Summary: A good remake of a biblical story
Review: This is a good video. The songs are very good as well. It's dissapointing that the catchy bunny song in the song you're not supposed to sing, but in the Silly Sing A-long there's a better version that you CAN sing! My only gripe about this video is the super-fast way in which Mr. Nezzer learns his lesson. Of course, that's the way it happened in the Bible, but it is quite unbelievable. I also would like to remind any confused people out there that the bunny song DOES support bad things, because that's what it is SUPPOSED to do! It's the song that the kids don't sing because they want to be good.

Summary: Good, but for older children
Review: This is an excellent re-telling of the Biblical story, but I would recommend it for older children.

My four-year-old was terrified of Mr. Nezzer, especially when Rack, Shack, and Benny were thrown into the fiery furnace.

As usual, it's an enjoyable Veggie Tale, with some catchy songs, such as "The Bunny Song." The song sung by Bob the Tomato's mother is a particularly beautiful song - one of the most beautiful songs on all of the Veggie Tales videos. Kudos to the talented singer!

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: This is one of the best children's videos I've ever seen, and my 4-year-old son's continual re-playing of it is testament to that -- he has very discerning taste!

The music is sophisticated and catchy, and the humor is top-notch. (You'll wake up singing the songs.) The animation was created using the same technology as was used in Toy Story, and is outstanding.

The best part of all of this is that the message is squeaky clean. It's a bible story -- Meschach, Shadrack and Abednego in the furnace.

These videos are the best thing to come along in a long time. Three cheers for Big Idea Productions!

Summary: A fun way for children to learn good positive messages.
Review: This video and the Toy That Saved Christmas are our family's favorites. We watch these videos instead of some of the "junk" the cable channels try to sell as children's programming. The kids never tire of them. They are perfect for preschoolers! I recommend these to all my friends with small children or grandchildren.

Summary: This series is one of the best out for children and adults
Review: This video is one of the favorites of my twin toddlers. It provides a great reference biblically, while at the same time is entertaining and educational. The Veggie series is one that parents can in fact enjoy, the animation is top notch, and once you get one of Larry's "Silly Songs" in your head, you can't help but hum along. It is exciting to see a company produce a moral product which is of HIGH quality.

Summary: Funny Even Without the Bunny Song
Review: Veggie Tales star in the story of the Fiery Furnace. Rack, Shack and Benny are faced with a challenge to their faith - bow down to a god other than the God they believe in or die. Our three heroes bravely, albeit a bit hesitantly at first, stand up for what they believe in and get sent to the Fiery Furnace. But their God remembers them just as they remembered Him and intercedes in a majestic way, amid plenty of light and awestruck bystanders. The songs in this movie are catchy and the message is solid - stand up for what is right, no matter the cost. The Silly Songs segment features Larry performaing "The Dance of the Cucumber" which is the most hilarious Silly Song ever!!! The translation by Bob the Tomato is guaranteed to leave you laughing as you watch Bob's gradual slide from mildly miffed to all out aggravated at his friend Larry the Cucumber! See this movie - you'll finish it cheered and smiling.

Summary: It's Not About Nutrition.
Review: Veggie Tales' RACK, SHACK, AND BENNY is a retelling of the Biblical story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. You know, those three guys who were best friends of Daniel (the guy famous for being thrown into a lion's den and interpretting the handwriting on the wall) who were thrown into a fiery furnace for their refusal to worship anyone but God. Instead of Babylon, this Veggie version of the story takes place in a far-off candy factory where world famous Nezzer Chocolate Bunnies are made. Larry, Bob, and Junior Asparagus star as the title trio.

Like most Veggie Tales, this one is filled with humor and wit that appeals not only to kids, but to adults as well. The lesson in the film is not about proper nutrition (as some seem to think), but instead is about standing up when you think things are wrong and not compromising one's integrity by bowing down to peer pressure.

The Silly Songs with Larry in this episode is popular "Dance of the Cucumber". Look for the rip on Disney parody, if you're not observant it will pass you by.

Summary: Love these guys
Review: What great stuff! Fantistic animation, wonderful characters, a solid easy to understand message (stand up for what you believe in, God is right there with you), and best of all, wonderful music. My daughter loves this, almost half as much as I do.
