Summary: One piece of garbage.
Review: This is without doubt one of the worst pieces of animation I have ever seen. The predictable storyline, disgraceful character developement and cheap stills. Avoid this and watch dagger of kamai or ninja scroll. Don't even rent it or think about it. This is not quite good.

Summary: Ok but fun to watch
Review: This movie is OK. It isn't the greatest anime I've ever seen but it by far isn't the worst anime I have seen. First of all it is REALLY dopey. It's about a ninja named Shishimaru who is seeking revenge on an "imortal ninja killer" named Ginnai Doma who killed one of Shishimaru's friends and nearly killed him. This movie is good in the sense that it is just a simple, fun movie to watch on a rainy day or if you have nothing else to do. Be warned though... it has the WORST ending to any movie I have ever seen, anime or not. The animation is good sometimes but pretty bad most of the time. It is alittle confusing in the sense that it takes place in the 1500's and there are robots(!) that kill ninjas and the like. What is confusing about that is that there is absolutly no explaination of how they got here. All they say is that the leader of the robots and people with guns and tanks "shouldn't have them." So, if you are looking for an alright anime that is fun to watch (if you dont take it seriously that is) then I recommend it. If you aren't sure if it is for you then rent it before you buy it, so you dont waste money. If you do like this I would also recommend anything dragon ball z (i dont care for it THAT much), or ninja scroll or Blood Reign: Curse of the Yoma.
