Summary: Little ones will dance away
Review: After accepting a babysitting job for a friend, I was introduced to this DVD by their one year old son. Like most little children, once is never enough. We had the DVD on most of the day and I knew all the songs by heart. But best of all, I wasn't completely sick of the show! The songs are silly, but catchy. And I got a kick out of watching the little boy dance to 'Barbara Manatee'. :) With the Christmas season coming up, this would be a delightful present to find under the tree.

Review: Boy, is this dvd funny! It really is nice to see a toddler enjoy a video this much. Mine just sits there mesmerized by his "cucumber" video. Very funny stuff - great for a rainy day or just when you've had a bad day at work!

Review: Ever wondered which silly song from the Veggie Tales videos is the silliest? Well, you are just about to find out! Hosted by the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything (aka Larry the cucumber, Pa Grape, and Mr. Lunt), "The Ultimate Silly Song Countdown" is, well... just what is says. The countdown to which song is the silliest of all! After collecting votes from Veggie Tales fans, you'll be able to know the results. Is it "The Cheeseburger Song"? "I Love My Lips"? "The Hairbrush Song"? Find out as you watch this hilariously fun 43 minutes program!For a while I've been thinking that the Veggie Tales are only for younger kids and especially not for teenagers. But after getting a few tapes from my friends and watching them, I realized I was totally wrong! I just really LOVE the videos and I've been enjoying watching them with my parents! And probably my most favorite Veggie Tale is "The Ultimate Silly Song Countdown". The songs are just so silly that my parents and I were just laughing, laughing, and laughing! In our opinions though, are favorites are "Endangered Love" and "I Love My Lips". The "Water Buffalo Song" is pretty fun, too. And it's not just the songs which are great, whenever the countdown machine malfunctions, you get to watch the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, who are also extremely silly. So if you like Veggie Tales, heard of it, or even if you've never even heard of it, I highly recommend you watch this tape! (And also, don't miss the dance mixes of the silly songs at the very end.) The other Veggie Tale videos are also very enjoyable with great Christian values, each teaching a very valuable lesson. One of my favorites is "King George and the Ducky", which teaches about selfishness.

Summary: Best Veggie-Tales Collection
Review: For anyone who watches Veggie-Tales on the edge of their seat just waiting for a "Silly Song with Larry" to come on; For anyone who has ever started humming a certain song about a cheeseburger while in line at a store; For anyone who has ever wondered where their Water-Buffalo is; For anyone who has ever been to Lip Rehab in Poland and searched for someone with similar experiences of their own to talk with about because I mean how many people have actually had terrible accidents involving their lips that they can talk about with someone else, it's such a rare occurence, unless someone delibarately tries to hit you in the lip, or even throw somehting so it bounces off your nose and hits your lip, giving you a broken nose as well as two busted lips, but maybe they were just mad because you kept yelling "USTA!" at them.

Review: I absolutely adore VeggieTales films, they are so much fun and are totally hilarious. :) Before I deliberate upon this edition to the VeggieTales film collection, I just have one thing to say. If you haven't seen VeggieTales before, no matter what age you are, go to your local film store, get online,etc... wherever it is that you buy films, and purchase at least one, I don't believe anyone could be sorry after buying a VeggieTales animated film. :)
Ok, here goes on my review... ;) Veggie Tales- The Ultimate Silly Song Countdown is the, um, Ultimate Countdown to discover just which of Larry's Silly Songs are the whipped cream of the banana split, the cream of the crop, the cheese of a cheeseburger, well, you get the point. Included in The Ultimate Countdown are wonderful songs such as, "Barbara Manatee," "the Pirates who don't do anything," "The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps." As well as others, but which one will be the #1 Silly Song. My lips are sealed, to find out all you have to do is borrow, rent, or purchase it, how much better could it be?

Summary: Monty Python meets wholesome veggies!
Review: I received this DVD as a gift before I really knew much about the VeggieTales. Now, I find myself singing about sneezing Cebus (a kind of cow) and rapping about Chinese food while at work! Other song topics include a Yodeling Veterinarian, a cucumber with a missing hairbrush, craving a cheeseburger and loving your lips! These songs are truly addictive and my 4 year old daughter has all the words memorized. My 16 month old comes running into the room if he hears the songs playing! For those of you who are turned off by the fact that VeggieTales is written and produced by Christians, please do not let that scare you away. Clean, wholesome entertainment is hard to find - you will find no farts or deep belching here - and on this DVD at least, there are no blatant Christian references. Monty Python fans will appreciate the quirky humor. A winner all around!

Review: I was originally looking for a Baby Einstien DVD for my nephew, and stumbled across someones Amazon list; this person loved the Veggie Tales. I ended getting this one; it was a hit with my nephew AND his parents. Everytime we get in the van, we all yell out what song we want to hear. The funny thing is, my sister knows ALL of the songs yet hasn't SEEN the DVD (she's usually driving). It's a fun DVD from start to finish and the songs are verrrrrry catchy!

Summary: I'm 25 with no kids and I own this video!
Review: I'm not into the religious thing that this show normally promotes. While religious morals are not the worst thing to teach these days, often this series is annoyingly preachy, and that's what turned me off about the other VeggieTales videos I've seen. What makes THIS video cool, is that it is purely the silly songs with no religious overtones. That's why I would recommend this video to anyone, with or without kids. Anyone with a sense of humor will find something to laugh at in this video. How can you keep a straight face while watching a cucumber look under the bathtub, while wrapped in a towel, for his hairbrush? The "dance of the cucumber" is also hilarious, as is "the pirates who dont do anything." (I never licked a spark-plug?) The only song I dont care for is the "cheeseburger song," so my overall rating would be a 4.5. Again, this video has enough wacky humor for anyone to enjoy, and really is a must-own for any fan of wacky animation. Long time fans of the show will probably find nothing new here, except the weird chinese menu song, and should probably save their money. For everyone else who likes the wacky characters and silly songs without the gospel preachiness, this is the only VeggieTales video you'll need to own. Well, except for their X-mas one!

Summary: GREAT SONGS AND A LESSON IN NOT ALWAYS WINNING
Review: It's hard not to like every veggie tale song. This collection is nice because it is the very best songs and a story line of three characters that carry you from one song to the next. During the countdown we learn a lesson in being happy with what you get (in this case 2nd place) rather than trying to cheat to win first place.
