Summary: Gundam Wing = GOD
Review: Gundam Wing is the single most amazing, most revolutionary anime series of all time. Not just the best Chapter in the series of greats, I believe that it has the best animation, music, voice ( even dubbed ), and ends the series perfectly. The final movie was amazing, but on this perticular DVD (if I can remember the episodes right)... is cool... I can't remember... Sorry! I haven't seen the whole series in 2 years. But I do know it it my favorite anime series (as well as Dragonball Z, both have magnificent themes). yeah...

Summary: The turning point in the series!
Review: I've heard some of the episodes on this DVD referred to as the "turning point" in Gundam Wing, and I must say, I couldn't agree more. In these episodes, while for most of the characters, the battle seems to be edging towards their favor, the exact opposite is happening for Quatre. After the assasination of his father, he swears revenge against the colonies which are arming themselves with weapons, and discovers the blueprints for the never finished Wing Gundam Zero... even if you're not an insane raving lunatic Quatre fan like I am, there are moments centered around ALL the G-Boys (except maybe Wufei). Episode 22 focuses mainly on the Oz characters, and episode 23 on Duo; also, there's a GREAT scene involving Trowa in episode 25 that I believe is a crime to miss. My basic point is that these episodes are ESSENTIAL to the series; a must watch for any fans of Gundam Wing. The only reason I don't currently own it is that it hasn't been released yet, and I'm going to strike as soon as it's out...

Summary: NEW GUNDAMS SUITS!!!
Review: IN this DVD u'll get to see SOME new gundam suits, such as VAYATE and MERCURIUS in action! also WING ZERO, ALTRON, and Deathscythe Hell! the kewl and tyte suits r out. U can see quatre becoming a phycho, while Trowa and Heero try to save him. if u want to know how Quatre became a phycho than u just have to buy this DVD and find out. also the Lunar Base is making new suits for OZ. they're pretty strong but no match for DEathscythe hell and altron. u get to see them rip those suits apart!

Review: INTRODUCTION:
Ever since the late seventies, the Gundam series has been one of the most successful and widely-loved anime series in the world. It has become a favorite of many over the years. There have been several different sub-series over the years, and one of the most popular ones of which is the Wing series, released in the mid-nineties. This is a DVD featuring episodes fromt that series. Read on for my review.BASIC PLOT:
The Gundam Wing series follows the exploits of five young men who pilot mobile suits against the forces of an organization seeking world domination. There's Heero (the main man), Duo (the cool guy), Trowa (the quiet guy), Quatre (the peace-lover), and Wufei (the overconfident hothead.) The battle rages on for forty-nine episodes, and as the series progresses, a number of plot twists keep things interesting. This is a rare example of a series where the characters aren't paper thin - they continue to evolve as the series progresses. This is one of the best anime series out there, as one of the best mecha series. SERIES OPINIONS:
To put it simply, this is an excellent series. Many fans of the Gundam series call this the best sub-series of all, and honestly, who can blame them? The storyline is great, the animation is great, the characters are great - everything about this series is great. It's good to see the series get a long overdue DVD release in America. DVD:
These DVDs are good, because they contain several uncut episodes, but they're bad in that they don't contain any special features (that is, other than the very basic DVD stuff.) The series is one of the greatest anime series out there, but don't expect any bonus material. OVERALL:
Overall this is an excellent anime series, and I recommend it to any anime or mecha fan. If you like either one, this series will not disappoint.

Summary: Consistent quality shows in this release
Review: My standard disclaimer applies. I am not reviewing the artistic merits of this release. I'm reviewing the technical merits of this release. The Mobile Suit Gundam Wing DVDs have been of consistently high quality throughout the series. Despite some minor fumbles early on, the DVDs have been a pleasure to watch from a technical point of view. This release is no exception. The image quality is good. There are only infrequent and minor decompression artifacts to be seen. They should not distract the viewer if their TV is properly set up. Edge enhancement is only slightly worse than on an uncompressed NTSC source. The sound is still only stereo. It's stereo encoded in the Dolby Digital 2.0 format but it's stereo none-the-less. Fans of Gundam Wing will probably like this DVD. With 5 episodes of the series, good picture and adequate sound, I feel it represents a good entertainment value.

Review: Quarte has gone insane after watching the death of his father at the hands of OZ. Quarte starts to destory colonies with a very powerful gundam, The Gundam they called Zero. Heero and Trowa are ordered to destory the new mobile suit, but Quarte ends up almost killing Trowa. After the battle with Heero and Quarte, there is no telling that Trowa is alive or dead.

Summary: A Gundam Of A Success!
Review: The DVD of Operation 5 is another brilliant installment into the GW saga. It is one of my favourite subplots, with the turn in character of Quatre and his downfall from that loving caring and strong Arab pilot, to the psychotic vengeful killer. We see some of the most tense moments in the entire Gundam Wing series, including the fate of Nanashi, Trowa Barton ('No Name') The fans of the fighting also get to see new models, including the introduction of the ZERO system; a mind warping and controlling mechanism, installed into the suits to give the pilot the greatest power, yet minimum control over who they should or shouldn't be fighting. Tension builds throughout the entire 5 episodes, a true turning point in the seemingly simple war plot. Now the Gundam Pilots are turning against each other...

Summary: The Gundam They Called Zero
Review: What can I say? Episode 25 and 26 of Gundam Wing is the best cliff-hanger I've ever seen in an show (anime or otherwise) ever. You've got Trowa nearly killed, Quatre gone completely insane in an ultra-powerful mind warping mobile suit, heero ready to fight him to the death in the only mobile suit with a shield system, Roamafeller betraying Treize and Lady Une, the rest of the pilots and the scientists running out of air...and sweet mother of mobile suit, that's one awesome ending shot at the end of Episode 25! One of the best battles in the whole series is Heero vs. Quatre, and when Lady Une gets shot...let's just say that I was in shocked disbelief (near tears) over the death of a character that I once loved to hate. If you get only one Gundam Wing dvd, get this one. And watch "The Gundam They Called Zero". You won't regret it.
