Summary: Kiddie cartoon
Review: Well after reading how great this anime was I was expecting it to have great art design and cool shoot out scenes. Unfortunately it's not that at all. It's a silly cartoon meant for kids. I enjoyed it as a saturday morning cartoon but not like Ninja scroll or Vampire hunter D anime. It's a very mild anime and not an action packed keep you at the edge of your seat flick. It's funny, it has a kinda like Pokemon humor to it. So if your into blood, guts and cool fight scenes this is not for you. On a side note I think it's over priced for a Saturday morning toon. My advise rent or buy it used you'll thank me later.

Summary: I LOVE Vash!
Review: It's embarrassing to admit it. The series is somewhat juvenile and often predictable. The plot is not always very linear and yet, it's great! This one is a good action introduction to a great character. The unique combination of American love of fire-power and Buddhist ethic against destruction creates a truly unique tension in the tall, lean, blond, colorful character, Vash the Stampee.
Excellent.

Summary: Victory for Vash
Review: The very first episode is just plain hilarious. The cover and introduction have you beliveing that Vash is the coolest of them all, like a Heero Yuy or Spike Speigal....boy are you in for a surprise.

The fact that this guy just happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time makes it an absolute scream.(be warned, it's best suited for ages 13 and up, maybe a little younger) The rest of the episodes are just as funny, but with more of a plot. The animations of his face change so rapidly that you just have to laugh. And when they do, you laugh even harder. He screams like a girl, and runs like a monkey. How could you not like that kinda guy? (he does have a weakness for girls, which makes him all the better ^^)

You have to watch it over and over again! BUY IT NOW!

Summary: Well worth your money!
Review: Trigun and I have a weird orign, I was going to buy it, then saw it's reviews and decided against it. However as more and more people talked about it, I decided to try it out. I am sold on the series. The line 'he's a womanizer of the worst type," still has me laughing at how true it is. he is a womanizer, of the WORST TYPE! Anyway if you like good anime, check it out. The music is great, teh action intense, and the comedy sidesplitting! As a matter of fact, the only downside to the series is I didn't buy the boxed set. Now I'll have to buy that, and sell my Vol 1 back. What a great problem to have with a show, huh?

Summary: the first and the only one ive seen............for now
Review: i got the vhs version for this back then about 2-3 years ago in 1999. the first few minutes are very serious and have good action. and then later on it becomes more of a comedy. each episode (there are four of them)in the tape has a good background stories with the people vash (the main character) meets. vash the stampede is supposed to be a very dangerous outlaw with $$60 billion on his head. but, actually, he just gets blamed for the damages. no one really know how he looks like, so there are all these rumors on him, such as a "big guy with a huge weapon and a mohawk" or "blonde hair, red coat and a handgun" he is very immature and has a big appetite for donuts, call him a goofball if u like. the people that meet him doubt that he could be the "60 billion double dollar man" but, the second rumor is more true and he does have blonde hair, a red coat and a customized handgun. one more thing about him is that he has not killed anyone and he does not shoot anyone, even if they have a gun pointed at him. he's also a bit of a pervert. most of the series is a comedy and there really isnt a real story for the main character (for now). he just moves from town to town. but in the later episodes u learn more about his history and why he has a red trenchcoat (if you've played devil may cry, i must let u know that the creators love trigun, so thats why dante has a red trenchcoat) ive only seen the first four, and i asked myself "what is the point of this?" but recently ive researched that there is more to this anime. so there is no point just checking out the first tape/dvd of trigun and judge it right away because it misleads u. rent or borrow the second and third versions before judging it. the first tape although i thought was funny. (forgive me for not capitalizing letters and etc.)

Summary: Donuts, Guns, and One Blond Moron
Review: This is some classic anime. Although Trigun is only 3 years old (animated in Japan in 1998), this anime has all of the stuff it takes to be great. Where most anime's have that young, depressed, insensitive, and sometimes stereo-typical main character, Trigun stars a blond donut-freak of a man, Vash the Stampede. Vash is an outlaw, and a stupid one at that. Add one man of the cloth (Wolfwood), and two insurance company representatives (Milly and Meryl), some donuts, and an ace gunman that likes to peep at pretty ladies, mix, enjoy. Now THAT's comedy. Don't let the goofy names scare you away, trust me, this anime is not one to be missed.

Summary: One of the BEST Animes out there!!!
Review: I have to say that this is an excellent series! When I first heard about Trigun I didn't think it would be all that good. When I first saw it I was expecting a very serious, calm, always knows what to do, always gets the girl kind of main character, but the main character, Vash The Stampede is a very funny main character. Once I looked at it from that point of view I realized that Vash is the kind of character that makes a good series! Vash is a man with a price on his head for $$60,000,000,000 and for something he hasn't done. Wherever this man goes trouble always follows. People say he's killed thousands but there has never been a record of Vash ever killing one person. Though Vash may act stupid at times he can be very serious and there is a hidden depth to this character along with a hidden past. If you like action and love laughing Trigun is the series for you!!!!

Summary: A Terrific Series
Review: My first impression from the first DVD - This is really weird.
At times a total goofball, at others a High Plains Drifter, and in between - well, he'd make Mahatma Ghandi proud "World Peace!".
At some point in the series, you even wonder if he's going to transform into some really strange alien. Just like taking a snapshot of the rockies (you know it can't do it justice) - so it is with just one DVD in the series. The beauty (and addictiveness!) of this series incrementally develops as you move into the story. Yep, it's weird, but in a goofy, expect the unexpected, make you laugh and frown kind of way. Vash takes you for a great ride, and you owe it to yourself to buy a ticket.
Btw - The soundtrack has some really nice cuts - you may want to explore getting the CD, it is one of the best audio CD's i've come across in a long while (again, expect the unexpected).

Summary: Stampede to the nearest store and pick it up
Review: Watching the opening of the series on the DVD, I thought to myself, this is going to be cool. When Vash turns out to be a bit weird I was at first a little upset at how they went and messed up a good story. Then I began to see how humorerous and funny in Vash's silliness could be. The animation is high quality and the story line is addicting. I suggest that anyone who likes anime, needs to watch this series. In other words buy this DVD. Peace...and love...

Summary: Excellent!!!
Review: This was an excellent buy!! I don't think i have laughed so hard in a long time. This is a great show that blends action with humor very nicely. In later episodes the plot turns a little more serious but this is a great beginning. I would reccomend this to anyone and i mean anyone.
