No, there is no English language option. Nor should there be. The tanslators and voice actors would only mess it up.

No, there aren't a lot of special features. Maybe those inclined to fifteen hours of featurettes should sell the DVD player and watch E! all day.

Now, to discuss the movie. If you don't know Shirow, you should. He is a prolific writer and artist with a keen mind. His work has always focused on the problems we humans have with each other. The cyborgs (and mecha etc. etc.) are merely tools to point this out. You're out of luck if you're looking for some kind of cyborg movie. It's not about cyborgs. Not really.

Shirow has a skill for shining light into the darkness of this terchnological jungle we're creating, and everything, from design to engineering, idea to technique, must be as original as it is realistic.

:Innocence is a fabulous ride, with glorious effects and an immortal story. Do not miss it.
