Summary: "Lord Slug"
Review: After years of waiting, the 4th DBZ movie has finally been released! Remastered with rock music by Deftones, Disturbed, and much more!When a dark vessel descends from the surface of an approaching asteroid, Gohan, Icarus, Oolong, and Bulma go to investigate. What they find is a powerful new enemy who is after the Dragon Balls. His name is Slug, and he wants to be young again, so he calls upon Shenron, the Eternal Dragon, to grant his wish. Later, after all hope seems lost, Goku and Krillin finally arrive. Krillin is easily tossed aside by Lord Slug and fights Goku. The battle starts out as Goku can barely make Slug flinch, and ends when Goku goes Super Saiyan for the first time! Lord Slug is impressed by this power, but also reveals a secret about himself, he's a Namekian! He is one of the ancient Nameks who discovered the key to unlocking a greater power within, and therefor he became a Super-Namek. But he became intoxicated by his new power and began to misuse it. So the Namekians used Porunga (the Eternal Dragon of planet Namek) to banish him from Namek. And so Slug lives in the dark shadows of his own hatred and regret. Summary: WHAT THE HECK
Review: All the people who think this movie is the best is horribly wrong.
This movie just [junk,] i mean, story line, plot, everything is just a mess, just slapped on all together. And the music is just out of there, it definetly does not go with the movie. Heavy metal music playing in all the wrong places. And Goku who supposably turns super saiyan is also [junk] because he lights up all red and his pupils disapear as he gets all strong. IT doesnt make sense at all. Even the extras stink, just a bunch of commercials. THe worst of the dbz movies ive seen( I am a die hard fan of dbz and have seen everything of dbz i could get my hands on and frankly this one just [smells!)

Summary: Some things should be banned
Review: Alright, there are some things that should just be banned in this world, and DBZ Movie 4 is definitely at the top of that list. I own the Japanese version of it, and it is extremely stupid. It's boring, has an unoriginal plot, and has some really useless things, such as Goku's False Super Saiya-Jin move. And the whole Namek turning into a giant monster thing is really stupid too. Trust me, if you are going to spend your money on a DBZ DVD, try something more along the lines of the Junior World Division DVD's, because this is just a waste of time and money.

Summary: Lord Slug review
Review: Dragonball Z' 4th movie gets 4 stars. I give the movie 3, but since the music was so good, I gave it a 4. Disturbed, and Deftones provide this movie with awesome effects to the fight scenes. Some of the story is pretty boring, but Gohan's whistle makes me watch it over and over. Most of the movie is pretty funny, but the action scenes are pretty cool. Though, it's kinda late to release it, it's worth buying. If you think this is gonna be filled with Trunks, super sayins, and Goten you're wrong. Goku can't even go super sayin yet.

Summary: This is the worst DBZ movie next to #11
Review: I didn't like it because the animation is bad and the plot is stupid. Goku doesn't go super saiyan like it says in the japanese title for the movie. It is almost as bad as movie 11. ...Also the characters are stupid like slug the super namek. If you are going to bye a DBZ movie then buy a fansub of movie 6 or 8(6 is the second one with coola and 8 introduces brolli). But don't buy lord slug.

Summary: I happen to think its a great movie.
Review: I don't understand this Super Sayian thing. I never saw any advertisements for there being any mention of Goku Turning Super Sayian. And as for someone who said the Namek turning into a giant was a stupid idea...maybe...but it did happen in Dragon Ball (before DBZ) near the end of the series when Piccolo fought Goku as Ma Junior. So its not like they just tossed that in there and hoped everyone liked it. It was something that people know Nameks can do, if they've seen DB or read the Dragon Ball Mangas. Some may not have known this since I don't think it happened at all in DBZ. I loved the idea of using the awesome heavy metal sound track in the back ground of the English cut. The way it was soft during the talking, then boomed when the action began, and I thought the fight scenes were pretty cool. Tree of might was my favorite until seeing Lord Slug. I think this movie was made pretty well. Great soundtrack, love the voice actors, the animation was better than in the earlier movies, the plot may not be origional, but at least it had a plot. Anyone who has seen the release of Angel Links, a really bad waste of money, would have to agree with me on that. I think this is a great movie for those who are DB, DBZ and DBGT fans. I agree that if you're not a DBZ fan you may not get into it, but hey, thats with any movie. If you're not a martial arts fan, why watch a Jackie Chan flick? If you don't like "chick Flicks" Why go see "Moulan Rouge"? This is just a matter of love/hate. You either have to love DBZ, or you won't like the movie. Thankfully, I LOVE DBZ!! And this movie ROCKS!!

Review: I dont know how many people have seen the Japanese version of this movie, but it was horrible. Hardly any music at all, boring, and makes you wanna go to sleep. On the other hand, the English version has great music that makes the movie much much better. I just wanna say that It was a big suprise to me how much better it was with the music. (...)

Summary: DragonBall Z lord slug
Review: I give this movie 5 stars, becuase i think that it is great that funimation is listening to fans now and putting out subtitled dvd's, but they still are not leaving everything in, like there is nudity, and they cut that even on uncut versions, same with the swearing, the fans want to hear vegita cuss not say stupid words, so if funimation would do that they would sell lots more, and on top of that they should also realease subbed tapes, because they would have the best quality aroud, but have the tapes sell for less than 9 bucks, becuase they dont have to edit or anything so less work for them, means they should lower the price as well.

Summary: Not so good, just 'cause it's Dragon Ball
Review: I have this movie in japanese and Spain's spanish, and from the next movie, the #5 (Freezer's Brother: Cooler), starts the Super Saiyan scenes, this movie it's not as good as the Broly and Fusion ones, but it's good; at least u must buy it 'cause: it's Dragon Ball. And I was searching for Dragon Ball episodes and movies DVDs, and they're only availables at the U.S. not even Japan!! But I hate some DVD episodes are cutted, like the Dragon Ball Episodes 1-13 box set, ... And I hope this new 'Uncuted versions' Company will release the uncuted versions of all the 3 series and all the 22 movies of Dragon Ball, inlcuiding the Gaiden OVAs ones.
