Summary: One Of The Best Anime Movies Out There!
Review: I had always heard Tenchi Muyo was one of the best anime shows out there but had never had a chance to actually see it, untill I saw this available for rent! This was one of the best movies in anime I have seen in my life! With the right amount of humor, drama, action, and a great score by american composer Christopher Franke make this a movie worth seeing! Plus this movie has some of the best animation displayed in a movie! Tenchi The Movie is a movie see again, and again, and again! Along with it you should pick up the soundtrack, which is good to boot too! A must for any anime fan!

Summary: In all ways everything an anime saga should be
Review: Tenchi Muyo In Love was the first anime movie I ever saw. No wonder that every subsequent anime I saw had to be pretty good for me to like it. TMIL kicks off with one of the coolest openings ever and continues at a fast pace. It never really slows down, yet it's sweetness and comedy are consistent throughout. Tenchi's mother Achika is a wonderful addition to the crew and I wish we could see more of her. There's very little left to say not covered by other reviewers, so just heed their words and buy TMIL. You'll watch it again and again; I'm sure.

Summary: Awsome movie!
Review: This tape is awsome! I love it. I've seen both subbtitled and dubbed. I recommend the subtitled. the dub is good and all, but Ayeka's is distracting in the dub. She sounds like an old lady when her PHYSICAL appearence is about 17. the voices are better in the better in the subtitled version. And the japanese singer at the end has a much better voice. (It's sung by the character Achika) The ending song is awsome. This is a very intence and awsome movie and I recomend it to and Tenchi fan.

Review: With so much humor, action, and fun takoffs on some of the best scifi movies to boot--All with that distictive Tenchi twist--any Anime fan should enjoy this. In fact, if you love a good comedy with some scifi, action, and TONS of bickering, you will enjoy this! Animation is superb, as is the voice cast. This dub ain't no flub; these are top-notch actors, people! So buy this movie, and just have fun! You won't regret it!

Summary: hands down the best anime i've seen in a long time
Review: no doubt, i wouldn't lie to you, i saw this and i was blown away by it. true, the storyline seems to be heavily influenced by "back to the future", but that doesn't stop it from ruling. it's amazing, and i have seen all the "hero" anime (Akira, Ghost in the shell, etc etc), so i know what i'm saying. this one beats them, no doubt. the 2nd movie, well, personally i'd say don't waste your time, unless you're a tenchi fan. have yet to see the third. bear in mind i'm just some geek, so there's that. but i mean it, it's amazing. peace.

Summary: Tenchi Muyo In Love
Review: Tenchi Muyo In Love is an awesome movie. The only reason a person might find it boring is if they aren't very familiar with the anime. This movie follows the storyline of the Tenchi Universe Series. Basically Tenchi Muyo is about a boy named Tenchi who meets up with some strange characters such as 2 princesses from the planet Jurai, 2 galaxy space police officers, a wierd scientific genious, and an insane Space pirate. Many of the characters fall in love with Tenchi and end up fighting over him; which is what you will see in Tenchi Muyo In Love. In The movie Tenchi is going to vanish because of something that happens to his mother 26 years in the past. The whole gang is sent 26 years into the past, with the help of the genious Washuu, to prevent anything from happening to Tenchi's parents. The special affects are very good compared to the anime series and the movie displays many surprises in the plot. I recommend this movie to any anime fan.

Summary: Slightly above average anime
Review: If you know nothing of the Tenchi Muyo series, please note, familiarize yourself with the series. It is very hard to understand and/or follow if you know nothing of the series. Otherwise for everyone else it's an above average experience at best. It's pros- solid animation, wacky charecters, excellent dubbing, intruiging plot and story. It's cons- boring at times, slow to develop, and absense of traditional anime fight scenes and gore. But all the flaws can be overlooked for a good time! P.S.-Fun to see Tenchi's parents in High School!!!

Summary: Slightly above average anime
Review: If you're not familiar with the Tenchi Muyo series then you will have a hard time following the charecters and/or parts of the movie. Even if you haven't you can still enjoy the movie due to solid animation and great dubbing. It's cool to see Tenchi's parents when they where in High School and how they hooked up. It's hilarious to watch the charecters mischeavous and humorous antics throughout the film. In the end, a great moral is learned and everyone lives happily ever after!

Summary: SHOOT ME NOW!
Review: ... I watched the first 30mins thinking, ok so far the plot isdumb, but it could get better. 30mins later... ok, it got worse and the people are very annoying, 30mins later "GOD, Please Just End! ". The moral: The movie is Boring, ...extremely long ( well it felt like it ), has cheesy character interaction, and did I mention how incredibly boring it was. I would not recommend Tenchi Muyo in Love to anyone other than my worst enemies. END
