Review: I got this tape because of the Japanese hype on the series. All the artwork looked very nice in the promo illustrations, and it was said to be one of the premier anime pieces of the late 1990's. However I found it to be a well drawn and scantily animated rehash of the Irresponsible Captain Tylor series with parodies tying to any great anime space series. The stories don't seem wholly cohesive or decisively written and the choice of shots will leave the viewer wondering what they are looking at sometimes since the camera seems to wander occasionally (a style of filming that was partially successful in the Evangelion series). The female captain seems to be a very pale version of the enigmatic Tylor with a C-cup bra. All in all I wouldn't say this series is a waste of time, infact if you like anime you most likely will enjoy the parody and wit of this series. Mecha fans will find this a neat bundle of episodes. And if you like cute anime babes, this is IT! But if you like the best anime has to offer and find the rest rather sophmorish....you will definitely find this below your par on the animation course.

Review: Okay, this was written by two kids who saw the video on the same day, so both of us get some input. (:From Kaitlin: This was an amazing anime! I'm totally crazy about all things Japanese, but this movie tops 'em all! Its perfect for kids around 12+ up, though I noticed Akito cusses alot. But everything just sort of fits into place. The voice actors did an incredible job, except that alot of the characters voices sound similar. The animation was a lot better than some other films i could mention but won't, and the character designs ROCK! I want to be a character designer when i grow up. Kara:Two thumbs way up! It's pretty neat.But, yurika you know that akito would never ask you to marry him. hate to break your heart but he doesn't like you. Well,thats about it. P.S. our favorite character is Yurika. P.S.S. I agree with Ruri "You're idiots"

Review: This series is awsome! The characters are great, the plot is good, and the animation is on par with Neon Genesis Evangelion. I bought these videos on a whim, as I often do, and this series is one of the greatest I have seen, and I have seen a lot. Buy these tapes, enjoy these tapes!

Summary: Nadesico, Better than the rest ay?
Review: Well, I am normally not one to go for dubbed anime, since of course, bad dubbing has killed many of my favorites, and made them pieces of...garbage (does DBZ ring a bell?). But, I must say, this puts all of that aside, and makes a great name for US dubbing. Since I to, have this whole series in Japanese, I must say, that so far, everything is looking good! This US release is really shining! If you are looking for a more happy-go-lucky mech anime , this is the one, because not only does it include great action ala Gundam Wing and others, but it is funny as H--L! So support this anime, because its not everyday that a great anime like this comes out! With great characters such as Akito, Gai, Yurkia, Megumi, and the rest of the Nadesico gang, you cant go wrong! Its amazing how they develop so well throughout the series, so you must stick with this one! GEKIGAN-CROSS! ^_^ Ja'neh! -Hameln-

Summary: One of My All-time Favorite Animes!
Review: Martian Successor Nadesico is a really great show. I have seen the whole series and I can tell you that it just keeps getting better and better. I love the way it satirizes just about every kind of anime there is. It's really funny, but also touching, with great characters and great animation.

Review: This a GREAT anime, it have action, mech, romance, and comedy. It has a great introduction to the series too, it start with a battle in space between two starships vessel and the grphic is great. The characters design is also very good. All I could tell you is that this is a MUST HAVE!

Review: This has to be my favorite anime that I've ever seen. This is one of the few really great dubbed animes out there because the acting was great and every character seemed to have the right voice for them. I'd reccommend this one to anyone who wants to have a good, fun time. Even if you don't even care for anime you'll like this one. You should buy this one now or as soon as you can so you can add it to your collection.

Summary: Genkinger Punch!
Review: This may seem like another anime that is about robots, girls and aliens, and it is. But this one is just so damn funny. The main charcter is a boy who wants to be a cook instead of a fighter piolit. The ships captain is a total air head and the crew is made up of mostly of beautiful women. One of the sane charcters is a robot girl who thinks everyone is a complete fool, and she is right. One of the main fighter piolits is obsessed with an anime show Genkinger. He makes everyone watch it when they are taken prisoner. This show is the cooks main motivator, pretty sad another anime show motivates this one charter, but that part of the humor. Another weird thing is that the communication officer used to be employed as a voice actor for an anime( talk about a spoof on spoof.) This anime is too funny to get dubbed into english, so much of the dialogue goes very fast and it would be a crime to dub this into english. Make the wise decision and get this subtitled. This is the first volume in the series which I can not wait to finish. The last episode ended with a cliff hanger that is eating away at me.

Review: Mobile Battleship Nadesico is the last hope for mankind. The war in space has lead to Earth being surrounded by the Aliens...the last hope is for the mightest space battleship, Nadesico, to break free and take the fight to the enemies. Nadesico has the most powerful weapons, backed by an array of giant fighting mecha. Crewed by the most brilliant captain (?) and brave crew, the Nadesico is Earth's last chance. Nadesico is one of the best anime series I had the chance to view. I was fortunate to see the first 12 episodes at a con, and I was hooked after the first episode. This series has it all for the anime fans. Giant robots, big spaceship battles, amazing technology, great lines, fantastic comedy, cute anime babes ^_^ , but it also does a fantastic job of surprising you with the way it will depart from other anime series. Even making fun of stereotypical anime in its portrayl of two characters obsession with the anime show Geikganger (an anime series we see in Nadesico). ^_^
