Summary: Great but missing some stuff
Review: I say that this a great movie but what it's missing is more Team Rocket in it. I mean, what's a movie without lots of appearances from your favourite gang? If Team Rocket made more appearances than this would get from me a perfect 5.

Summary: THE BEST POKEMON MOVIE EVER!
Review: This movie beats every other movie and episode in Pokemon. Ash, Misty and Brock are on thier way to the Johto League when they meet a trainer named Lisa. She takes them to visit Greenville, which is usally a beautiful place, but has been coverered with ice by Unown. They meet Entei, which is an 8-year old named Molly's father now, who steals Ash's mother for Molly's mother. Ash, Misty and Brock go on a rescue mission to get Ash's mother back. When they get to a barrier that they must get through to get to where Molly is. They use Staryu, Pikachu, Charizard, Totodile, and Cyndaquil to help them. What happens next? Find out in this awesome movie!

Summary: From Annoying Nonsense to a Crime Against Anime..
Review: So now its up to number 3? What is truly horrible about this bad, brainless, loud, irritating nonsense is that it overshadows truly decent, well written and animated Japanese Animation. I could talk about "Pokemon 3"'s nonexistent plot, its horrendous artwork and the frightening voice characterizations but that is obvious. Everybody can look at 5 seconds of this "film" and figure that out. My main point is that Pokepuke literally rots your brain due to its intense stupidity. Its producers' lack of respect for their audience is amazing.
People, expect more and you will get more.

Summary: Mabye the worst anime movie ever
Review: This movie was very very predictable and cliche. Over all it was a major dissappointment. The story was absolutly horrible and it seemed it was put together real fast just so they could have a movie with new pokemon in it. This movie is a waste of time and money. I can't believed I was so stupid to waste my money on this junk. The only reason you should buy this is if you were buying this for a little kid that doesn't understand a good movie because this obviously isn't one.

Summary: Da best Pokemon movie to date!
Review: Simply put, this movie is beautiful! The short film, "Pikachu and Pichu", is much better than the previous shorts, basically 'cause Togepi DOESN'T get lost! The main feature, "Spell of the Unown" (or "Lord of the Unknown Tower", however you want to put it) kills both "Mewtwo Strikes Back" and "Pokemon 2000: The Power of One"! Beautifully animated and equipped with a moving plot, "Pokemon 3" is, hands down, the best Pokemon movie to date. Unlike "PK 2000", the characters in "PK 3" actually bend in with the computer-generated graphics. The plot is not as predictable as "PK 1", and it also gives a little background info on Molly and her family, so the audience actually knows what the hell is going on. Not to mention that one of the coolest Pokemon of all appears in this movie.... ENTEI! ^_^ There's only one problem with this movie. Team Rocket is in it for a grand total of five minutes! Team Twerp is way overrated! >_< Hopefully, TR will have a bigger part in "PK 4", but 4Kids may not even bother to put it in theaters, unfortunately. It just might be one of those straight-to-video films.... *sigh* All in all, "PK 3" gets two paws up, and more if I could. Even those who aren't Pokemon fans won't be dissapointed. Show your support to keep Pokemon's flame burning brightly! Ii Kanji!

Summary: Three strikes you're out!
Review: This was my least favorite in the Pokemon movie franchise thus far. While it does introduce us to a lot of new Pokemon from gold and silver, the storyline was half-baked. Again, there was no menacing villain, but at least Ash didn't have to save the world in this one - a welcome change of pace. The main "bad" Pokemon this time are the Unown, who in the games, are a whole lot of nothing, but evidently, they've gained a lot power for the movie. The big deal about this movie was supposed to be Entei, but even he is nothing more than a dream Pokemon created from the imagination of a little girl by the Unown to be her "father figure" to give her anything she wants. Likewise, all the Pokemon battled by the main characters are merely dream Pokemon, but they are so powerful, that everyone's Pokemon gets defeated in battle. Sadly, this includes Vulpix, who FINALLY gets to battle in a movie, only to be easily defeated (and since Vulpix is leaving the cartoon shortly, I will no longer be watching it or any further "Pokemon" movies). However, at least this movie has a definite resolution, and teaches the lesson that you can't live in a fantasy world.

Another problem I had with this movie was that the reunion between Molly and her father doesn't take place until during the ending credits - most people had already left the theater, and probably thought she'd never see her father again. That wasn't very well though out, in my opinion.

The cartoon short before the movie, "Pikachu and Pichu", was basically just a commercial advertising a bunch of new gold and silver Pokemon. The plot wasn't that much different from "Pikachu's Vacation". (But at least, once again, there's a lot of appearances by my favorite, Vulpix!) Again, the cartoon is mostly in "Pokemon-ese", so get out those Pokemon/English dictionaries!

The DVD is standard format, as usual. You'd think by now, with HDTV coming, they'd start making them widescreen. Oh Well...
