Summary: Garlic Bad As Ever
Review: These episodes are great because they show how time has passed since the battle with Frieza. Gohan is older and all of Earth's fighters are much stronger. These episodes include Gohan, Piccolo, Kame, and Krillen with the return of the evil Garlic Jr. Garlic Jr. is trying to take over the world and kill Earth's fighters with making them fight against their friends. I would say this was a perfect time to bring back Garlic Jr.

Summary: "Quite possibly the greatest DBZ video shown in America"
Review: This is so great. I loved it. The music was good, the characters were...themselves, and the plot is very good. Garlic Jr escaped the dead zone, and is up to no good (If you did not already see the movie dead zone, it is a good idea to see that first, although lots will be explained). He uses the black water mist to enslave the people of the world so his father can become the guardian of the earth, and gohan and krillin have a day to save it. They do this by invading the captured Kami's Floating Palace, and using the sacred water to negate the effects. Truly a great saga, but with a rediculous ending, which will be on another tape. This saga remains a must-see for all true fans though. This film was unedited, so it had more of Akira Toryiama's greatness. There is a new introduction on this tape, and the voices are still not as good as the original voices in America. Great news for all dbz fans...The android saga will be here soon, as shown on a preview before the tape starts. It appears funimation got serious in working on some episodes, and it looks like there will be a bright future for dbz in america.

Review: This tape is great, especially as it is uncut. I'm sure that the cut dub would be real bad, like the covering with more bathing suit for Marin and no swears. It's great how the new censors are letting in Roshi's pervertic ways, and also I'm sure if the old sensors were in on this, we would regret it. (If you saw the 2nd episode of DBZ, you see they censored tears.)

Review: Well... it's been a year and a half since I first wrote a review of this tape and... God, I'm scared. I can't really believe that I was so naive. To put it bluntly, the whole Garlic Jr. saga is boring; it's based on DBZ movie 1, but its only good points, if any, are the fact that we get to see some of the Dragon Ball-type humor involving Roshi... that's not enough of a redeeming quality to invest in it, unless you're trying to complete a collection. If you are, then just wait for the DVD. The Japanese versions of these episodes are better by comparison, but they're still not good.So... there you have it.

Review: WHY MUST YOU ASK? WELL, AFTER SEEING THE LAST EPISODES, THIS SEEMED WIMPY. I MEAN, GOHAN BEAT THIS GUY WHEN HE WAS 5 YEARS OLD AND WAS STRONGER THAN GOKU, IN THE FIRST MOVIE. AND AFTER FACING FRIEZA THIS GUY SHOULD BE A ... ANT IN COMPARISON. IM SO SURE 3 OF THE WORLDS GREATEST FIGHTERS THAT FOUGHT SO MANY BATTLES AN CAME OUT ALIVE AND STRONGER EACH TIME. GARLIC OUGHT TO BE A BIG PUSH OVER TO THESE GUYS. BUT ITS AS IF THE Z FIGHTERS HAVE WIMPED OUT. SORRY TO BE SAYING THIS TO ANY DBZ FAN BUT DONT BUY THIS ONE. IM A BIG DBZ FAN MYSELF AND HAVE ALL EPISODES UP TO GARLIC. AND I WOULD HAVE TO SAY ITS THE WORST IVE SEEN YET. JUST HARD TO COMPARE TO THE FRIEZA SAGA WITCH TOTALLY ROCKS. GOOD TO WATCH ONE TIME MAYBE, BUT DONT INVEST IN A COPY YOU WONT WATCH IT AGAIN BELEIVE ME. AT LEAST THE TRUCKS SAGA HAS STARTED, NOW DO INVEST IN IT. WELL WORTH THE MONEY. THANK YOU! DBZ FANS
