Summary: And How!!
Review: I was railroaded into watching the first Trigun by an old friend, but was instantly hooked. I enjoyed the way that the show went from just silly to very deep. This was the climax. Every episode is emotionally charged, and the ending is really unexpected. It is also left open. I sorta wish that I clouda seen more of knives - i liked him better than Lagato anyways.

Summary: The last and best donut.
Review: It had to end sometime. One of the latest and greatest anime series of all time concludes with, appropriately, "High Noon". It's sad to see it end, but oh boy, what an ending. (Warning: If you haven't seen the first seven volumes of 'Trigun', don't worry; you might enjoy this one anyway.) The heat that has been building up as main anti-hero Vash the Stampede reluctantly works his way through the "Final Four" of the Gung-Ho Guns (Midvalley the Horn Freak, Chapel the Evergreen, Caine, and the ultra-cruel Legato) to get to his arch-nemesis Knives finally reaches its boiling point. The grown-up Knives finally makes his first (and last) full appearance in this volume, and just in time. The encounters Vash has with the Gung-Hos are full of intensity and action all the way through this series, and these last ones are the most intense of all. Vash's buddy/sidekick Nick Wolfwood accompanies Vash through some of the action, especially since he's got a big bone to pick with Chapel, the man who turns out to be his former mentor(!). The two have themselves a good old-fashioned showdown in the middle of town as Vash continues to work his way to Knives, and it's pretty sweet. When Vash confronts Legato, what results is one of the most emotional climaxes to a battle in recent anime history; you've just got to see it for yourself. In my opinion, it even outdoes the final battle between Vash and Knives, which comes at the end of the last episode, and that's saying a lot. Vash and Knives engage in a classic gunfight that'll be talked about for weeks, at least. And that's just part of the series' appeal; awesome action that just adds to a terrific and deep story with memorable characters, all in an original futuristic Wild West-type setting. This is anime at its near-best. The only gripe I've had with the whole thing is that the animation could've been a little bit better; but it was a TV series, so it's to be expected. You're not going to watch Volumes 1-7 and not bother with the ending, are you? Quit waiting; the "buy it" button's right over your head. Complete the set; you'll be glad you did.

Summary: Satisfying conclusion to an excellent series
Review: Naturally, anyone who watched Trigun up to this point would be dying to get their hands on this disc. The final four episodes of this wonderful series really punches hard, with some unexpected plot developments, and perhaps one of the most endearing character exits I've ever seen in an animation. Trigun is an anime that managed to entertain at an adult level, but without the immature use of gore and sex that so many "adult" cartoons (both Japanese and American) abuse, and anyone who's watches more than 3 or 4 episodes of it will be hooked. Thats really all that needs to be said. 5 stars on so many different levels.

Summary: The final amazing volume of Trigun arrives at last
Review: The 8th volume of Trigun containing the last 4 episodes finally arrives, and is it ever a blast. Episode 23, "Paradise," starts with Wolfwood reliving his troubled past, and Vash trying to make sense of everything that has happened. Coping with having to kill the child Gung-Ho Gun from the previous episode, Wolfwood tries to justify it by telling himself that he had no other choice, but even he doesn't believe that anymore. Milly tries to comfort him, but doesn't know what to say. As we see some long awaited, excellently done character development, we also learn that two more Gung-Ho Guns are in town, and that Wolfwood has been playing both sides all this time. He's ordered by Chapel to kill Vash in exchange for the lives of the children in his orphanage, but Wolfwood finds himself unable to pull the trigger. The superbly written ending of "Paradise" actually made me break out in tears.Episode 24, "Sin," begins with Vash in LR Town trying to cover up the pain he feels from the events that transpired in the previous episode by laughing and being in his usual good mood, but in the end can't, and starts sobbing. Back in Tonim Town, Milly and Meryl are doing their own grieving. "Sin" brings Vash to the final showdown with Legato as Vash has to choose between his ideals or the lives of his friends. Episode 25, "Live Through," deals with Vash having to cope with yet another death, this one done with his own hands as he prepares both physically and mentally for his final showdown with Knives. And then finally we come to the last episode, "Under The Sky So Blue," half of which is a series of flashbacks which further explain the relationship between Vash and Knives. The second half is the actual showdown where we finally see the great animation that Mad House can produce. The ending is quite suitable for the series, having a "this is not an ending, but a beginning" feel to it. While some may not like it, I did. At the same time I do believe it could have been done better. Trigun has been an interesting show. In all honesty, it didn't really grab my attention until the fifth volume. Before then, it was plagued by filler episodes, an extremely slow moving plot, and more filler episodes. I felt that more could've been done to explain the origins of Vash, Knives', Legato and the others, but all things must come to an end, and this was the way to do it.

Review: This gets away from the comical Vash the stampeed that you either hate or love I personally love it! This like the other previous later trigun volumes 5,6,7 will focus more on story and get farther away from comedy.... But no problem cause this it one of the best series out there! If you saw the negative reveiws on the first volume of the series ignore them it is really funny! I also would recomend cowboy bebop to anyone who loves Trigun.... Iv'e heard people call it a rip off but it is a lot different and its really cool too.(but nuff said about that) This volume vash is gonna "whop" up some bad guys....well the bad guy knives...(actually thats what i predict will happen as of writting this reveiw it isn't out yet :^( ~)snif snif Buy or watch this whole series it is worth it.....

Review: This is it, this is the end of the best anime series ever. And boy, what an ending! I have to admit that I have been in love with Vash the Stampede since the first DVD. So my opinion may be a little biased. The pain and emotions that the characters go through in the last installment will make you break down and cry. And when it is all over, that will make you cry. I still have so many unanswered questions. But I guess that is good, because this anime will always be on my mind. And maybe that is what they wanted. I guess I will never forget all of the great characters of Trigun. Vash, Wolfwood, Meryl, Millie, even Legato and Knives. And there are so many more. Goodbye everyone. Love and Peace!

Summary: How could you not rate this thirteen and a half?!
Review: THIS IS THE COOLEST! After watching the whole series, this just mademe start rolling around the floor all day saying oh my god. Why? Because to someone who watches anime a whole lot and gets thier life twisted by it knows that it just has a certain feeling of 'wow, is that really what it's all about?' And OH MY GOD!, of course ^^
