation is one of the best. The story-line can be hard to understand with its political background. But the basic (action) story-line is pure fun and suspense. However there's one thing weakening this anime. It's the presence of erotical scenes, which kills the climate of ninja wars.

Review: Wow all the reviews so positive?... im truely disapointed at the lack of comments besides "best anime of all time"... man.. sad.. i wouldn't rank it in the top ten.... lots of action.. easy to follow story line.. accually your smacked with it.. no indepth plot or character development.. if your looking for great action i'd take Bubble Gum Crisis DVD collectors suite... much better imho... ghost in the shell is good.. very slick battle with the tank...but macross plus is way better visual wise....... my review point there is no story... if your looking for bloody battle scenes......

Summary: Great Anime despite what some say.
Review: Wow. People either really loved or really hated this movie. Personally, I thought it was great. True, there is sex and gore, but that's typical of an anime. The story line is good and the animation is excellent. For those out there who thought that this movie was mysogynistic, keep in mind that the Japanese have different attitudes towards sex and women than Americans do. Being a student of Japanese language and culture myself, I have to contend that this movie is very Japanese. No American film would have a female whos technique is to poison you if you sleep with her.

Review: I am just working with the reviews others have put in, I do agree, best anime I have ever seen. But they did go a little overboard with the sex and violence, the reviews I have read are accurate, both the good, and the bad. i can relate with all of you. But, the good outweighs the bad, so 5 stars. =) Hehe, I do not think you can put an agelimit on this, but more a maturity limit. It all depends, I am 14 and I loved it, but people say, 10 shouldn't. There is a fine line. Enjoy!

Review: This movie is practically an animated porno, nothing but a cheep excuse to show nudity in a cartoon, and yet it was so damn dirty. If you're looking for a cheep thirll watch this one. The only good thing about this movie was the animation.

Review: I've seen the people saying that this movie has too much nudity and gore in it, but in my mind, that's essential to the plot. I've also heard people saying that it's plot is stupid, but the plot is one of the best I've ever seen. If you want an anime film, this definitely the one to get, no question about it.

Review: It combines the technical details of good quality anime with the level of gore usually associated with a slasher flick. Wouldn't let my daughter watch it but I enjoy seeing it from time to time.
