Summary: WHO AM I?
Review: The plot of Kiddy Grade continues to thicken. After a near-death experience in Volume 3, Eclair is beginning to have visions of her past lives. While it has yet to be explained, the best I can clue into is that ES members have long histories, and are virtually immortal, having their memories erased in order not to be limited by their pasts. As Lumiere has visions of wiping out entire planets, she is sent on a mission with Lumiere to aid two fellow ES members stuck in a dangerous situation.

Episode 11 concerns the planet Aure, a world which has been artificially cultivated to be a close replica of Earth. It's the number one vacationing spot in the universe. So it should be a paradise, shouldn't it? Wrong! It is run by the Nouvlesse, an business organization sorta like a legalized mafia that holds a great percentage of the capital of the universe. It has imposed a virtual enslavement of the native population, seeing them as less than human. As expected, the workers want better conditions and demand basic human rights and threaten to start a revolution. Their rulers call in G.O.T.T to destroy this "economic terrorism". Eclair MUST follow her orders, or does she?

In the last episode on the dvd, Eclair, Lumiere, and the reluctant auditor Armblast, are forced to seek a hiding place after the two girls disobey direct orders. They are thrown out of G.O.T.T and are to be hunted down and captured, dead or alive. It's still unknown who of their former allies will now become their enemies.

Kiddy Grade still continues to please with its orchestral soundtrack and epic storylines, even though some of the plot is enigmatic at times. You get a feeling of being overwhelemed by the world of this excellent series. It has a lot of depth and the feeling of past lives just adds to the layering. You really have to watch it many times to catch everything and get full enjoyment.
